Brought my 2016 corvette to S+S for an oil change and service and was impressed with them. Several months later I had an incident where car ran very rough and was misfiring. Brought it back to S+S immediately. They downloaded the codes which were over 7 pages. They expertly diagnosed the issues, removed the intake manifold and cleaned the back of the intake valves of carbon buildup, replaced one exhaust valve spring (luckily no piston damage) and replaced one bad fuel injector. Prices were reasonable and the work was done in about 2 1/2 days. The car now idles better than it ever has. I'm bringing them my wife's car for brakes and rotors next week. Bob Hatch

Its been 30 years since I have been going to this auto shop and never once have I ever been disappointed. The service is top notch the staff is very courteous and polite and most of all knowledgeable and the owner (Chad) is class act and a consummate professional. They are thorough in their work, timely and will take the time to explain whatever it is you need to know about your car. Most of all they service is reliable and reasonable and that's the main reason I have been going back for the last 30 years. Sunil

I've been using and recommending S&S over 20 years. I had them inspect my sons 1st car before he ever got behind the wheel. They did a full inspection, found a few minor items we could address later, and provided a quote in the event we wanted to fix the items sooner than later. They didn't even charge me for the inspection! This is how to be a straight up honest and caring business. I've never been disappointed with Bo and his guys at S&S!

I had my first experience with this shop and the last. The work ordered took three weeks out due to part not being available. Someone named Brian was my only contact. Brian gave me a ride home while they kept the car to diagnose it. In the 20 minute ride, Brian felt the need to engage in a political conversation and wanted to let me know he was a Trumper, which I found odd and offensive at best. Brian also added stress throughout claiming I needed to clean my car better, but admitted to me that since I was not a military person, he did not expect me to know what 'clean' meant.

This was not only rude, but inappropriate. I guess I could have demanded to see the mechanic's Covid proof that he had 3 shots before getting in my vehicle! I did not. The owner needs to fire this dude, especially since Brian revealed to me that he is on 100% disability. According to Woodslawyers.com, Brian should not be working an outside job because he is on 100% disability. Can Veterans with a 100% Rating for PTSD Still Work? (woodslawyers.com) - the answer is NO!

Excellent mechanics and customer service! I've been going to S&S Auto Services for years and my 2011 Toyota with over 100k miles is a testament to their quality care.

Really appreciate great mechanics/shops like these- who are upstanding and communicates what's going on with your vehicle! Each time I have come, I gained a very clear understanding of what was wrong and how it will be fixed. and it's fixed properly! There are so many crooked people in this industry, I'm grateful to have a trusted shop near by.

Looked for a reliable mechanic near 20 years ago and someone recommended S&S. Been with them ever since. Reliable, honest; they do good work and will strive to fit you in. The other day my son brought his car to them with an oil leak. No idea what was causing it. They looked and saw something that needed to be tightened. Minimal charge. Boy, you can trust them.

Buyer beware. You can get the same level of service for a much fairer price elsewhere. They really overcharged on parts ($115 for front pads when those are available everywhere for $35). Won't be going back again ever. :-(

Had some much needed car maintenance and repairs done this week and could not be more pleased with the service and professionalism of this place! We live in Irvine, but these guys were recommended by a friend in Lake Forest and good, honest, transparent service and fair pricing is definitely worth the drive in my book! They got us in same day, were practicing safe Covid precautions; wearing mask, sanitizer at counter, etc - went for a ride with me (wearing a mask) to listen to the issues I was having on the road.

They were in detailed communication with me about everything they found, including pictures, parts and labor fees attached, so I could make informed decisions. So happy that my car is safe for us on the road again! Will definitely be going back here when it's time for my next oil change or any other maintenance we need. As a precaution, I did call and make an appointment so that I wouldn't have to wait long for service. They were prompt and available at my appointment time. 10/10 recommend!

I've been going to S&S for almost twenty years. Wouldn't think of bringing my car anywhere else. I first showed up all those years ago with a list of repairs that an oil change place told me I needed. S&S gave me the truth about what actually needed to be done and most of it was not necessary. They are always honest and they are reliable and they do a great job. my daughter just got her first car this year and I told her this is the only place she should be going.

Very poor customer service from Thomas. I went there to get a full inspection on a vehicle I purchased from Arizona, was first told they did not have time to do a full inspection but within minutes told me the car had been in a flood, ended up getting a second opinion and was told the car ran perfect, engine sounds great as well and not sure who and why I was told that.

Assume he was referencing the Arizona sand that I had power washed off the car. In the future Just say you don't have time to inspect, don't give me a false detailed report and ramble off a bunch of bullshit information. Keep looking, this place seems to only specialize in oil changes and tire rotations. I suggest going elsewhere.

We would recommend S&S auto service for your auto repairs. Chad, the owner, worked very hard to customize a part for our truck. They are fast and reliable. So far our truck is running good and we are satisfied.

S &S Auto Is a really great place with a lot of integrity and patience in dealing with my family's Jetta. I was really amazed that One of the owners who is also a mechanic was so patient in attempting to find and diagnose why my mom's car wouldn't start. He tested several systems and took it on a test drive as well and spent a couple hours with it at least.

The car head not started out in the Arizona desert but we were able to get it home. Unfortunately we had disconnected the battery to try to reset all of the error codes so by the time we brought it in there were no error codes to collect, but still they tried everything and for all of their effort and patience did not charge us anything which we were completely amazed. Strangely enough the problem has fixed itself now that we're not in a 112 weather, But I'm still really grateful for an honest mechanic who could have charged us for his time and any parts that he wanted to tell us that we needed (even if we didn't need them) but they didn't do any of that, they are honest and reputable and I will absolutely be back with every other vehicle I ever own, because unfortunately honest mechanics are hard to find, and these guys are fantastic AND honest

It had been a while since my last visit but the techs and the owner remembered me and the vehicle. I called them up regarding my 02 infinity i35 driver door, it wouldn't lock anymore. I was expecting a recommendation to a different shop because I didn't think these guys handled stuff like that. They told me they do take care of stuff like that and they would do a bit of research.

They called me back with the price and estimated delivery date. They had to special order the actuator since its not readily available for this older model. I really appreciate that level of effort and how quickly they took care of me! I am glad I reached out to them first.

Great service. Quick and efficient. Took my warranty so I didn't have to go to the dealer and wait. Drive me home. Arranged my rental. Covid safe and super polite. Kept me informed of the progress. I will use them again.

Great service and friendly staff. They have serviced various cars for my family for years now. Suburban, impala, i-35, town-and-country, Camry to name a few.

These guys replaced my transmission in a hurry and got me back on the road asap. On top of the really good service they have been really helpful any other time I come in for vehicle problems. Super nice guys too. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a good mechanic and isn't willing to part with any limbs.

This is the place you need to bring your car to! I called in, and Angelo was very nice and knowledgeable! I explained my problem over the phone and he gave me a very reasonable price. He was also able to get my car in the same day which was awesome! I am very happy with the service and price! As well as Angelo! Very down to earth and Genuine! He's the man you need to talk to. Love this place. As a single woman I'm always afraid of getting taken advantage of by car repair businesses. Been going here for 3 years now everyone is very professional and prices very reasonable.

Don't know why but this place popped into my head today. My family and I have lived in Texas for over 15 years but I remember when I was a teenager, my dad used to take all of our vehicles to this shop because of their honesty and integrity. He never took it anywhere else. As an adult, I've realized how hard it can be to find a trustworthy mechanic. I'm glad to know they're still in business and doing a great job!

These guys are honest and do great work at great prices. Nobody likes having to pay to fix their cars but these guys will give it to you straight. The mechanics are knowledgeable and I've never had a bad experience.

6 stars! These guys are the best in the area. Hands down. I've been bringing my cars here for years and its always been great, honest straightforward service. I have a Dodge and an Infiniti. These guys do it all. Maintenance and repairs. I once brought them the car insisting that I needed a new fuel pump but they clarified that I was just out of gas lol. Not all mechanics are so honest.

Did a great job and followed up a day later to make sure everything ran smoothly. I've been here twice and have appreciated that they've been honest, thorough, and respectful. My son went to S&S about two months ago and this is his review on his experience; I went to this shop because I was experiencing an overheating problem on my Crown Victoria. This was my first "repair shop" visit, and I was glad that I came to the right place! I chose S & S auto repair because I know one of the technicians there(Mr. Shaw, a extremely wonderful person to meet and a great technician!) and saw through reviews and other sources that this shop provides high-quality service, period.

This was exactly what I got! I called up the shop and spoke to Bo(great guy, friendly and personable, but also straight-forward, which I appreciated!) and I told him all of problems that were happening on the car and, later, was able to drive over to the shop to have them look at it. Bo was there and clearly went over all the paperwork and the diagnositic procedures to be performed. Shaw diagnosed and found that I had a bad fan motor, almost instantly!

I left the car at the shop and later decided to perform the repair. The repair was performed, completed and was ready to drive the next day! A total of 2 days to complete both the diag. and the repair(not 2 weeks!). I was completely surprised and wasn't even prepared to pick up the car! The car ran great again and I was extremely happy that I could have it back so soon. S&S is extremely efficient, quick, and does only the best work with a no-nonsense approach. There was no ridiculous fees or anything like that, but simple hard, quality work that lasts! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of great auto repair!

I've been going to S & S Auto Repair for over 4 years now for all my needs. I think they're very down-to-earth, and if you have a limited budget they will work with you to find the best solution for the lowest cost if necessary. I've never had any issues after numerous visits and would.

I really appreciated their honest information. I called in wanting to get a pre purchase inspection on a used vehicle. I couldn't get in for an appointment due to short notice so I can't speak to their work. However the customer service would definitely bring me back if I lived in the area. The person I spoke to let me know his honest opinion regarding the age of the car.

He also saved me some headache by informing me that regardless the vehicle would need to pass a smog test and suggested I do that first. I am so grateful that a mechanic out there gave me an honest answer without trying to rip me off. Thanks!

I'm now 30 and have taken my cars to these guys since I could drive. They're honest reliable fair and just good people. Bo and Gary are the best. I live in LA and I still take my car to them. The best!
