They were very far behind on repairs (as is the case atm in the area with several auto shops) and the guy who answered was good n snarky with me when I asked simple questions about their services. I never went and I feel like after that simple 2min convo on the phone I wouldn't go in the future. I looked into them BECAUSE of the comments on here. I was surprised with the response I got but maybe he was having an off day

Biggest change is Bobby Thompson retired early in 2022. Service is still great and remains a full 5 service location. Bill has used this RPM location for several years with his most recent being the full under carriage and fluid change on his 87 MC SS. Bill dropped off the car on Wednesday with a long list of items to check and change. We just picked her up at Noon on Friday and she was in perfect shape.

Now a normal major and multi fluid change like this might only take a few hours but a 33 year old car takes some extra searching to find parts and gaskets which Bobby and his crew did. This RPM location treats every car like it's a classic and like there own. They are a full service location and highly recommend them for all your automotive repair needs. If Bill can trust them with his beauty then so should you.

I have consistently good experiences with RPM. They make the whole process easy. I had my car towed to their shop, they called me with pricing and timeline within 24 hours. They ordered parts and completed repairs within 48 hours which exceeded my expectations. Very grateful.

They repaired my window but another part on the same window failed 3 weeks later after paying $450. They fixed it again at no charge and I'm happy with the service they provided. They also have a nice area to sit & use your lap top or phones if you need to be there for a while. Will definitely use them again for car repairs.

I had my sons car towed to this shop they replaced the thermostat and housing filled it with coolant and charged 496 dollars, I got two other estimates for the same exact repair one came in at 290 dollars and the RPM shop on Atlantic was 309 dollars, I've used this shop in the past and they were fair now they are crooks, never again they are CROOKS, shame on them, how do they sleep at night, I'm reporting them to the BBB.

I went there for all four wheel alignment of my car, Although the price was a little on the higher side, their 6 months warranty and excellent front desk staff made up for it. It was my first visit outside of my dealership and RPM has won a new repeat customer.

Unbelievable! Absolutely loved the service and speed of survice. We broke down on the way and they had us up and running by 11:00 am. You saved our trip! Merry Christmas Couldn't recommend this place more.

We were traveling and broke down. These folks took our truck in same day, within an hour we knew that we were lucky to have made it to their garage. These folks are really good. Had a shorted fuse box from water coming in through bad weather stripping on windshield. They helped me with a budget friendly replacement and had me back on the road the next day. They also called multiple times just to provide me updates - which was nice.

New to the area. I had just had an awful experience with a money pit of a car, 2001 cl500. Seemed like always chasing repairs. Purchased a 2011 Lexus ES350 and very happy. First issue of wheel shake in acceleration started occurring so I googled it. Tons of stories of the same issue for that model.and tons of stories on owners chasing the symptoms.

Fear set in. Carfax on my car said it had been serviced many times at a different RPM, so gave this one a shot. Jason shared the diagnosis, I went with it, and it's fixed! First try! SAME DAY at that. Highly recommend. Pricing was fair. Quality of work fantastic. Staff very nice.

Service was great, but I feel if you just paid to place 4 new tires on your car and two weeks later you have a flat and all they had to do was patch it.then why can't they waive a $25 fee? I could have went to somewhere much closer and got charged the same price. Then when asked, the Associate replied "its Corporate policy".Wow.then "then Corporate".I will take my business elsewhere. Think about it.you loose a customer over $25! A brand new one as well!

I was leaving out of town on a road trip and my Jeep needed an oil change. They were able to get me in that day on short notice. They do get very busy so I recommend making an appointment. The owner also told me I had too much pressure in my tires which I was very appreciative of. The Jeep ran better and I will be coming back here for my next oil change as I felt they were very honest.

RPM at the beach is a very trustworthy and knowledgeable auto repair shop. We have used them 3 times and have been satisfied with every service.

Take your car here. Dwayne and the mechanics at RPM worked hard to find a problem with my car and fixed two different issues that were totally separate! When I came back to them the second time they fixed it for free! Highly recommend them and they're quick and courteous service! They can also do computers and coding that a lot of mechanics cannot do!

It can be extremely difficult, especially as a female, to find honest, dependable, and talented mechanics until I came to RPM Automotive in Jacksonville Beach. I had been dealing with a parasitic draw on my battery with no luck at resolving the issue. The professionals at RPM not only diagnosed the issue but got another one of their mechanics from another RPM location to come assist.

I have an old Tahoe with almost 190,000 miles. I feel totally comfortable having my car serviced here. As a woman I can't begin to tell you how many times mechanics have tried to con me into having unnecessary repairs. That has NEVER happened at RPM. They are honest and straightforward. If they find an additional problem they always call and explain what is wrong and let you know the cost before the repair. I highly recommend their service and wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

It is an amazingly, honest and respectable service location. As a woman, I have felt taken advantage of at other service stations. RPM treats me very professionally and with no pressure. In fact, that is how they treat everyone! Price is fair and service is outstanding.

I cannot say enough good things about RPM in Jacksonville Beach. They are a honest, reliable and they hold onto a higher standard than most auto shops I know. One local auto shop, a chain store type, looked at my car and quoted 1500.00 of work for a squeal under the hood of the car. I took my car to RPM the same day and they did a thorough job looking over my car, tightened the belt that was squealing and didn't charge me a dime! Who does that? RPM does! Plus they saved me 1500.00 worth of needless work. Thanks guys!

I was very happy with my first experience with RPM. I had started the day with a car whose air conditioner decided not to function. Not a happy event anywhere but especially not in Jax in August. Being new in town, I checked Yelp and AAA and decided RPM was my best bet. I called and they told me to come in and they would check it out but it might not be till mid or late afternoon till the could get to it.

I got their around 10:30 and had arranged for a ride home. I was pleasantly surprised when before my ride showed up they had my Yukon in a bay and before I left they were able to tell me that the problem wasn't any major component. All said and done, the car was done by 3 pm at a reasonable price and they asked that I come back in a couple of weeks so they can check for any possible leaks. This was a very satisfactory first visit, I think I've found my go to for auto repairs in the future.

As an older woman with an even older car, I am frequently reluctant to enter the male world of automotive care. Entering RPM I was put at ease by the artistic array of plants and the expertise of the personnel.my car was fixed quickly and the bill was amazing.zero charge for a simple tire fix.

I came in for a slow air leak in my tire and an oil change. I didn't have an appt and there were several customers ahead of me, but they were able to get everything completed in less than two hours. I sat in the waiting room; which had free coffee, water, and wifi. The waiting area was so clean, it must have been recently renovated and the leather chairs were very comfortable.

As I sat in the waiting room, I witnessed the interactions between the staff and the customers. they were all so helpful and professional. The guys at RPM made it a point to educate their patrons and they encouraged questions. On more than one occasion, a customer would ask for a recommendation and the staff would recommend other automotive shops in town that offered specialized car care.

At the end of the day, I paid 20% less than my original quoted price and these guys were incredibly honest. I would highly recommend RPM and I will continue to use their services for all of my vehicles

Wonderful experience. Brought my 2005 Honda Odyssey for a noise we heard while on a road trip from Maryland. Then got us in and out in under 20 minutes and we were back on the road. They didn't charge me for the small adjustment they made to eliminate the noise. Couldn't ask for a more honest mechanic.

I just want to say how much I appreciate the wonderful job that Reuben and the masterful technicians at the Jacksonville Beach location always do on my car. I am so grateful for the honest, reliable, and quality work that they do that I wanted to share my great experience with others. It's hard to find honest, dependable, superior work with reasonable costs, but they deliver every single time.

Didn't know if trouble with older 4Runner was battery or starter - called RPM and Reuben said sounded like battery needed replacement. Saved us having AAA tow to shop! Honest and will get our business when needed in future.

Driving from Pennsylvania, I was stuck as where to go to get our BMW repaired. 6 out of 8 local friends all came up with the same name. David, a master mechanic, resolved the issue simply, and I was back on the road in no time. Don't let the no frills deter you, they are well versed experts.

I've taken my cars to RPM for 4 years now, and they know me by name these days, so I owe them a good review. I've taken a couple of high-mileage (120,000 and 180,000 mi) Accords (and, more recently, a Mazda) here for regular checkups, and they've always been quick on the turnaround and honest with my repairs. Hondas are as reliable as they come, and RPM hasn't done me wrong. I've never paid more than a few hundred bucks for a repair, with a single exception: they quoted me $1300 for an A/C repair a few years ago, and I was able to find a place toward downtown that quoted me about $150 cheaper.

What I'm saying is there's arguably a little bit of beaches-location markup here, but that's the only time it's really stood out for me. Overall, great service, fast turnaround, everything you'd want from your local auto shop. Happy to be a customer.

Honesty and integrity is the core of this business! I trust their advice and their work. I had a job done that I didn't approve of and they completely redid the job free of charge! High class! The price isn't cheep but worth the cost.
