We are the oldest family owned auto radiator and heat exchanger repair shop in Volusia County!. The young Robbins family moved from Waycross, Georgia to Daytona Beach, Florida when John & Blanche opened up Robbins Service Center in 1922. Later, they turned the business over to their sons John "Junior, " Roy, and Alex "Pickie" Robbins.
We want you to be completely satisfied with our service, so please let us know how we're doing. Brought my WW2 Jeep Radiator for testing and cleaning. As promised, I was called the next day with a status update and when it will be ready which also was as promised. This is an old fashion quality business that is rare to find, even in Daytona Beach.

My regular mechanic went out of business shortly before both windows in my '00 F150 stopped working. I took my truck to Robbins and they quoted me a price of about $250, which I had found fairly reasonable considering that I'd had the same repair done on the driver side window on my previous '91 F150 about 15 years earlier and that's what it cost me then. Robbins was able to fix the passenger side by tapping on it, so no work there. However, the motor on the driver's side had to be replaced.
Not only did they fix my window, but John called to tell me that he was wrong on the price and that it was only going to be $167! I mean, WHO DOES THAT? Should I add that I'm a woman? I was treated with the respect due to any paying customer, I got a great deal, and the ability to smell the ocean air when I'm driving next to the beach again. Robbins is great! I'll be back.

I dropped my car off to have all four brakes changed and Robbins called to let me know that my front brakes still looked new. Only my back brakes needed changed. They asked if I still wanted them changed.that it would cost about half if I didn't. They could have changed the brakes, at my request, charged me, and I wouldn't have known. It's blows me away because this is the second time (the first time for another car repair issue) they have displayed complete honesty. Usually mechanics try to feed you nonsense.especially when you're a woman. I am so glad I tried this place. I've already been referring them. Happy customer right here!

Took my car here for an A/C diagnostic, since my A/C was broken. When I picked up my car, the piece around the radio that meets the dash was all chipped and scuffed, presumably from where they removed it to investigate. I don't appreciate folks working on things in my car and ruining pieces because they won't take the time to do it right or use the right tool. If you have a nice car you really like and take care of, don't take it here.
