In 1989, Jim and his wife, Kay, purchased the operation, opened a second auto repair location in Santa Maria. In 2007, the third generation of Rizzoli's, brother and sister Kyle and Karen, joined the business after graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Great customer service. Answered all of my questions. Work on the car was done with great care and expertise. Staff was great. Shuttle service provided. Rizzoli's Automotive is a very experienced Auto Repair shop that takes very good care of their customers. They provided a very thorough safety/vehicle inspection on my Ford Edge and gave me a printout of all services performed during this inspection. This printout let me know exactly what services need correcting on my vehicle and what the recommended intervals between services should be.
Upon arrival to pick up my car, they went over my inspection and offered to make the follow-up appointment to correct my vehicles issues. My car was clean ready and waiting for me. Very experienced shop and very polite. I will recommend Rizzoli's to everyone I know.

I had a transmission rebuild and a couple major issues repaired and I am completely satisfied with Rizzoli's professionalism and service. I also love that they used new parts (OEM) and have a 3 year (36,000 mile) warranty included. Randy was great to work with and I plan on taking my car back to complete my list of repairs and ongoing maintenance.

We've been using Rizzoli's for a number of years now but a lot more since Covid! The service has been excellent. They do everything we ask for and then some. Also we are in our 70s so we need to be extra vigilant due to Covid. They have helped us stay safe with their no contact service! Our vehicles are well serviced and running well, including smog tests! We are happy with their service and their staff! thank you, Rizzoli's Automotive!

Not being from the area, I was recommended this shop to repair my car. I left it there overnight as it could not drive down to my hometown. When I went to check on it the next morning, I was greeted by Randy and was met with the utmost integrity and professionalism. They were honest and quickly repaired my car. They will have my customer loyalty for a long time. Highly recommend this shop.

Oil gauge showed zero oil pressure, and driver information center said to turn off engine immediately. Rizzoli's got me in that same day. Turns out they were familiar with this type of problem and were able to make the repair and have the truck back to me the next day. They do all my automotive maintenance and repair. They are fair, and very knowledgeable.

Took my car in for some pretty heavy diagnostics which I was not able to figure out so it took it into rizzoli's they hooked everything they could up to it and the diagnostics would cut out every time the issue occurred. They called me and let me know that they're diagnostics was not able to find the issue, because it would cutout and they would lose data. they gave me the car back and charged me just the hour labor. they were very professional people very nice people, answered all my questions that I had and gave me full absolute report of everything that they did and found. I would recommend rizzoli's to anyone who asks me about them.
