I got a flat tire. Stupidly, I bright the tire/car into Arlington Nissan to have them plug the flat, they kept the car for 1 1/2 hours, only to tell me that they can't plug the tire, & not only was that tire bad, but they also took the a tire off the car, and I needed two new tires.$685 dollars. My wife knows John from were she works, called him and had to drive an hour, turns out that I didn't need new tires, the flat was plugged by John and he charged $36! They are honest and there work is superb.

There are still honest merchents out there! This was the most enjoyable and painless purchase of tires ever, and I've been driving for close to 50 years! John was honest and informative. Before he even considered selling me a tire he offered other solutions where possible. When tire repair was not possible, he offered me the cheapest option available without me even asking.

This showed concern for his customes. I appreciated that! The waiting area is clean and comfortable and they are still offering coffee! I would suggest this shop for anyone looking for tires and will surely be back with my other cars.

You guys worked on my driveshaft and damaged it and sent me out with a damaged driveshaft beyond what it was prior to my visit. I had to have it fixed by another shop. Who specializes in driveshaft. I paid a lot of money for this repair and only went backwards I am not coming back to your shop ever again. I never asked for a refund when this happened.

Tire Service is honest and has integrity about their car repair diagnosis'. I've been there 3 times. I had a diagnostic test, oil change and now a pressure switch (a/c) issue. I'm happy with their work, which is affordable. Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys went above and beyond for us. Our van failed emissions, and rather than just printing out the sheet and sending us on our way, they worked with us extensively to help us actually solve the issue, unlike any other place we've been to before. It was amazing, and in the end, we were able to fix, pass our emissions in a few days time, and everything turned out beautifully. I very highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back in the future for further work on our van, no doubt.

Purchased tires for my 5th wheel. Then drove to Florida one tire had a manufacture defect. If you want customer service John of Quality tire is your place. As soon as I called him he made me feel I was his only customer. He immediately went into action and had a local place come right to me to replace the tire. Kept me informed the entire time. I will now go to quality tire in Johnsburg for all my family tires. Can't say enough great things about the place

Well this is the first car repair needed since moving from Texas. Went for a simple tire patch.took only the tire for this 15 min repair. 8 hours later it still was not ready. In Texas I would have been done in 30 min. Then the manager proceeds to tell me it will be a few more hours as they have a few jobs ahead of me? Really I was the first person in the door when they open. Are you working on yesterday's work? Are they waiting like me?

Totally too slow and miss managed. Then the real kicker $32 for a tire patch? Really this is $10 in Texas. I asked what was I charged for? He said labor is $30hr! I told him that I watched the guy from the time he first touched the tire and it was 30 min. So it should be $15-$17. He then says that it is a flat rate. The mechanic did do quality work therefore they get to Two stars! Just be ready for a long long long repair times and excessive charges.

I had spent a fortune trying to get my check engine light to go off so I could go through emissions. I kept getting the small emission leak code which several people told me were very hard to find. These guys did the smoke test and couldn't find the leak so cleaned and resealed all the connectors are voila! The light went out and it passed! Plus it only cost me $100. Wish I had found them earlier. I highly recommend them.

Referred by the Moran Family who's done business with Quality Tire for years, I walked in a total stranger and felt like nothing short of family. With days before Christmas, replacing tires was the last thing I had on my giant list of To-Dos, but John found the size I needed in stock and put on 4- Bridgestone Blizzaks for a FRACTION of ordering a new set, all from his warehouse of perfectly good tires.

Two days later, BAM! Blizzard Chicago Style and I was crawling around like a beach crab in the Keys! I LOVE these tires - including not having to hock jewelry to get them - and couldn't recommend Quality Tire higher. Before completing my tire install, they also did a much-needed oil change, so I am READY to face another Chicago Winter! Bring it! I'm ok. I've got Quality Tire!

This is my second review of QTS. My wife and I have been using them for several years. They are always honest and deliver excellent services. They just serviced the brakes and suspension on my high-mileage Honda Civic and it now handles like a sports car.

Took my car here may 2014 to get new tires and brakes checked before I moved to California. They put new brakes pads on along with new tires. Had constant chattering in rear brakes. Took it back up there and they said they fixed it. The chatter was gone for about two weeks(so my drive to California was fine) it's been over a year and a half now but only about 11000 miles since I don't drive much and the chattering was so annoying.

I took it to multiple places and each place said the same thing.pads and clips were put on wrong, which caused other problems as well with the brakes and tires. Now after only 11,000 miles I need new brake pads, rotors, and some other things that were damaged from the way they were put on. $1400 service to get everything fixed plus what I paid at quality tire.

John is fantastic, very kind and you can tell he greatly cares about what he does and the people he helps. I drove from Crystal Lake to his shop off a referral from a friend and will make the trip here every time I need service done on my car.

I had been told by roadside service that the puncture in my tire would be unrepairable.not so! These guys repaired my tire and got me in and out of there fast! Will definitely be back in the fall when I need to buy a new set of tires!

Because of the previous reviews my husband went there today to get a used tire since the roads are so bad one of his tires was punctured. Now here the great part he first went to the dealer Chevy and they told him he had to buy a new tire that they couldn't fix it. So instead we checked around and found QTS to have the best reviews and I agree they not only fixed the tire they were friendly and knowledgable they made us feel like we've know the for years. Would definitely go back there.

This place has gone downhill over the years. It started 5 years ago, when i had a used tire put on. While driving 45mph down rt 120, my tire flew off across 3 lanes of traffic and hit a shopping building. I have used them for used tires but after last friday I will not again. I had to call three times to see if they had a tire. Each time i was told someone was checking and would get a call back. NOPE. Then the next morning someone had the nerve to call and tell me they did have a tire. I guess it takes 24 hrs to find a tire. Lol

5 stars all the way. Maybe more. I have to give John and his team a TOP rating and the highest commendation I can give. We were on our way to the Chain O' Lakes when we had an asphalt mishap with a tire on a dealer loaner vehicle. It was a big mess, we thought we might have to replace the tire but Shane saved the day for us and got the old tire cleaned up and got us back on the road.

In less than an hour too. Chris (I think her name was Chris) was also fantastic. Not knowing auto businesses in the area at all we pulled them from a google search on my phone. I knew I wanted to avoid the tire chain places at all costs as they are USELESS, so we wound up here. I am so happy we did. Next time I need tires I will give John a call, this is a service oriented shop where customer service is top priority. Saved the day, maybe the whole weekend.

Quality Tire has been my family's establishment of choice for over 20 years. Not only is the shop and lounge are clean, the employees are helpful and friendly. They take the time to answer any and all questions with patience. This is a great local business to support. John, thank you for all your help to my family and myself over the years.

I've been a customer of QTS since August 2011 at their new location. Since then I've only had to bring my 2001 Oldsmobile Alero in a few times for regular maintenance unlike the last place business I dealt with. On May 8th I had an HID kit purchased online installed under warranty because the other 2 failed. I also have had fog lights replaced.

They honor all work under warranty and understand if your on a budget in these hard times. John and the rest of his staff are very honest and personable with customers. The staff is very knowledgeable about vehicles and the services they offer. As far as scheduling goes they do have a lot of customers but will do their best to fit you in. If you happen to run into any issues they make you first priority and rest assured to make you satisfied.

Also included is 24/24,000 mile warranty packet they will give you. I would absolutely recommend them! 5 stars! UPDATE: Applied for a Citi Drive card back in June 2014. However promotion for gift card ended even tho it was displayed in shop they we're not aware of this. Afterwards I closed the account once they said they ran the card since it could not be used at other places.

They we're supposed to charge it and never did according to my statements. Being told I would have 6 months to pay it off I would have a minimum payment with 0% APR! January 2015 came and I suddenly ended up with a huge bill! -1 star because of this inconvience!
