Services
We at Professional Touch provide our customers with a constant update on the status of their vehicle during the repair process. The best way to obtain an estimate for your vehicle is to come by the shop from 8am-5pm Monday - Friday. The Professional Touch Autobody guarantees to repair, free of charge, any defects of workmanship of repairs stated on the repair invoice, unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle.This guarantee covers labor only. Separate manufacturer's warranties may cover parts.
Many people are not aware that if you are involved in an accident, and the accident was not your fault, you are entitled to a rental vehicle paid for by the at-fault party or the at-fault party's insurance company. Also you can insist that the vehicle be similar to the one being fixed. Why should you drive a Yugo when your wrecked car is a Mercedes?
Answer: Yes we are an I-Car Gold class shop which means our employees have all the latest tools and training. We also have some of the finest frame machines and welding equipment available. We have the finest spray booth in all of Santa Cruz County.

Had little rattle noise in my Honda after putting new front bumper in my car. It actually took me months to call them and explain what happened etc. I thought my chances of getting this fixed are not really good, but I decided to give them a call, left a message, Got response in no time, was told to come and someone will look into my car. Finally made it there. Got my problem fixed within 30 minutes, which was just small adjustment to a plastic cover that I had under my hood, that probably popped out a bit and was a bit loose and making noise while driving faster. Brian (my hero) put this plastic part all nice and super tied, took me for a ride and here I am writing this review.

Definitely professional, I was a bit nervous to address my issue so long after my claim and repairs, but I am glad I did. We had both our cars in this body shop and I have to tell you, not over priced and always super helpful.

We just took our 3 cars there due to the fires. They all needed cleaning inside and out. All the cars came out great, even beyond our expectations. We are so happy with the results and would highly recommend them for your car that needs cleaning or repairs.

Great service and an excellent repair. Someone wasn't looking and backed out of a parking space and hit my wife's car on the driver front fender. We both had CSAA insurance. We selected Professional Touch because of the 5 star reviews and they were a CSAA Direct Repair Facility. They kept me informed though out the repair process and provided great customer service.

I highly recommend Professional Touch for collision repairs. Sadly CSAA failed to subrogate against their insured who backed out of the parking space without looking so we had to pay our $500 deductible.

When choosing an auto body shop always look at the reviews and hopefully people are honest and tell there exact experience. That's what this is. These guys took care of my daughters car from beginning to end with class and they have the crew to make your car look new again. They do what they say and they are reasonably priced. I took my baby- my 2015 fully loaded black SXT Plus here after an encounter with a mudslide. I was worried, but I shouldn't have been- I just picked her up and my baby looks brand new. Color is perfect. The only thing I wish is that I would have paid to have gotten some other minor scratches (unrelated to mudslide) fixed at the same time. Oh well, I know who I'll be going back to. Thank you. Oh, I also paid per my insurance and required OEM parts and paid the difference, as applicable.

We took our Honda Civic to The Professional Touch in Scotts Valley and the completely restored our 10 year old Civic to look brand new. It was a surprise to our son and as soon as we got it back he showed it off to his friends-so proud. Karl and his staff were professional, knowledgeable, honest, cordial, and the price was fair. Won't go anywhere else.

Many years I brought a truck in to be repaired after hitting a dear. They made the truck look brand-new. Really pleased except that they did not replace the window molding which has been leaking ever since. 2nd experience made me decide that I will never darken their business door step again. Brought in vehicle. Never called or sent me the estimate as they stated that they would. Stated to the insurance company that the car was not worth fixing.

It was one of the worst experience in recent memory. How this latest experience with this business can change me from someone who would of recommended this business to all of my friends and business colleagues to looking elsewhere from now on.

Botched repair of front end of c7 corvette. Seams did not match on any side. Further inspection found a bent subframe. I was told it was from a previous incident so even though they noticed it, they didn't mention it to me and didn't repair it. But the previous incident was one they had repaired. I got a lot of excusses but they fixed everything in the end. I just don't feel I should have to micromanage everything

I've used the Professional Touch twice now. Once in July of 2015 and then in May of 2017. My initial experience in 2015 was decent (outside of the neighboring Hertz rental car accidentally erasing my reservation, which was made 2 months in advance and having me scramble over to san jose to find a rental car that ended up costing me $200 extra).

Fast forward 2 years, we took a different vehicle back after my Mother had been rear ended. The work was done decently, somewhat on time line and the people in the office were decently-friendly. However, recently I found out that we weren't notified of the severity relating to this accident. Upon trading in our vehicle, the dealership provided us a Carfax report on our trade-in (vehicle Professional Touch worked on in May 2017).

In this Carfax report, it states an accident reported in May of 2017 that included damage to the vehicle's frame. This explains some of the mechanical and drivability issues we were having with the car, also explains why it was worth $2,500 LESS in trade when we went in to trade it in. This car's title was clean upon trading it in, however, had this frame damage been reported to us/our insurance provider they would have salvaged the vehicle out.

After a couple experiences here, I have realized they have cost me $2500 extra versus going to a different shop ($2,500 less on trade valuation). Not reporting this issue to myself/my mother is horribly troubling and to a degree, jeopardized her safety. I hope they become more clear with the issues present on vehicles when they're inspected and repaired. They're nice people and mistakes happen, however, I wont be returning and I hope they don't have any similar issues moving forward.

Yes, I was in a fender bender and the insurance was great to have but the Auto body place was even better. Professional Touch was just that, they put my mind at ease right away and communication was open and clear. When a part was late they called me let me know step by step. Shane and Helene were very professional. It was a new car so I was a wreck emotionally.

Professional Touch Auto Body is the only body shop I trust with my cars. I live 2 hours away and I will continue to bring my cars back to get any work done. A few months ago I got into an accident with a center divide. My car had major front end damage and I was sure there was no coming back from this accident. I was greeted by Helene who assured me my car would be in great hands.

She answered every call I made extremely happy and never was annoyed by my endless questions. Having Hertz rental right there made the process that much easier and pain free. My repairs took about 2 1/2 weeks and when I came to pick up my car I couldn't tell there was any damage done. My car looked better than it did before the car accident. I am forever grateful for the Professional Touch team for saving my last possession my grandfather left me. I will ALWAYS go back and ALWAYS refer Professional Touch Auto Body to everyone looking for a great and honest body shop.

WARNING: If you have Professional Touch work on your car, and they put any parts on it, know that if the parts fail, Professional Touch WILL NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK NOR REPLACE THE PARTS. They will say that it's not their fault that the part is bad and try to make you deal with the warranty on the part and then not refund your money. I took my car to Professional Touch to have some peeling trim pieces replaced that were looking bad.

They replaced them, but then shortly thereafter, the pieces that they replaced had failed and looked worse than ever. We took it back to Professional Touch, they agreed that the parts looked bad, took photos and sent the photos to whoever they bought the parts from. The word came back that to replace the parts with the warranty, I (me, not them) would have to drive to a Toyota dealership in San Jose where they purchased the parts so that they could be examined, on the car, in person.

I asked for the contact and phone number and called over to San Jose to question why I (me, not Professional Touch) had to bring the car over and they said that their hands were tied and that was company policy and that I should push back on Professional Touch. I agreed and that's what I did. I brought my car back over to Professional Touch and asked them to go ahead and take my car and deal with the warranty themselves and replace the parts.

They refused saying that they didn't have the staff to do that. Well, guess what, either do I. They said that they could give me the receipt for the part (since THEY BOUGHT IT) and I could take it to Toyota Santa Cruz. I said that I didn't see why I (ME!) should have to do that. Shaine says, "I held up my end of the bargain." Really? You replaced a failing part on my car with a faulty part and then I am supposed to bear the burden of making it right and dealing with the warranty on a part that I, myself did not purchase and/or have the receipt for? Incredulous. So, seeing that I wasn't going to get anywhere with them actually doing the right thing and getting my car fixed properly, I asked for my money back.

He said that he wasn't authorized to do that and would have to talk to the owner. So I waited the rest of the day Thursday, Friday and on Monday morning I called back to ask if he had talked to the owner and he said no. I told him that I would give him until the end of the day to get back to me on my refund or I would share my experience. IS THIS REALLY HOW a LOCAL BUSINESS should TREAT a LOCAL FAMILY? Shaine was very rude, non apologetic and said to me this morning, "I don't know why you're mad at me, I didn't sell you the part, Toyota did." Hmm, funny, because I have a receipt from Professional Touch for replacement of 2 trim pieces and I am charged for parts and labor; I have NO RECEIPT FROM TOYOTA. Bottom line is that if you want to roll the dice having your car repaired by Professional Touch, be prepared to lose.

They fix my truck very fast but there are other problems that they don't NOT fix after I told them all the things wrong with my truck I am NOT happy with this shop Go somewhere else and save your self a headache

Just dropped off my Hertz rental car onsite, and picked up my repaired car at The Professional Touch Autobody in Scotts Valley. Their estimate was HALF the price of estimates i got locally (santa cruz) because they had the confidence in their expertise to smooth out the dent, rather than install a new panel. Their confidence is well placed. They allowed me to check the repair before they painted it, and the finished product is perfection. My car now looks better than it ever did (i bought it used). The icing on the cake is the car wash. My Audi is gleaming and I am beaming with appreciation for these guys.

I had taken one of our cars in for repairs a few months ago. I was called and told the car was ready, upon arrival I noticed that the part of the damaged area was not repaired. Had to leave the car for another week. It was an inconvenience to leave the car longer than expected, but they did get it done right. Here's where they lost me. I had to take another car in for an estimate.

The estimate included repainting an entire panel and I had confirmed this verbally. Scheduled the appointment and dropped the car off to be repaired. After picking up the car, I saw that they blended the front of the panel, then cleared entire panel right over a chip in the paint.
