Rod and his team at Pro Tech are great. My sisters and I have all been bringing our cars here for several years now, and he always takes good care of them and charges fair prices. If there is something his shop can't repair, he will refer you to a place that can take care of you. But most routine maintenance and care he can take care of. Definitely one of the few places I fully trust leaving my car.

I have taking all of our cars to Pro Tech since 1996. Rod is open and honest in explaining things such as, "you'll probably need to replace this part in about six months, but you're good for now." He doesn't try to upsell, but lays out anticipated issues giving me enough time to plan for and watch for issues to emerge. He stands by his work and I have recommended ProTech to many friends. I like doing business with a local business owner who knows who I am and does an excellent job of caring for my vehicles.

Our engine was misfiring on a trip, and they got us in right away, and back on the road that day. They are courteous and professional, and I would recommend them to anyone.

We went to Pro-Tech to get get our car checked out for the ABS system. They got it repaired quickly. Previously we went to the dealership and they said they could not fix it until March 2022. Besides that, the dealership came up with a long list of repairs. PRO-TECH checked those repairs out and we were told that they were not needed. Rod at pro-Tech was very professional, fair priced, and repaired our vehicle in a reasonable time period. I will return there for any repairs I may need in the future.

These guys are very good. I live about 45 minutes drive from them and I find it is worth my time to take my vehicles to them.

Had water coming in front sides windshield area. Front seats soaked. Previous service center told me the skylight would did need to come out and whatever the job was go be, it was to be expensive. My new provider here cleaned out some dirty tracks that keep the water from coming into the car. Seemed an easy & economical fix and I'm happy to say it's all good again

It's so hard to come by a genuine and honest mechanic. Particularly in my experience as a young woman, mechanics have always tried to upsell or overcharge me for services. Rod and his team are awesome, and went above and beyond. I was even given a ride home while they worked on my car, and offered to be picked up when the work was complete. I would give them a 10/10 recommendation, and will definitely be returning for all of my car-related needs. I appreciate you guys!

My car broke down late on a Sunday evening, and I had to have it towed to the closest garage to my house. I was worried about this garage based on the review here and a few on google, but I was pleasantly surprised! The owner was very helpful the next morning when I called, explained to me exactly what he was going to do, and got the work done in under 3 hours.

My wheel barring had gone bad and had to be completely replaced. He sourced the part, had it delivered to the shop and the entire cost came out to only $275 (part = $140ish, labor = $70ish/hour). He allowed me to take my car to the ATM to get out cash for payment, and gave me a detailed full page receipt that included a 12 month warranty on the part and the work that was done. As a 20 something up in NY without my family, the owner made a difficult process as easy and stress free as possible. Would highly recommend for quick, quality service!

We took my husband's truck here for a check engine light problem and NYS inspection. He said he replaced a nonfunctioning part required for proper emissions control. He said to drive it 80 to 100 miles and the computer would reset. 100 miles and 510 dollars later, light is still on and we are out 510 dollars. He only takes cash and does not give a receipt or documentation of work performed.

We took it to two other places and both said that one of the emissions devices was not functioning. We took it to another garage & left it for work. Garage owner said that it appeared to not have had any parts replaced. His cost for fixing it was 239 dollars and you get a receipt and documentation of work performed. A very expensive lesson for me.

Rod and Steve are super helpful. They dont look to sell you stuff you dont need like other places I have been. Honest, helpful and reliable people. Would recommend to anyone needing car help.
