Rob and his staff went ABOVE and BEYOND to get my car back on the road before I was going out of town. They did not have to, but chose to stay late on a Friday just to get it done so I could get to my family reunion. I cant thank them enough for their understanding and commitment to their customers. 100% would recommend, great experience. Driving through Albertville my driving belt snapped. I pull over and ended up here to hopefully get a quick fix. One look an the belt and Rob knew there was a bigger issue in the car. Precision Auto Repair went ahead order parts and fixed the car on the same day. From calling the parts shop to explaining the issue in my car they did everything they could to help me in a timely manner. Great place. Thank you for the assistance.

I had issues with my car on the way home from Christmas up north. I called around Tuesday morning to my usual place and they were booked until the first of the year. So I googled for near by auto care places and Precision came up first. I called and Rob told me I could bring it in and when they had a chance they would look at it and see what the problem was, but said it would be Wednesday before they could work on it.

I agreed and brought it in at 8am. I few hours later, I got the called to say what was wrong and that it would be a quick fix. Then they called back at 3pm and said it was done and ready to pick up. I was so happy that they were able to fix it the same day. Now I wouldnt have to miss work. The guys were easy to talk to and they explained everything in terms that I could understand. Very friendly and helpful. I will definitely use them again and will start using them for my basic oil changes and tires also.

I wish I could give a 4.5 star review. Was able to get my car in and completed within 2 days. Service fairly priced for what I had done. My one and only complaint I have, is the oil filter used was a 5k mile Napa Pro Select filter. My car goes nearly 12k miles per oil change (till car reads 0% life). I have generally aimed for the 10k mile mark or 5% life for my oil changes. I would have rather spent the extra 4$ on a proper 10k mile oil filter vs. having to now replace it with 50+% oil life left in 4-5 months.

Where do I start? My wife was in the process of buying a used car for her daughter. Finally settled on a car (2013 Honda CR-V, 63,x xx miles), with the provision that it must pass inspection first. Our usual shop in Maple Grove was swamped and could not fit us in. Looked for a AAA certified shop closer to home and found Precision Auto Repair. Called, and they too were swamped.

When I explained the situation, they agreed to squeeze us in. At first, the inspection showed nothing bad at all. In fact, they said it was "a great car". And in all respects it was. The only issue was a malfunctioning rear license plate light (a ticketable offense in MN, so we chose to have it fixed). They started it up to bring it back into the shop and they heard a noise that concerned them greatly.

Their new inspection report: "DO NOT BUY THIS CAR!". It went back to the dealer, they weren't happy, but we dodged a HUGE bullet because of Precision Auto Repair. Thank you so much! And the college kid says she loves her (new to us) 2018 Kia Soul!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience. My car broke down and was towed there- I had an estimate so fast and all was fixed by the next day. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and to have my car checked out after running over a chunk of ice rolling in the road this winter. They checked my oil levels, checked out the undercarriage of my car, and took it for a drive to ensure nothing was wrong, all at no charge. Thank you for your honesty. They were very professional. The timing was phenomenal. I have been to other places where they gave me a time to drop my vehicle off and ended up not getting to it for like a day or two. Precision Auto gave me a time, and had it repaired by end of day the next day for me to pick up. Will definitely be bring my repairs to them in the future. Thank you very much Precision Auto!

Rob and the team are top notch! They have always taken care of me and my family! On the coldest day of the year Rob helped me out with some truck issues and walked me through what to do (it was a Sunday!). Ended up with a flat tire on the truck so through on the spare and tossed the bad tire in the back. Called and in a few hours had an appointment to repair tire and a oil change to boot. Service was quick and timely as always and I was on my way home. I totally expected the spare to be in the back of the truck but when I dropped the tailgate and. found no tire I thought no way. Looked under the truck and there tucked away where it belongs was the spare. No big deal but a classy and much appreciated move. I was charged $825 for a $590 brake job. A simple rotor, caliper, and pad remove/install.on ONE axle, not two! I was shocked at the price. I said, "I must have got really premium parts." They replied, "No, just Napa parts." I couldn't believe brakes on the front of my car cost this much because I just did the rear brakes at Albertville Care Care Center a few months prior.

I went home and checked the invoice. I noticed a 175.8% mark-up on parts. The most any other shop will charge is a 60% mark-up, which is the highest in the industry. The part numbers were right in the invoice. I was charged $154.43 for EACH caliper that is $55.99 at Napa! (55.99x2.758=154.42, 2.758-1=1.758x100=175.8%) I got several estimates of $590 for this job all around the area.

A trusted mechanic tried to get the job to $825 and could not. He said, "Even if I charge you an extra 175% for parts, I can't get the price that high." Labor on this job is $115 at most other shops and Precision charged me $220 labor. I noticed another review that stated, "Rich locals are this guy's bread and butter." I think he was exactly correct saying that. I am not rich and stupid, which is why I will never be there again.

Excellent professional service! I had a problem with the front end of my daughter's Jeep. They did a full inspection of the car and provided a thorough analysis of the problems and what needed to be done. The schedule for the inspection was right on time. They quoted a price for repairs that seemed fair. I'll go back if I need too. Thank you Rob!

I've had a number of major and minor repairs done. They've always done us right. If they see issues they notify you of them but don't push for any repairs if you don't want to do them.

Seriously the best customer experience I've had in a long time. I've never had someone go out of my way like Rob does! And always service with a smile. Customer waiting area is super clean and comfortable. And Rob's dogs are just the best. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

This review is long overdue. Rob Rich and his team at Precision Auto Repair are a wonderful staff. Just recently Rob was able to save me $500 compared to another auto shop's quote (not located in the STMA area, closer to the cities). They always provide nothing but great explanations when something is recommended to be done to the vehicle and never pressure you to get it done. Thank you Rob and team for all that you do!

I took the old 1 Ton to these guys for an alignment and a sneaky short list of repairs. They were great to say the least. Honest, fair, educating, and the whole crew was happy to take time for whatever came their way. I watched them treat every customer with the same attitude, speed, and excitement to help anybody. There are some many details as I was their for a while hanging out.

Had a car checked out at Precision before buying it. Found out that it needed $2000 in repair to get it running right. They were fast and very thorough and did a great job of explaining the car's issues. It cost a little money but saved me $4000 in the long run! Very friendly people who made me feel very welcome and appreciated. The only reason I gave them five stars is because I couldn't give them six stars!

I appreciated the great service Rob and team gave us. We unfortunately lost our rear end at the beginning of a road trip, but these guys gave us their undivided attention to help get us on the road as fast as possible. When it was clear the repair couldn't be done in the same day they helped us with transportation so we could get an alternative vehicle. We salvaged the day and the repairs we complete upon our return. I really felt we were in good hands. Thank you
