From the simple beginnings in a backyard garage of founders Greg and Gordon Bockwinkel, the shops of Platinum Collision and Autobody have grown to become one of the foremost full-service auto body shops in northeastern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin. I had a pretty terrifying experience of a tree coming through my windshield while traveling at about 50 mph. As you can imagine, it caused quite a bit of damage. My insurance company suggested Platinum Collision and I went with their suggestion. I am so glad that I did. From beginning to end the communication and customer service were exactly what I wanted, and needed, from them.
This being my first experience with anything like this, I felt like I was heard and that my case was prioritized. I was greeted with kindness and compassion about my accident and I was explained the process and next steps that would be taken. Pat M. And Diane were helpful in answering every question, some of them more than once I'm sure. I got my truck back earlier than expected and it was cleaned up so nicely inside.
They were respectful of my property and even the cash I forgot about was still in there. The work they did was excellent and if I ever need this type of work done again, I will be calling them, for sure. I definitely recommend Platinum Collision, the entire staff have integrity and take pride in their work.

Absolutely incredible company, after I was in a crash they helped me right away, we're very friendly and got my vehicle repaired 2 days early! Pat and Ami were wonderful to work with, repairs were perfect, like it never happened, Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality collision repair center! The cookies were great too!

We're new to the area and had no idea where to go for body work after a fender-bender parking lot accident this summer. We visited a number of places and were most impressed with the Platinum facility and staff. Their estimate was thorough and in-line with the others for the same work, and on the list of approved vendors with our insurance. There were no quibbles with the estimate from our insurance company and the work was completed without additional adjustments to the estimate.
It took a while to get an appointment to do the work, but that's pretty much everywhere now. They estimated about two weeks to get the work done and they had it completed in about a week and a half. Car looks like new and they were great the whole way through.
