I had a fender bender and needed body work on my SUV. This was one of the recommended repair shop from my insurance (I turned down the first one they recommended). So glad I drove the extra 15 minutes to Phil's. They were professional, kept me updated via text and did a fantastic job on my car. The job they did was flawless and better yet, I noticed my signal light on the damaged side was not working, so I took it to them and they fixed (no questions asked). I would highly recommend in the future.

While getting into an accident is never fun, the entire team at Phil's made the entire process as painless and transparent as possible. From the beginning, they were patient in explaining the process and next steps, they helped organize a rental vehicle for me (and even drove me to the rental location to pick up the car!), they were in complete communication with me throughout the whole process, and had the work completed within a very reasonable time frame.

When I picked up my car, the work performed was done to perfection. My four-year old car looked like it was a brand new car. Scott in particular was a huge help throughout the whole process. Thanks again to the entire team at Phil's!

My monthly garage did a little something to my hood and the manager suggested I bring my car to Phil's at no cost to me. Dropped it off on one day, staff initially friendly, also asked them to check a scratch on my passenger door to see if they could fix that (at my cost). Let me just say that the hood and grill came out fine, a couple grits on enamel but it happens.

I can forgive. My con is only that they essentially dropped off and never got in touch with me. Also each time I called which was only twice, the feeling was that I was a bother. On my last call the guy told me that the car was 'being primed' and anticipated that the job would be done by the following week. I showed up to the garage and saw that they were still sanding and I was just watching from the front of the garage which took one of their's attention and he tersely directed me to the office.

I show up and they look surprised and I asked them when they anticipated completing the work, which they didn't seem interested in letting me know. They gave me a day. At that point I just left and decided to leave them alone because frankly they left me with the vibe that they would probably do something to my car or maybe just forget about it for another week (yes, that's the feeling you're giving out).

So finally returning to get my car and they walked me to my car which was parked about 200 feet from their garage with my KEY ON THE DASH AND THE CAR UNLOCKED. Maybe it's my Brooklyn living but how does that not smell like free car? I inspected front and signed the claim papers and took off just relieved to have my car back. Then it dawned on me, my passenger door! Stopped and took a look and nope not touched scratch still there. Again, in the beginning I offered to pay the cost, he said "sure" and that sounded like we had an agreement. But the work was good.

Absolutely the best service! Scott was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Very knowledgeable and professional! If I could give the painter Edgar 100 stars I would. He left my car in pristine condition. You can really tell he's an expert at what he does. Overall grateful for this experience!

I have some unfortunate things happen to both my vehicles that were out of my control but the staff and quality of work at Phil's Body Works made going through the process so much easier. I was so impressed by the quality of work and incredible customer service that I've referred all my friends there when they've had any cosmetic issues with their vehicles. I'm really happy with the service I've received here. Unfortunately I had to bring my car into the shop twice in the last 3 months but Phil's couldn't have made my experience any smoother. Both times since having the car repaired it looks beautiful and drives flawlessly. Pete, one of the service reps has been really sweet and helpful to me. Phil's body works has really helped me out and I'm eternally grateful for their wonderful customer service.

I have only great things to say about Richie, Scott and everyone who works at Phil's. They always go out of their way to meet and exceed my expectations. I am not the easiest client, I truly want our cars to come out perfect. They constantly go out of their way to make it perfect. I would, and do recommend them to everyone we know. Recently when I was in an accident and I called in to the shop, their first question was to make sure that I was ok. I'm convinced if you call any other shop they would care more about the car and the money they can make. A total 5 star experience from phone call to delivery. 2020 BMW 7 series. Rear bumper replacement. Ready 2 days early and car was spotless They made a perfect repair. Professional service.

Total professionals. For by-the-book insurance work you can't ask for a better organization. Coordinating car rental, communicating w the insurance people & keeping me updated. They were on top of it. So good on the phone! This is not the same as a Hempstead dent puller shop where you hunt for bottom dollar work. This is doing it the right way when the insurance company is footing the bill. Pete is the man!

Phil's use to be, several years back, a good shop. I doubt I will use them again. My car took over two weeks to repair, was just on the surface clean on pick up, and then they charged me the $1000 deductible despite my saying to them my insurance company told me in writing the deductible was waived. Took 30 minutes of time to get my $1000 back -- yes, they acknowledged their error, but how come their attitude was it was my error and not theirs? really?

Dropped my car off. Everything was handled to perfection. Staff was accommodating beyond belief. Owner and son were there very nice guys. Best service ever!

Nicest people to deal with. They arranged a replacement car which the insurance company covered. The car body looked perfect after these master craftsman worked on my car. Very professional, I have recommended them to friends, who were equally pleased.

Substandard, overpriced work. Keep car for days and have to bring it back. Don't stand behind their repairs. Avoid.

My mom and I have been coming here for probably 10 years. They are extremely accommodating and prompt. I was rear ended a couple of years ago in her car and brought it in immediately for an estimate. We were able to get all of the parts needed and they painted the car. The car was good as new in a few days. We had great customer service as well.
