Phil's Auto Clinic

Phil's Auto Clinic has been taking care of my vehicle for the past 11 years. They are why my 22-year-old vehicle is still on the road and running well. Phil's does excellent work, they are trustworthy and maintain fair prices.

Phil's auto clinic is excellent! They provide expert service add an affordable rate! It is very hard to find a mechanic shop that won't rip you off! These guys do great work for a reasonable price! They are helpful and easy to work with! I would highly recommend them!

Phil's Auto Clinic is amazing! We've had them do various things to our cars, but the most impressive thing has been their ability to find and fix water leaks that come from outside and leak into the cab or the trunk. A few years ago my husband had a leak that was dumping water onto the front passenger floor. After taking it to several other shops and being told it would cost quite a bit to fix (I don't remember now what the quotes were), we found Phil's from recommendations on the Nextdoor website. Phil fixed the leak and the charge was very reasonable.

This year my daughter had water leaking into her trunk. She had been told by a dealership that it would cost her over $1,000 to fix. Phil's fixed this leak for $56. And last month I discovered a leak in my car (water leaking into my back seat floor). Phil's fixed this leak for under $100. In our experience, Phil's is very reasonable, reliable, and does great work! We're so glad we found them!

I was recommended to use Phil's after my friend had recently got his new project car serviced there and he told me about the very reasonable prices and good work they do. I brought my 4runner in for a bunch of stuff that needed to be taken care of. Even during the pandemic they were able to get to my car back on time and the work that they had done was more than exceptional. Definitely bringing my car here again!

I am a very unsatisfied customer--phil's auto clinic put on a different front strut than I had asked for--very poor customer service--put in something else without consulting the customer; talked with the owner about the service performed on my vehicle;installed incorrect parts. I feel it was a bait and switch performance; owner not willing to fix the issue; wanting to charge me more money. One needs to really shop around--there was no communication and I was assured they would put in what I had requested. Very, very unhappy and disappointed.

Been a customer of Phil's for close to 30 years. They have taken care of our cars, my kids and recommended them to several friends who also have used there services. Would highly recommend them!

Excellent car service station with reasonable prices and excellent service and professional staff

After another repair place wanted to drastically overcharge me to have my radiator replaced, I reached out to Phil's and they were able to help me replace it the next day, for almost half the cost as the other place. They did an excellent job and were helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to safely move down to California the next day with my new radiator!

I have been going to Phil's for years for both my wife & my car. He has always been honest & has fixed our problems. We go for periodic maintenance & never had a major problem because he always brought everything to our attention before it became a major problem. Phil's Auto Clinic is #1 in service and customer care! I stopped at a nearby shop and got a quote yesterday. The other shop tried to add a bunch of additional work, and when I got them to give me a price for only what I needed, for the same service, the quote was still over double what I paid at Phil's today. Phil and team are genuinely committed to doing good work, they do it for a fair price, and they completed my repair in the same day. Thank you!

Recently my minivan was shaking violently when accelerating in the 45-55 mile range. We took it to a nearby mechanic to see what was wrong. He told me that three of my four engine mounts were broken, and it would be $1950 to have it fixed. Ouch! It's thirteen-years-old and not worth too much more than that. We decided to call Phil's to see what they would charge for the same repair.

Over the phone he told me the "worst case" scenario was $1200, best case was $700. Sold! I brought it in and asked that they double check before starting repairs. They called a bit later and said they thought it was the axles causing the vibration, not the engine mounts, and the repair would be $400-$500. I was skeptical, since the previous guy was so certain, and was worried we'd spend the $500 and still have a shaking car, but I was reassured over the phone the engine mounts were okay and it was the axles. Lo and behold, Phil's was right, my van no longer shakes, and I saved almost $1500. Thank you!

Phil and his team are fantastic! I own custom made exotic replica vehicles and hotrods that I cannot get anyone else to even work on. Phil completely goes over every car I buy doing safety checks on the important parts to make sure they are reliable and safe to drive. When I need service on them - they provide expert advice and quality of work at very fair prices.

We couldn't be more pleased. We got a quote elsewhere for replacing the clutch on our son's car and were told it would cost at least $1300 and that 8 hours of labor would be needed. Phil's estimated 5 hours labor and approximately $850 for the same thing. The car barely made it to the shop it was in such bad shape. Phil's diagnosed and fixed the problem, replaced the clutch and redid the flywheel all for $910. The car drives great now and we saved at least $400. Thank you Phil's!

Dropped off my car because the check engine light was on. They always called me if they were going to do any tests or do anything that might be an additional charge so I really appreciated that. The prices are fair and they provided excellent service. Definitely recommend their services.

I had my wheel bearings replaced as well as an upper control arm. The bearings were installed incorrectly and the bolts on the control arm were left loose. The garage I took it to to correct Phil's mistakes (I noticed the play in the wheel bearings)said that it would have been only a matter of time before the control arm on the front end came loose with disastrous results. I wouldn't trust this guy to work on a skate board much less a car.

Phil's auto clinic has done a great job with my Honda CRV. They charge to diagnose, but they're worth it and they're fair on price.

This is a perfect example of a fair and competent small business. Great and valued service and a feeling of concern for customers. Work has always been well explained and completed in fair and timely fashion!

Ive been going to Phils Auto for over 15 years and never had an issue. They are honest, knowledgeable and friendly.

Kept my brother car for over 3 months to rebuild the engine and charged over $4,500. Left us with a car that doesn't run. Dangerous to even try to drive because it overheats and shuts down. The owner promised to pay for the repairs elsewhere becasue he could not fix the problem after taking my $4,570. Now he is refusing to do so. He is a complete liar.

He keeps promising to fit it himself and takes the car for more time and leaves us with a car that's dangerous to drive every time. I will be contacting the BBB if he doesn't refund the money. Stay clear of this place. seriously. He probably can fix minor issues without problems but he has no business taking cars for 3 plus months and rebuilding an engine if he doesn't know how.

Tried on friend's recommendation for wheel bearing issue. When i picked up the truck, something was not right so i called and they came out to my house, looked at it right there in the driveway, and took it back to correct. Turns out the new wheel bearing (replacement) was faulty. No excuses, no BS, no blame on some other system that needed to be fixed - straight up owned it and made it right. Good Stuff.

I just took my 2007 Camry into Phil's. I wanted a tune up before I sold the car and to check out an occasional clicking noise I heard. During the quick diagnostic, Phil thought it was the water pump. But before he replaced the pump and charged me for it, he looked at every other possible cause of the sound. He then found that the radiator was getting old and recommended changing that.

He double checked the water pump, and it was fine. Phil could have easily said "oh it is the radiator and the water pump" and charged me double, but he did not take advantage of me. He even took me into his shop to explain why my radiator had gone bad. He was very informative. The price was fair, and he didn't charge me for the extra labor it took him to check out everything else. You can trust taking your car to Phil's!

Phil and his team are the best auto repair shop around. my sister and I and also my mother take all our vehicles to him. he has the best service and the most affordable prices you will ever find he is excellent

I've gone to Phil for 13 years. Twice I have tried to find someone a little closer to our house (we only have one care so dropping it off can be hard) and were extremely disappointed. His work has always been friendly, high quality, honest, and very reasonably priced. If there has ever been a follow up issue, he takes care of it in a timely manner and (if it's a result of the work) without charge. He's a great mechanic and I've referred many friends to him. They are all very satisfied as well.

I've got older cars with high mileage. Invariably issues come up. Although they are busy, they're pretty honest about their schedule. If they say they can get to it, they do. They can usually get to it within the next day or so. The work has been solid. No complaints about anything they've done. I like the fact that they never seem to be on a fishing expedition looking for issues to inflate my bill. Finally the bill. I have always left feeling like I've been charged a fair price.

Great guy. Friendly, courteous, and seems very honest. He did a last minute oil change for me even though he was close to closing time and 2 guys were off due to pending xmas weekend. Charged me a good price banking on me returning for future services. Found my local trustworthy mechanic. Will definitely be back.
