Had a battery problem for a few months, taking it to Les Schwab to check. All 3 times they said the battery was fine. The last time I was not happy with that answer, so the girl at the desk gave me the number of Paul's Automotive Repair Center. I called him right then. He looked at my car as soon as I could get it there. Indeed it was a 6 year old battery in need of replacement. He fixed it on the spot, quite a bit cheaper than I had been quoted elsewhere. He seems very honest and helpful. I would highly recommend this business!

Took my suv for AC service, they explained the process clear and simple, at very reasonable price. AC works very well and ice cold. Great work!

I've been having my motorhome and Honda pilot repaired at Paul's for 4 plus years. Always excellent service and value. They are very adept as finding parts for older motorhomes. Service: General repairs & maintenance

Paul agreed to take my RV and service it. I drove it to the shop. 2 weeks later I called for status and they had not begun working on it! Bottom line it took 6 weeks to have them do the work. Poor communication and poor turnaround time. Not going there again.

Very satisfied with with the customer service and the work. Called the shop first thing in the morning, they had space and time to take my car in. Were able to diagnose my problem, and solve it. had my car back to normal, and back to me at the end of the same day.

So far the best car repair experience I've had since moving to the area a couple years ago! Quick turn around time and great service! Getting a vehicle repaired is never great but I'm thankful to have the work done quickly and to go to a business that truly cares about the customers! Will definitely refer all my friends and family!

I am so thankful I found this place! In the past I have not had great luck with having people work on my car. Well I have found a great place! I had my AC repaired here, and it is colder than ever. I had my timing belt replaced here, my car ran smoother than ever. This is a wonderful, family owned business! Two thumbs up!

Came for a broken rubber seal on my transfer case. Was told since it's "GM" they would only do the work if I replaced the entire transfer case. $2,500-$3,500. I said I just needed the seal fixed. Was then advised to go else were for my work to be done. A-1 Transmission fixed it for $250. Take this info as you will, but I didn't get the "honest" vibe from them.

I took my 2011 Challenger SRT8 to Paul's for some preventative maintenance; they told me some of the maintenance that I wanted to have done wasn't necessary based on the low mileage of my car. I appreciate the honesty, the fair prices, and the friendly staff. Honest car repair shops are hard to find. I just had the cooling system flushed and refilled, but I'll be bringing all of my other vehicles to Paul's when they're up for maintenance or repair.

Do not take your car here. We took in our old dodge we have been working on to get a quote on what things could be done to make it run reliably. They quoted us $4,500 for a lot of crap we didn't need. It just needed to run stronger and more reliably. wasn't trying to get it cherry or anything. So we said no thanks and paid them their fee to look at it. Well, now the truck is running worse than ever (backfiring, not wanting to start) not to mention the hose to the master brake cylinder was not reattached so we basically drove back with NO BRAKES. It left shittier than it came in. I will never, ever call them again. After all that progress we made with it. now it won't even stay on.

I have taken several cars here and I have had nothing but excellent service. Many shops will talk to a woman like they dont know anything about cars but they dont do that here. I also like that its the same guys all the time and they really seem to take pride in their workmanship. Five stars from this gal!

Just had my 2009 Mini Cooper repaired here and had an excellent experience. I called and talked to Jason, who was very professional. He was knowledgeable, helpful, easy to talk to. He gave me all the information. I needed, and said I could come in same day and they would diagnose it in a few hours. Well, indeed they did ( a spark plug wire had gone bad) and in the course of the service they kept me informed and called to authorize service at every step.

They had it done the next morning when the parts came in, which was as good as one could ask. As to the poster who said not to go here, don't listen to him. I almost did, but when I called and talked to Jason it was clear he knew what he was talking about. The service was excellent in all respects, and the price was reasonable for what they did.

Not much going on here. Nice guys, but not fast. I'm sure you get great service if you have the time to wait for them to get around to your vehicle or if you know somebody there.

Long story short: Got oil change. After a week my brake fluid was spilling onto my garage floor. Did they cut my brake lines? So dangerous if I decided to drive my car days after the oil change. I would not recommend Paul's Automotive.

Quoted $280 so went with them. Got a phone call after dropping my car off and they said it was going to cost an extra $100, well what was I going to do say no? They already had my car so I said fine whatever do it. But I will not be back again and I will not recommend them to anyone. The work was fine but the price was not. Don't quote somebody and than call half way through the work and say it's going to cost more.

I recently had a catalytic converter installed at Brentwood muffler shop was quoted a price and it ended up taking longer and being more work than they expected but they did not charge me extra since the misquote was on them! Would give 1 star but the work was good so I gave it 2.

They know what they are doing. Knowledgeable mechanics are hard to find nowadays. They took care of my problem which is unique to a Subaru while I waited. Service was completed in a reasonable time and at a reasonable cost. I will be bringing my other cars here.

My mother had to do a Timing Belt repair on her car and she felt comfortable with this place after speaking with Dave, my car was also not starting and was in the parking lot of another mechanic shop 5 miles away awaiting a diagnostic. Because my Mother felt so trusting instead of getting my diagnosis elsewhere I towed my car to Pauls for a diagnostic. 24 hours later I was told that my starter was bad and it would cost me $564!

Meanwhile I do my research and I am well aware the part is only $80 at max. So I tell them it is ok, I will tow my car home. When I pick up my car I pay the standard diagnostic fee, Jason tells me that he had to unplug the battery because it was smoking when connected to the starter. AAA comes to tow my car away and i tell him the key is in the car.

When I finally get in my car at home I try to get my key and it is stuck in the ignition, also nothing works because the battery is unplugged. So I cant get my key out and I cant pop my trunk which is where the BATTERY IS! No one at Pauls told me that my key was stuck in the car or that I would not have access to the trunk. They obvisouly didnt know either that once the trunk closed after the Battery was disconnected that it (the trunk) would no longer open. I am HIGHLY dissapointed in this place! First I am significantly overcharged and then I have NO electric access to my car to even fix it!

Wish i could give negative stars. Do not use this company, i repeat do not use. Had a check engine light on my 1999 chevy tahoe. I paid him to do a diagnostic test which should only take an hour. But he had my truck for about three days, said his guy wasnt in yet. When i finally get the call to come in he says there was a compression leak in one of the cylinders.

Which i never believed. But I ended up selling the truck for 900. And I told the person what hr said. Later. the person who bought the truck. two days later told me all he changed was two oxygen sensors and guess what the check engine light went off also it passed with flying colors. Moral of the story he lied. And i lost out on about 3000 dollars.

I waited a week and never received a phone call! That conclusively proves the immoral integrity of the owner and his employees.

I've brought my cars to Paul's now for a few different repairs and I would say that they provide an excellent service. All my repairs were done quickly and throughly at a good price. Beyond the repairs, everyone I have had the pleasure to work with at Paul's are good guys. I will definitely work with them in the future and refer anyone who needs one.

Limped my car in with the transmission that was grinding when shifting, talked with Dave who said it sounds like the clutch was probably worn out & that they'd take a look at it. I also said that for a while now, my front right tire has been clicking when turning corners, he said that it could be a CV joint, but would look & call me. Turns out I did need a new clutch which they installed and that the clicking was not my CV joint but was a loose shock mount that they tightened with new locking washers for no cost. Got my car back & running perfectly & MORE CLICKING.

I appreciate that they do good work at a good price & that they are an HONEST shop. I've had my other car worked on here several times over the years & it's always been a positive experience & figured it was time I gave them a big thumbs up on yelp!

Called for an estimate to do regular maintenance, oil- filer change, plugs and wires, cap and roader and air filter. they told me they could not estimate over the phone and to bring in the vehicle. I dropped it off on a Monday and on Tuesday I called to see if they had and estimate ready, they said no, so I asked when they might be able to give me an idea of a price, they could not even give me and idea of how long until the estimate would be ready I said maybe tomorrow? he said I have no IDEA WHEN IT WILL HAVE A PRICE FOR YOU, SO I said how about it call you back Friday afternoon again they said no idea when they could give me a price it all started to seem a little fishy.

I'm talking about a basic tune up no surprises nothing is wrong with the vehicle. I came in with a list of things I wanted done. 1 oil change 2 cap and roader 3 plugs and wires. "basic tune up". so on Wednesday they called to let me know how much. I was blow away to here they wanted over 900.00 for a tune up. I told them it was way to much and I would pick up my vehicle that day. when I went to pick it up they demanded 126.00 for a vehicle inspection? what did you inspect? all I wanted was a tune up? the man proceeded to tell me he had hours invested in figuring out how much it would cost. bottom line be prepared to pay for nothing. I drove off with nothing done and paid 126.00.
