The mechanic shop I've been waiting for all my life. These guys are honest, do good work and know what they're doing. You can tell a good shop when they're backed up for a while to get you in.

I have taken several vehicles here. They are always busy. They do a thorough inspection, and look at everything that needs work. They are fine letting you do your own work, if you want. They are very friendly and helpful.

Super fast and friendly staff- I will continue to come here year after year.

I have a Pontiac Grand Prix GXP with the LS4 V8 engine. I needed to have a new engine installed. After obtaining the new to me engine. Paul's deleted all the DOD stuff (active fuel management in GM speak) replaced it with my dod delete kit from Texas Speed. They had the heads rebuilt. Matt did an awesome job tuning the car. It is a beast. Jeff was great and communicated with me when other problems arose. I cannot recommend them enough. They are busy because they are good.

Drop my car off the morning of my appointment, went over the todo list with Jeff. He called me that afternoon with a status update. Car was repaired and ready for pick up the next day. They were thorough, reasonable priced and professional. FYI, they are booking appointments for a couple weeks out, but well worth the wait.

Hands down the best when it comes to working on older vehicles. Honest, fair. When I was told there was nothing left my mechanics could do to help my jeep. These guys fixed it like it was just another day. They even improved the steering. Im so glad I found pauls.

I'm not typically one to leave reviews, but I felt I needed to for Paul's. I moved into the area 4 years ago and started taking my cars here for all general maintenance and repairs. I will never take my cars anywhere else as long as I can help it. This is hands down the most honest, up front, and respectable repair shop I have ever experienced. They never try to upsell or get pushy. They are happy to diagnose anything and explain to you what is going on with your vehicle. These 5 star reviews are no joke. This is the best shop in the Salt Lake Valley.

I found these guys a couple of years ago by asking for the name of a reputable mechanic at a local parts store. The guy was right, they are great! Nobody loves paying for truck repairs, but I have driven away with a smile, every time I have used Paul's. They are always polite, respectful and honest. I recommend them to all my friends and family. The work is top notch and the price is always fair. I've had them do small and large jobs. 6 Stars! Just picked my truck up and smiled the whole way home. Thanks, it's a pleasure doing business with you guys!

A business run by brothers doing their absolute best to serve their customers well! We were in town from Chicago when we ran into problems with our vehicle, these issues made driving home dangerous. Jeff rearranged schedules to take care of us that day so we could be on our way before the forecasted snow began to fall. These brothers are strait up, genuine, good ol' boys who really care about their customers and it shows.

I know they were super busy and it wasn't easy to get us taken care of in the time frame we needed, but they did. We appreciate you all very much, thank you for being so awesome, we are currently on our way home!

Jeff was great. Have an older RV based on a Ford E-450 chassis. A/C was cutting out of vents on hill climbs. He knew exact issue. Someone else had done a less than skilled fix but these guys worked with it and made efficient, cost effective fixes. Passed the test of driving up to Park City from SLC. So nice to have constant a/c. Very fair pricing Highly recommend.

I haven't used them for any service, but just wanted to leave a review of my experience with them. I was going to fly out to UT from CO to purchase a used LX470 from a local dealer and called Paul's to see if they could do a pre-purchase vehicle inspection. I called on Thursday and spoke with Jeff and he was SUPER nice and even though they were booked out for a few weeks, he was going to sneak me in on Monday given the fact it was time sensitive and I was flying out.

I ended up getting pictures of the vehicle from the dealer and it was too rusted for my liking so I had to cancel the inspection. but can't say enough about the customer service from Jeff just from a few phone calls. He even took a little time to give me advice on selecting vehicles and things to look out for in regards to rust. Thank you, Jeff! If I find another vehicle in Salt Lake City or ever need any service while passing through, I'm coming to you guys! Brandon

First off I'd give you more if I could. I have never met a more honest mechanic in my life. My mom started going to him when I lived in SoCal and he always treated her honestly. After I moved back here I started using him as well. I have taken my car in a few times for minor issues, no biggie but this week was the icing on the cake. So I went to leave work a werk or so ago and my car wouldn't start, got a jump and headed home.

As I exited the freeway it died again, thank goodness only 2 blocks from my house. Bought a new battery and was told by 4 people(3 in the automotive industry)that with it dieing like that I needed a new alternator(I even had O'Reilly's check it & they said it was bad). I called the dealership and it was going to be $1,200.00 (you have to basically pull the whole front end off my car). Jeff at Paul's told me $800.00 so I booked an appointment.

I dropped my car off and the next morning I got a call from Jeff stating the alternator was fine. We went through a few questions and he told yup, the alternator tested good. He said he would only charge me for diagnosing my car which I said, absolutely. You just saved me $750.00. $50.00 is a small price to pay for peace of mind. Yes, he could have gone ahead and done the work and charged me or even not have done it and charged me. I would have never known, but he did the honest and honorable thing and was truthful. Only gripe I would have is he's so good it's hard to get an appointment.

Excellent service. I brought my truck to install a leveling kit, and they did so in a timely manner and at a competitive price. I felt a few days later my car was shaking a little bit, so I called them immediately and they were ready to take care of it immediately, no questions asked. I haven't taken in back because I don't feel it shaking any longer, but feel confident they will respond immediately if something were to come up again. It's a good they give that peace of mind. Thanks Matt and Jeff Update: Been there a few more times to do some more things in my truck. They are simply a great team.

The BEST car shop! Honesty, integrity, craftsmanship, that's what this shop is all about. They never steer you wrong. I took all three of my cars there. I've since moved to Texas and I honestly miss this place! My kid stayed behind and she still gets her Toyota serviced here. It's a no frills, one stop repair shop. You drop off your vehicle and pick it up and drive off with ease of mind it was fixed correctly, the first time. I can't say enough good things about this place.
