After having my '06 Mustang fail on me on the highway, due to clutch issues, I was able to tow it to this place and they got it up and running in no time. Great service, friendly staff, and constant communication throughout. Definitely one of the better experiences I've had with an auto shop.

After a bad experience with another Transmisson shop that butchered my transmission on my 2007 Ford F-150 and several other attempts from other shops to correct the bad rebuild trans. Joe Immediately diagnosed the issue and repaired, no issues until truck was sold. Very honest and professional, highly recommend. Kirk Davidson

We just moved in to the area from New York State and were fortunate to find PCT Automotive repair to service and repair our 2 Audis. The first service was a full brake job on our A3--perfectly done and reasonably priced. Joe knows his way around cars and is trustworthy. We then drove in with a nail in one of our tires. Joe repaired the flat tire and refused to charge us for the work--I hope he can stay in business with this kind of policy; we're going to need his expertise in the future.

Joe and crew are life savers! They replaced the transmission in my Ford Explorer years ago and did a great job. So when I started having issues with my Hyundai Sante Fe, I had to have Joe look at it. He was as friendly as he was years ago, and immediately available to diagnose my truck. He urged us to look into the warranty and have the dealer fix it - and he was right. Class act!

Joe Siguro is THE BEST. DO NOT GO TO GERMAN TRANSAXLE IN BEND OREGON. Nobody works on transmissions for under $90/hr and you definitely can't remove and replace a transmission for $500. It is MUCH more than that. I'm trying to keep this short and to the point. I purchased a rebuilt trans from GTA and drove my VW Eurovan RV (see photo) to the east coast to visit my mom and my 90 year old grandparents.

By the time I got from California to New Jersey the transmission failed. A bearing started making an incredible grinding noise and was getting louder and louder every mile. So there I was, stuck in Jersey in the middle of the winter. I exhausted a multitude of expensive transport options. I needed to swap the faulty transmission for a new one. The most logical option was to have GTA send a new one to a shop in Jersey and to send the old one back. GTA absolutely WOULD NOT send me a new transmission until they had the old one in their possession. (?) It made me feel like they didn't trust that I would give them my old core back?

What do I know? I don't know how things go in the world of used transmissions. At any rate, no shop in Jersey was going to let my RV sit on their lift for 3 weeks while I shipped the old one and waited for a new one. Every shop reasoned that an immobilized lift would cost them thousands of $$ and apparently you can't just take out the transmission and move the vehicle off the lift, because the transmission bolts into the sub-frame and things get real loosey-goosey when you take the transmission out.

My other option was to flatbed my RV from coast to coast. The cost for that is astronomical. I didn't have an extra $10,000 laying around. I seriously thought I was going to lose my RV ($30,000). I ended up ditching my plan to see family and had to limp my RV to a storage yard and fly home ($400) to CA and get back to work. 2 months later I formed a plan that I think no sane person in their 40's would do.

I talked to Joe at PCT whom I had talked to previously and asked him if he would help me save my RV. Joe thought I was crazy but he was aware of my position. He said he didn't want to see me lose my RV and if I really was going to do it, he would let my vehicle sit on his lift for 8 days, no charge. Anyways, I flew back to Jersey ($400), rented a car, put the old transmission in the back of the rental and drove and slept next to a transmission on the side of the interstate for 8 days (see photo) from Jersey to Bend and back to Jersey. ($800 rental + 7,000+/- miles of fuel) GTA inspected and agreed that their product failed.

They said they weren't going to charge me the $1100 +/- for the damaged parts but they WERE going to deduct the mileage I put on the old transmission from the new transmission's warranty. (?) I was really surprised when they told me they could charge me. The owner helped me load the new transmission into my vehicle and after seeing my sleeping bag next to it, laughingly said "now, get to work".

I then drove all the way back across the United States. This an unemotional, factual account of a 5 month ordeal from me finding GTA online, getting my old transmission replaced with them, having the new transmission fail, almost losing my RV and, against all odds, figuring out a solution. Like I told GTA, if I owned their company, I would have sent my customer a new transmission without question right away and done everything in my power to make it right.

I guess since they have the market cornered on the west coast, they don't really have to worry about that. Either way, my experience with GTA was costly, frustrating and time consuming. (I didn't include the $$ I lost taking time off of work to perform this insane task either) I don't hold grudges, but as a consumer, I feel it my duty to unemotionally relay to other consumers the facts here. Don't take your transmission to GTA. TAKE YOUR TRANSMISSION TO JOE AT PCT TRANSMISSIONS. BETTER PRICE, BETTER WARRANTY, GUARANTEED

I had an amazing experience with this shop. They installed a Magnuson Supercharger on my Tundra - and for a fair and reasonable price. The truck runs perfectly, and the performance is amazing. Eric even took the time to take photos of the progress. I highly recommend PCT and will be taking my other vehicles (both performance and daily drivers) to them in the future.

This is my automotive repair shop period! Joe and Eric are incredibly knowledgeable and are very fair with parts and labor. I had some ignition work done on my 2006 Milan with 200K+ miles on it. The 'book' said 3 hours for the job and Joe did it in 2 hours! And charged me for 2 hours! Awesome! See if that is true in a dealership or 'big box' repair shop.

With many shops recommending work that really doesn't need to done immediately, this shop will point out possible issues and no strong arm tactics to do the work and let the owner decide the course of action. This allows the owner to be made aware of a future issue and perhaps budget to do the repair at a later date. I think a fabulous service. This shop only uses OEM parts so you can be sure that the part is correct and will operate to the manufacturers specifications. Check this shop out for your next repair. I don't think you will be disappointed.

My car would not shift out of 1st gear. Was told not to drive and get to a transmission shop ASAP! PCT was local and I had vague memories of good reports when they were based in Wayne. Joe and Erick treated me like I was a life long customer! My car had many issues but they worked through them with professionalism and attention to my finances. Constantly kept me updated on the progress and my options. Was pleasantly surprised by the final bill after the car was fixed. Great folks, great work and a wonderful respect for their customers!

I will never go to the Audi dealership again we finally found a Excellent shop. Wayne area that knows what they are doing. Erik one of The Partner s Worked for Audi for 20 years. Erik Discovered several minor vacuum leak issues with my 2006 A4 and that was turning on the service light .At the Audi Stealership they told me I would need a new motor for 7000.00 Dollars or I can talk to someone in the sales department about buying a new Audi. Well PCT Automotive ended up Fixing the problem for 225.00 This was my first time here and everything I saw inspires complete confidence in them. I will Be Coming back

Joe at the shop offers great service with the heart of a teacher. He took the time to go over his inspection with me and educate me about what he'd found. He also gave me some good tips to maintain my new (used) BMW. Prices were fair. He also took my car in at short notice, in the middle of a Nor'easter. Thank you!
