We have single bearings and seals or packaged kits. We carry only American Made, high quality Timkin bearings and seals, for all common applications, and have many others available to order. Our kits are very complete, unlike the kits you may get at an auto parts store, our kits have set up shims, loctite, RTV, ring gear bolts, and gear marker for checking a pattern.
Make sure that you have all the parts and tools you will need. The extent of disassembly depends on the job being done and the inspection findings. Lift the vehicle using an appropriate lift or a jack and safe jack stands. Always make certain that the vehicle is safely supported before working underneath.
Whirring noise only while decelerating at any or all speeds is most likely caused by bad pinion bearings or loose pinion bearing preload, and almost never by bad ring and pinion gears. A howl or whine during acceleration over a small or large speed range is usually caused by worn ring and pinion gears or improper gear set up.

Paid $1300 to have my differential rebuilt. 2 weeks later my axle was leaking on both ends. I called and they said they would not cover it. I took it to my mechanic and he saw the axle o rings had been busted AFTER their work(I've never had a leak until I brought it to them). A Couple months later now and my differential is shot and they aren't going to cover it. If you are looking for differential repair stay far away. They don't return phone calls either. All around horrible experience and a total waste of $1300
