Tim Paap, owner of Paap Auto Body, started his business in 2001. He is from Charleston, IL, enjoys playing with his dog, and considers himself a food connoisseur. He has one son Zack, who also works at Paap Auto Body as an advanced technician. Tim enjoys drag racing with Zack. Tim says there's nothing better than seeing your son excel at something you can do together.

Don't be steered into another accident by your insurance company or the other parties' insurance company. Did you know some insurance companies have ownership in some shops? Makes you wonder who the customer really is. Paap Auto Body does not participate in many of the repair networks because of the concessions or stipulations in the contracts which generally leads to a lower cost/lower quality repair. We believe we have a responsibility to the vehicle owner, who is ultimately our customer, not the insurance company.
Had my bumper replaced on my truck, picked it up after hours and it was washed, waxed, tires and rims cleaned and polished, vacuumed, and had a few complimentary gifts. Great work and they went the extra mile! I just got my Tahoe back from getting some body work done after an accident, & I could not be any happier!

This is the second vehicle that PAAP has fixed for me. I am very satisfied with their professionalism. The vehicles looked brand new and no matter how dirty it was when I took it in. Estimate was sent promptly to me for insurance claim. No issues with insurance claim thanks to detailed quote. Used loaner car and car was repaired and returned on day promised. Kelly provided updates as the repairs were made. They cleaned inside of my car too before it was returned. Entire team was friendly and the extended business hours a major plus for working individuals.

I have been to Paap Auto Body in the past because of the excellent work they do. My vehicle was returned back to me in perfect condition like it was when I bought it. It may not be the cheapest place to go, but if you want it done right, take it to Paap Auto Body. The loner car offered there was the best.

Great to work with. Made it easy working with the insurance and there was little work that I had to do with the estimate or adjustments to the estimate. I was always kept in the loop and informed of any changes. Great at answering any questions I had and showing me the progress of the truck in the shop. Will do business with Paap again as my first choice.
