We provide complete automotive repair for your Japanese car. This means that if it is broken, we can fix it. We perform virtually all repairs in house. The only exception is body and paint repair. I went to Orient thinking I had a mechanical issue. However it turned out to be a problem with my tires instead, the wonderful team was able to make that diagnosis very quickly and point me in the right direction. I can't express enough how helpful and wonderful the team of folks I spoke with was there. I greatly appreciate the help and speed of diagnosis, any repairs I need done in the future I will try and get done here first!

Have been using Orient for many years for both our original owner vehicles -- a 96 Toyota T100 and a 99 Lexus ES300, with almost 750K miles between them. Tom was great tp deal with, and now Mark and Donna take excellent care of us. They are honest and committed to fixing any issue we have had, and with all the miles we have racked up, the issues can be numerous.
Both Mark and Donna go the extra mile to find the correct OE 25 year old parts, which is much appreciated. They also respect the fact we have reliable older cars we care about. Great customer service and fast work. Would like to give 5 stars but have less faith in the tech after hearing recommend work. Quoted for bleeding clutch system. The particular car I had does not have a hydraulic clutch system. As a tenured Asian vehicle repair shop this seems like a major oops. With so many shops getting bad reputations for quoting un-needed repairs I can't help but wonder what the outcome would have been if I said, "yes, please bleed the clutch". Honestly had a good experience but shines light on the fact that you need to ask questions and understand the work being done to your car. Don't always trust the "experts".

Donna and the staff at Orient Auto replaced the head gasket on my Subaru Outback. She promised me I'd have my car back in 3-5 days and they put it right in the middle! Plus, the tech did little things like adjusting the headlights and vacuuming the passenger compartment, I'm very, very happy with the quality of work and the professionalism exhibited by all the staff. Orient Auto is my mechanic.

Competent and trustworthy are the two words I would describe Orient Auto Service. I had my Subaru looked at by two prior auto repair shop mechanics and they could not determine the issue--so I was hesitant to move forward with either of them. I took it to Orient and they identified the issue pretty quickly. After the replacement part came in, I had my car back in a day. I'm glad I took my Subaru to Orient Auto Service. They had a different diagnosis than the previous mechanics my car is running as good as new.

This was my first time going here to get my suspension checked. Sway bar endlinks loose to strut I can't figure out so I went here to get it fix since it's close where I live. Service was done quick and affordable (cheap) and if I go somewhere else they probably gonna say something that isn't necessary just to get some money from the customer but this place is the best place and they're honest and I'm hoping to get same services if ever something wrong with my car that I can't figure out.
Will definitely recommend this place to my family. They even vacuumed my front carpets since it has a lot of needles from the tree and I didn't notice at first. Thanks for the great service

JUST PLAIN WOW! I've been looking for a different auto repair and service shop for my 'vintage' 4Runner. My son recommended Orient Auto Service and what a great choice! Besides being friendly and personable, the owner gave me a ride back-and-forth during the day and a half my rig was being serviced. They were so honest with me that I was almost shocked.
Unfortunately these days you just don't see that much anymore. The work they performed is top quality and I couldn't ask for better. I'm so glad I have found a new home for my vehicle and it feels like two new friends too! Thank you Donna and Mark and your skilled technicians!

Completely honest, straightforward and trustworthy. I have had my vehicles serviced at Orient Auto Service for 10 years. Donna and Mark, and Connie and Tom before them, have always been honest and forthright. The work performed by Luis and Pat and the new tech (whose name I'm ashamed I don't know) has always been top notch. All of the folks at Orient Auto Service are completely trustworthy.
With Orient, I don't need to worry about paying for something I don't need and they will be honest and straightforward about the things I do need. If you're looking for an honest mechanic that's not going to fleece you, this is the place.

Orient Auto has taken care of my car for 10 years. Excellent service every time I've been there. They have always been honest, upfront and really nice to work with. My car has 138,000 miles on it and I expect they will keep it running for many miles in the future. We have a Dodge 1500 and didn't realize that the company primarily works with foreign cars. That said, when I called Mark said he would gladly take a look and see why it wouldn't pass DEQ. They got us in within 3 days, were great at communicating their findings, and told us exactly what the problem was. They even pointed out a couple of things not related to emissions.
I had called some other shops and was quoted 125 just for a diagnostic check. We were charged half that at Orient. So grateful for their prompt work, kindness and professionalism. We would highly recommend this service to anyone. Bonus: they have a secure gated area for overnight vehicles.

I have been taking our vehicles to Orient Auto Service for over 20 years. Always honest, efficient and thorough. Family owned business that has built it's reputation on being trustworthy. Tom and Carol set the bar pretty high. Since Tom's son Mark and his wife Donna have taken over the business they have taken things to an even higher level of customer service.
There is no up selling. Clear communication of options & cost before they proceed. Orient Auto has my highest recommendation! No dealer run around & unnecessary repairs. They took the time to make me aware of what was wrong with my car, discuss the costs with me and work with the fact I have a hearing loss and preferred written information so that I did not misunderstand the information. I loved being included in the decision process for my decisions instead of they have my car and a going to do a half way job so I will return as I have experienced with other shops. I will definitely be returning to them for any future work needed and will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

These guys go above and beyond in service. I bring my WRX here then I moved and had been going to another mechanic in Portland. When I had some questionable work done I was glad to see these guys opened earlier than before. I brought my car in and they did my brakes and oil. Reasonably priced. They also explained what may have happened with the prior service. "We believe in nice" big box dealership is such a sham. If you need a knowledgable mechanic that doesnt break the bank. Look no further. Orient Auto is great!

First time I've been there I've seen the sign from the side of the road my Honda blew a radiator I was driving it hot I thought I might have wasted my head gasket too had the car towed there they put a new Radiator in the car tested the pressure and came to the conclusion I did not need a head gasket I really appreciated the honesty lots of shops would have sold you anything to make money definitely will use them again and recommend them to anybody who needs a mechanic
