Olin Mott Tire Stores

So I bought a groupon to this place because its only about 12-15 minutes from my work place in Brandon. I live in Largo, FL. Due to my work hours and living in Largo and working in Brandon its really hard for me to find a place open on my time off. My solution is find a place close to work as most nights I work until 4pm so I could be at a place by 4:30pm. Seemed simple enough to me.

Boy was I wrong. I thought well if I like them I'll just use them and it will work out. I only needed tires rotated and an oil change. I called and made and appointment for a Friday and I had to cancel because our entire office wound up with COVID. I hadn't tested yet but I kind of knew or at least suspected. Two weeks later I'm better.

Third week I called to make another Friday appointment because Fridays I typically can leave work at 2 - 2:30 pm. But not that often I have to kind of plan for it. The reason I settled on Friday is when I originally called I was told they don't take people at 4:30 because they close at 5:30. I understood what he was saying and was like ok I can work this out.

So I choose Fri. However, I've gone to places that close at 5:30 and they happily take me at 4:30. I just can't get to them from Brandon in time or I would. So kind of a bs line to me. When I called to schedule again the guy was like well I can schedule you but you still might have to wait. I was like why? I mean I'm calling a week ahead of time for a 2:30 spot.

He argued and talked over me the entire time so much I'm not sure if dipshxx ever heard anything I was saying! He was like come on a Saturday. I can't. Why not? Its none of your business dude I can't. Why would I have to wait for 2-3 hours when I made an appointment? OH yeah someone might show up before me. So appointments do not mean a darn thing.

Not sure why he is even making them. Then he was like well you might need tires or brakes. I said I don't I need an oil change and my tires rotated. I asked about balancing he wanted to charge me $60. NEVER have I ever been charged when having a service done and NEVER have I paid $60 are you freaking kidding me? At most it should be is $20. I would have paid 20-30 because of the groupon.

His reasoning we had to buy weights. I said oh yea I get it. I'm thinking idiot do people really fall for that? You aren't buying them for my car and never using them again. Seriously! That is like saying here I had to buy a wrench so I have to charge you another $40 so I can use it! For every customer when the wrench didn't cost more than $10.

Then he argued with me and said well you are only 15 minutes away come early and we will drive you to work. I'm like no. Not happening. First off your con on the balancing doesn't encourage me to leave my car alone with you and to come up with a bunch of crap wrong with it taht isn't wrong with it. No reason it should take 3 hours unless you have gone to walmart because they have 2 bays and you have 8.

Still wouldn't stop talking over me. Because you are going to make me wait 2-3 hours because other people might come in how long do you think I'd have to wait to get my ride to work? Oh and by the way I get to work at 7 and that is when you open so what are you saying I might get lucky and get there by 8? I don't think so, so again no I can't.

I won't. Plus I ride another person with me to work so no again I'm not going to do that. They lost my trust on the onset. So my question for all of you does someone need a groupon? $25 and its all yours! I will not be going here and groupon only cares about the money and won't refund me. I don't think it hurts to ask since it appears so many people actually like these con artists.

I showed up with no appointment and they replaced a flat tire quickly. They were all respectful and professional!

Oil change and tire rotation. Reasonable price. Good service.

Always friendly and efficient. They make sure your car is taken care of without any extra nonsense.

I can not say enough good things about this tire store. I have been coming here since they were recommended to me when I got a nail tire of the car I just purchased. I most recently purchased a full set of tires that I was definitely due for. Their prices are the same as Costco and the got me in much quicker. They have always treated super well, their customer service something you will not get at one of those big stores. They have never made me feel pressured to purchase something I don't feel I need. I will definitely always return.

We had all 6 of our class A RV tires replaced with Michelin 275/80R 22.5 5H MSPN 66205 4/26/21. Karl was awesome, he know RV's. We went through the FMCA tire discount program, they are very familiar with it. We did a lot of mountain climbing last year. Thank you for making this large important purchase go so easy!

These guys fit me in last minute to plug a tire that I had a screw in. They were professional, friendly, and affordable. Kudos to Karl at Olin Mott Tire, he was extremely kind. Visiting a tire store alone as a female he made me feel comfortable and at home.

Awsome bunch of people. Karl has always been great! Joseph did an awsome job for us and he was so tolerant of my jokes and poking fun with him. Great personality. And his partner Adonis was also great! Always happy to see everybody there and they have always done a great job for us!

Hands down, best shop in Tampa and surrounding areas. Great customer service and technicians. The manager, Randy took excellent care of everything with no issues. made me feel as if I was family from the moment I walked through the door. The only shop to do so and not try to rip me off at the same time.

It's rare that people do business right these days, but these guys are the definition of it. I know people are constantly on the lookout for an honest mechanic, look no further. Pleasant to be around and trustworthy.

Very disappointed. I brought my vehicle here the other day for a simple thing, basically equivalent to putting air in the tire and immediately they brought me in and try to sign me up right away to go through an entire service set up. I was very disappointed, Im sure they do great work but tried to pull a curve ball on me and I wasn't taking it. I later on did call back and tried to schedule but we couldn't make ends meet.

Thursday night I was on the way to pick up my daughter in Pasco, noticed going over 275 that my car was handling really hard, checked the tire pressure and it was way low. Pulled off, checked the tire to see a huge screw panicking that its after 5pm and most places are closed. Called my boyfriend to see if he remembered any places quickly around that area where I could do, both of us googling and found here. Called immediately at 5:20pm just 10 minutes before closing explaining what happened and where I was coming from.

They were so nice on the phone and said come on in. I got there and they were waiting for me. Got me right in and fixed up. Customer service is a 10000000! I believe his name was Edwin(sorry if it wasn't, it was a rough day lol) and he was great! They were fast, efficient and it was an overall great experience. I work in healthcare so at the end of the day the last thing I want to be doing is dealing with a flat and as simple of a thing.they made it so much better. I will definitely be back. Thank you guys so much!

Had to have my 1971 Mustang aligned. Being an older vehicle sometimes I'm nervous when someone has to work on my baby. The manager (Dusty Cox) and his technician immediately took the car in and did a great job. The ride home was straight as an arrow. I also observed how well Mr. Cox treated other customers while I waited on mine. This store is a little out of my way but I guarantee I will be back!

!Crooks! Do not bring your car here under any circumstances. I was overcharged by triple what I would have been at any other tire store. I brought my vehicle in to have four wheels and tires put on that were already mounted and balanced and also to have the tire pressure sensors programmed. According to multiple other tire stores in the area it should cost about $20 to have four wheels put on and the tire pressure sensors program automatically so there is nothing to do labor wise to program them.

Although I was here for about an hour and a half total they only had my vehicle in the back around 10 minutes and charged me $60 And told me the tires were mounted in the tire pressure sensors were programmed. Well when they told me the tire pressure sensors were programmed they were wrong. So I had to return and waste more of my time since they didn't know what they were doing for them to only tell me they couldn't be programmed.

Anyone with experience would've known that they program automatically and that all they needed to do is put the wheels on. So what should have cost $20 and would've cost $20 at any other tire store in the area cost me $60.

I went here for an oil change last week and when I left, the oil filter fell off and all of the oil drained out of my 2017 Ford F150. My engine was ruined. I didn't get 300 yards from the facility prior to the filter falling off. I almost got run over trying to push the 2 ton truck off of route 60. I walked back there, finding the oil filter along the side of the road.

When I reached the facility and explained what had happened they declined to help me - stating - We have 2 people check the oil, filter and drain plug before returning the vehicle so I must have done something?'' I believe the incompetent oil tech's name was Neil. I'm now in the process of recouping the loss that I incurred because of Olin Mott Tires - Please stay away if you know what's good for you. I'm potentially out $1000's of dollars.

I finally found a vehicle maintenance company I can trust! The staff, from the front office to the mechanics, are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and very friendly. Walking into Olin Mott I feel like family. Olin Mott has raised the bar and set a whole new standard of service. My expectations were far exceeded and they have a customer for life!

This review is from an experience I had with this location in 2013. My car started accelerating weird and revving randomly while stopped, so for a few months I knew something was about to go wrong. Like many, I didn't really have the funds to have it looked at until it was too late. I had to have a fuel pump replaced and it set me back about $400 dollars.

Not a ridiculous price really to fix my car, so I had them replace it. I moved to Brandon from Plant City and had always had good service at the one in Plant City. Doug and his team at the Brandon Olin Mott, do not seem to hold themselves to such high standards though. Not even two weeks later, I tried to start my car and once again, was unable to get it to start.

This time I used my AAA tow service and had it taken to Plant City, where Vick was able to ascertain that the fuel pump they replaced was obviously used and not in any sustainable working condition. Was this a one time error on their part or a typical practice they engage in? I guess the reviews will tell, all I know is, I never saw any of my $400 returned.

I drive to this Olin from Orlando for any repairs on my car. I used to always go here when I lived in Brandon but when I moved to Orlando I tried places near by and was never happy with the service. I went to a Tuffys in Orlando where I was told I had to buy a new wheel but when I took it to Brandon Olin Mott they were able to bang out the dent, I don't think I was even charged. I like to get my oil changed here, for $35, and they give you a coupon for a free car wash at the place next door. Always friendly and fair, I highly recommend them.

Purchased set of tires. Got reasonable price, close to best offer found on Internet. Installation, balancing, alignment done in hour and half without any hassle.
