Super friendly and finished my car two days earlier than expected which is exactly what we needed since we were getting ready to move cross country. The cost was significantly cheaper than expected and they explained everything they were doing in detail. My 2012 Mazda is running like new now.

Old Town Auto Service has serviced our vehicles for the past 10 years. They are professional, kind, and always deliver within the estimated time. We are satisfied with the quality of their repairs and service. When I took in a vehicle that was in really bad shape, they gave me an estimate but also suggested that it may not be worth the cost of repairing due to several factors.

I was happy that I could trust them to give me honest feedback and service and not try to force an expensive repair. They care about us as a long-term customer and show that with the follow-up calls to determine our satisfaction with their service. I recommend them without hesitation.

First of all do not leave your car here overnight under any circumstances, they will steal it. Manager claimed the keys were stuck in the car the night before, they got there in the morning and their gate was open and the car was gone, now who else thinks that sounds fishy? very shady overpriced dealings going on at this place, would not trust them to change my oil.

I was sold a lemon of a car and I put a lot of work into it with old town auto service. 4500 originally for the first fix and then 700 to fix it again. It has so many problems. I appreciate the fact they Steve and the guys tried to help me and make everything right. I think Austin was one of the mechanics and he was very nice and understanding with my frustrations. Also bill is very nice and helpful. Thank you for your compassion for me.

Horrible service and scammed. plugged in spark plugs wrong and they don't take diagnostic fees out and every other place will. recommend johnson auto. honest work and people.

I tend to have bad experiences at mechanics, but they really blew it out of the park in a good way. Great service, kind people, and communicative.

I just dropped by by appointment to have my car diagnosed. The place was clean and the setting was pleasant and professional. Everything went quickly and the customer service was excellent. I have yet to hear back about the diagnosis, but expect good things from their service.

They tried to massively overcharge me on an issue that was just fully replaced a few days earlier, even after i told them that it had all new parts. So i then went to pick up my car and they straight laughed at me as if i was dumb and didn't know what i was talking about or doing. I DO NOT recommend this auto service shop. I feel extremely disrespected.

My car was having transmission issues, they took it in while they were already busy and had it fixed by the next day. They didn't even charge me as much as they could have for the container of transmission fluid they needed to top it off, and the entire repair was extremely reasonably priced. Highly recommended. I was quoted at $50 to replace the battery on my vehicle. The same mechanic seemed to be the only one available to work on my car and twice has provided an unsatisfactory experience. He called me mid morning stating that he needed to "pair the vehicle's electrical system with the battery, this is standard for these new cars, which will take more time." Therefore, charging me $145 to replace a battery that was ALREADY provided to him.

I did not buy the battery from the shop. I watched a 10 min video on the replacement of my car battery with an explanation of the task, his statement is untrue and a straight scam. It did not take him an hour to replace a battery and I was over charged for a simple task. When he knew I was upset about the cost he didn't offer any option of specials or discounts that were found online. This guy provided poor customer service. NEVER going to this shop again, my apologies to the owners but this is my perspective of your shop now.

We brought our Civic into Old Town due to a blown head gasket. Most of our discussions with Steve were over the phone. Steve was very forthcoming and honest! He gave us complete competitive estimates and let us know what possible complications were likely before we started so there weren't any surprises. Steve kept us updated with progress and finished on time. The car runs great again and we are very pleased with his work. Thanks very much!

Great customer service. We brought in an RV to be inspected before purchase. As we started to realize it had issues, they worked with us on the price of the inspection cost, which made the situation sting a little less. Thanks you guys.

We brought our car in for a standard service (oil, filter, etc.) and they had it done within hours! They checked everything else out as well.

The customer service here is top of the line. I had my Mazda repaired and they called me, emailed me to make sure I was 100% happy. I had a slight issue a few days later and Steve could not get on it and take care of it fast enough. They care. Even sent me a free car wash coupon. 9 I respect this staff so much. We were traveling from OR and having issues with our 2004 Suburban. These folks squeezed us in, with no prior notice, on a busy day. They treated us right, fixed the problem in a couple hours and the price was fair. Can't do better than that. Thanks!

Robert helped me out when I was in a bind to ready my vehicle for a road trip the next day. He also went the extra mile to try to help me resolve a tire warranty issue with a local shop I'd used previously. I've already recommended them to a friend and expect to go back the next time I need a mechanic.

I brought my car in because of a code reading a misfire in the 2nd cylinder and when I dropped it off I asked if they could check the spark plugs and coil first so I wouldn't have to pay for the engine diagnostic test. I was still charged for the engine diagnostic test and the problem was the spark plugs and coil. It made me feel like I was being taken advantage of because i paid over $600 to replace my spark plugs.

Good service, good repairs, on the high side for prices, when you see the quality of the work and customer service. I dropped them down because they missed a really big problem with the vehicle that they should have saw and reported, that if I were to do the work after the fact that they missed it will now cost an arm and a leg to have fixed.

My serpentine belt and tensioner pulley broke while driving. I had to be towed to Old Town Auto. I chose them from online by virtue of ratings and location. They not only got me in that day, but got me right back out very quickly! I would definitely recommend them!

I have been taking my car into Old Town Auto for about 4 years now. Last time I was there in May they found a problem that another shop couldn't find in a day and repaired it. Today I took it in because I knew my starter was going out. Through the inspection Mike called me to let me know every time something came up, he gave me a price right away and on the phone waited patiently when I didn't have an answer right away.

The repair shop is always AAA certified shop 10% off on the labor fee. The one thing I was disappointed about was the rental car they gave me because a part wouldn't be in until Monday. The car had a cracked windshield, was on E and rear view mirror fell off after adjusting it. They offered me two cars to choose from and I went with the bigger one because I had walked down with my clients with disabilities who I work with in their home. I would still recommend them to others and to thank Mike for making sure I knew everything that was going on with my car.

Worst experience ever. doesn't cost 500 bucks to replace a spark plug. robbery!

Not only did they fit me in at the last minute and complete the repair way under the estimated cost, they LISTENED to me. They didn't minimize my knowledge of the problem and they didn't fight me on doing the repair. These guys are top notch!

Stopped by here on an unexpected issue with my car during my road trip. Employees and the owner (I think he was the owner) were nice and the waiting area was clean. I wish there was an auto shop as nice as this in LA. I ended up paying more than the initial quote on the phone for the exact same job that I inquired but I wasn't super overcharged like many other auto shops scam with their customers. Initially was told 30min but had to wait for a little over an hour. Stop by here if you are around Eureka and need some TLC for your car!

I've been a customer since the 70's, this shop has saved me a good deal of $ over the years. I started with Wally and Steve his son has kept the standards his Dad had. They haven't done work that wasn't needed even though I asked them to.(thought I needed my brakes done & they didn't need any work) The work I did have done was done on time my truck and was returned cleaner than I gave to them.

They have a shuttle service and some loaner cars too. These are the only people I will let work on my truck. I send my friends and family without thinking twice. All the workers have 2 goals. Top quality work and a top notch customer experience. They have had some of the same mechanics for close to 20 years which says a lot for the business.

Grateful, is how I feel after dealing with this and their sister shop at 3rd and U. My RV broke down while traveling through Eureka with my 86yo mom, my daughter and granddaughter. Didn't know what to do, they were so helpful, willing to do whatever to make us comfortable. They gave us a loaner car while we had to wait which ended up being overnight. They had us up an back on the road running great, the next afternoon. Thank you to the owner and the service manager. We appreciate everything you did.

Service was ok. Very slow tho with over an hour extra from the estimated time with the inability to get the alerts on my dash turned off properly.

I never feel like I am being pressured into certain services and am so grateful for the loaner policy! I can get. my car fixed and not even miss work! Always a friendly staff. Thank you!

I wanted to like this place. They are AAA approved. They maintain beautiful curb appeal, and their staff is friendly. However, not only was there a scratch put through the tint on my window that they assured me they didn't do, they didn't complete the job. They wanted to charge me more than the estimate to finish when I returned to explain what portion was not completed. Clearly there was a breakdown in communication because the particular part was not even ordered. I will have to find someone else. I don't see myself using them again.

Went to get my car looked at. They said everything was fine. As soon as I leave I notice a loud sound that wasn't there when I took my car to them. Turned out there were a lot of things wrong with my car. I just find it weird how I take my car to them with no sounds and then leave with a loud sound. Took my car to Leon's on Broadway. They were great

Okay, so first off let's start with what I came in for. I came in for a standard 67,500 mile service on my 2008 VW EOS 2.0T. The price came out to be about $133 which is a bit rich for my blood but the car needed servicing and I wasn't gonna argue with that. It took them about a half hour after my appointment time before they got my car up in the garage and finished it in about an hour and a half.

When I got the car back they said the only issues they had was that they didn't have the necessary tools to turn off my service light on my car haha! Charged me about $96 in parts and $29 in labor plus tax.

Everyone here is always very helpful, I love the car service because it is free when are car is getting worked. on. They are always fast and efficient and we get the 6th oil change free! Always very helpful and a pleasant experience.

The Owner of Old Town Brake and Auto was extremely rude and unprofessional toward customers. I recieved the worst costumer service from the owner of this business today. I had previously brought my vehicle in for a check up last week, but they were unable to preform the diagnostics(computer scan of vehicle) due to my faulty battery. When I spoke with the mechanic working on it, he informed me that he would be unable to do a full inspection of my car until my battery was replaced.

I walked out that day paying 146$, 50$ for a replaced head light(bulb cost 15$!) and 89$'for a mechanic to drive my car for 20 minutes, and trouble shoot for another 20 before deciding that until the battery was replaced they couldn't help me. Machanics at Old Town Auto make 22$ An hr. So I basicly payed someone for an hr and a half to replace the headlight, which I have replaced before in 15minutes.

I went and replaced my own battery at O'Reillys(145$, and they put it in for free) Old Town wanted 200$ for the same job. When I made an apt to ACTUALLY have the diagnostics done, I spoke with the owner. He was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable about leaving my car there again. After many minutes of me trying to explain that I confused about being charged so much for a job that was not even preformed, he spoke to me in a very demeaning tone, and was almost laughing at my concerns.

I can't afford to pay that kind of money to be treated So unprofessionally. Not to mention my 8 yr old was with me and was witness to this poor treatment. I will never bring my business there again.
