This is my mechanic destination! I've taken my vehicle to Bruce a few times, and he always does an excellent job with a fair price. This time around I had a P0442 emissions leak, he let me know about the Voluntary Vehicle Repair Program (VVRP) that helps cover the costs of emissions repair, after I signed up, and scheduled the repair he not only fixed the issue he also took my vehicle through emissions. 5 stars hands down, best mechanic I've ever had.

Everyone was super polite and welcoming, and they had good recommendations so I wouldn't be overcharged.

Don't waste your time like I wasted mine. I called this shop 2 weeks prior to making an appointment to make sure that they could fix a emissions test problems on my car. I arrived early the day of the appointment, only to find out that they now won't work on my type of car and of course and they I didn't know who approved it. The mechanic went on to say that he didn't have time to work on cars like mine and then proceeded to go into go into a spiel about his opinions on the current president. Really? Thanks for nothing. So disorganized.

I have been dealing with Bruce at N. Mesa Auto since Bruce bought this business back in the early 80's, and have always found Bruce to be HONEST and very knowledgeable to his customers. I have sent several neighbors to N. Mesa Auto for repairs and have never heard even one complaint. I trust Bruce with my many vehicles over the years, and that is a very important consideration when you need service and repairs as there are so many other shops that you can't say that about. Give N. Mesa Auto a change to win you over. I'm sure you will be taken good care of.

My familys been going to North Mesa Auto service for over 30 years. I never want to take my vehicle anywhere else. The staff are friendly and maybe even more importantly honest. They will never try to sell you a service or part you do not need.

Overall Rating 5/5Overall Rating 5/5Overall Rating 5/5Overall Rating 5/5Overall Rating 5/5 "Bruce and crew are top-notch techs. They don't throw parts and guesses at your problem, ,,t hey find it first and fix it right." Have been going to N.Mesa Auto for repairs that I can't do myself for nearly 40 years. I wouldn't continue to go back there if I felt that they weren't honest and reliable technicians. They are BOTH honest and reliable! Face it, today's cars aren't for dummies to work on with all of the electronics involved.

I have been a customer of North Mesa Auto Services for approximately 8 years. I have been associated with the automotive repair business for nearly 40 years. Bruce runs an excellent, honest shop at North Mesa. They find issues during their regular service before they become problems on my 2008 Toyota Highlander. I can always depend on them for honest quality work on my car.

They stand behind the quality of their work. They are very knowledgeable about the modern automobile. They have the skill and equipment to solve any issues that may arise. I don't make many recommendations, but I do recommend Bruce and his staff at North Mesa Auto Services for high quality care of your car or truck.

I have been going to N. Mesa Auto for close to 20 years now. They're terrific! The old parts are available for inspection when I pick up my car. Repairs are always done well and at a reasonable rate. Also, they've been very good at telling me what repairs/services can wait, and what needs to be done fairly soon or done ASAP to help me save.

Had them work on my daughter's car, clutch was going out. Ended up being a few hundred more than quoted BUT they had to replace both the master and slave cylinders and faced off the clutch surface. For the age of the car and the millage, no big surprise. Work was done, car works great! :-

I have been taking my cars to North Mesa Auto Service since 2009. I have had several problems with a Kia Optima and the mechanics at North Mesa Auto have done a wonderful job in doing the diagnostics, finding out the problem and doing the repairs. Rates are reasonable and they did not overcharge the labor cost. At one point my car would not pass emissions and they put over a days worth of work into my car with minimal cost. The problem was finally fixed. If it wasn't for the mechanics and their fair practices, this project would have put be back thousands of dollars.

The ungrateful twerp who owns this place should keep in mind not everyone is fortunate in this economic climate to own their own business. That being said, he OVERCHARGES for simple things. Try getting an oil change for less than $50. To add salt to the wound, we learned that somebody on his team, while they did the oil change, they bent a piece of metal, the coil going to the heater core (sorry, I'm not a car expert) and in so doing, sabotaged the radiator.

It was only a month later, I drove the car into a more reputable place down the street, with liquid spurting from the hood as I barely managed to roll in. The mechanic there told us about the bent coil and that it must have been done on purpose and it could only have been this chop shop. Sadly, it's not possible to put ZERO stars.
