Noppers Collision Repairs Inc.Rich Nopper started his business in August of 1980, as Mr. Cleanup Auto Reconditioning, located in Van Den Houten Square, East Greenbush. In the summer of 1982, he moved to his present location, 323 Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush. His name has been changed to Nopper’s Collision Repairs. His business has grown from a one man shop, to his present day shop in which he employs five full time and two part time experienced auto technicians and painters, and two full time and part time office workers. Nopper’s Collision Repairs has built up an excellent reputation as a top quality collision repair shop which is dedicated to satisfying their customers and restoring their vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Over the years, equipment has been added to give their customers the advantage of auto repairs using the latest technology available. As you can tell, Rich Nopper has always believed in reinvesting in his collision repair business to keep it up to date and ahead of the competition. Nopper’s was one of the first shops in the Capital District to have a “Down Draft Paint Booth.” This kind of paint booth not only provides a cleaner paint job for your vehicle but it is also a healthier environment for the technician. It even “Bakes” the paint much like the factory did when your car was originally made.

The paints that use to be purchased from auto supply stores are now mixed on premises using the latest computer controlled paint mixing scales and using factory specifications to give you the best match possible. Nopper’s was also one of the first shops in the area to have a drive on frame & unibody straightening rack with a computerized/laser measuring system that can provide a printout of before and after dimensions of your vehicle. Nopper’s has been using computerized estimating systems since 1983 to give the most accurate vehicle damage appraisal possible. I have always known of your good reputation and only wish that I hadn't made the mistake initially in thinking that the best place to take my Mercury was to the dealer.
