Rich Nopper started his business in August of 1980, as Mr. Cleanup Auto Reconditioning, located in Van Den Houten Square, East Greenbush. In the summer of 1982, he moved to his present location, 323 Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush. His name has been changed to Nopper's Collision Repairs. His business has grown from a one man shop, to his present day shop in which he employs five full time and two part time experienced auto technicians and painters, and two full time and part time office workers. Nopper�s Collision Repairs has built up an excellent reputation as a top quality collision repair shop which is dedicated to satisfying their customers and restoring their vehicles to pre-accident condition.Over the years, equipment has been added to give their customers the advantage of auto repairs using the latest technology available. The paints that use to be purchased from auto supply stores are now mixed on premises using the latest computer controlled paint mixing scales and using factory specifications to give you the best match possible. Nopper's was also one of the first shops in the area to have a drive on frame & unibody straightening rack with a computerized/laser measuring system that can provide a printout of before and after dimensions of your vehicle. Nopper's has been using computerized estimating systems since 1983 to give the most accurate vehicle damage appraisal possible. The entire crew at Noppers were wonderful to work with, and I highly recommend them for your auto body repairs. Rich is the best! They needed my car for an extended period of time because it took some time for the new parts time to arrive, however communication with him throughout the project were timely, courteous, extremely professional and helpful. My car came back cleaner than it arrived, and I'm so grateful for how they were able to repair it!

Rich and his team are great. I had some paint transfer on my car door and they were able to repair the issue quickly and at a fair price. I have used them in the past after I hit a deer and they did the work quickly and efficiently, no issues after repairs were done. My family will continue to go there for any future repairs.

This is a long overdue review, but Nopper's Collision Repairs is the best! Everyone here is so extremely nice and genuinely kind. They're willing to listen to you and work with you. I had a unique case when I visited, which I had gone to 6-7 places prior, and every other repairs shops had told me very extreme measures with higher and higher repair costs since I didn't have much knowledge of cars or car repairs.
But Nopper's kept me in the loop with every service that will be completed, gave me a run down of what each service/repair means, and gave me different options depending on far I was willing to go to fix my car. They also give you experienced advice on what needs to be done and what isn't necessary (if it's just a cosmetic repair), and doesn't force you to fix anything that doesn't affect the mechanics of the car.
Even after the repair, they were so kind with any concerns or any questions I had. Nopper's is a welcoming family-vibe place and I would (and already did) highly recommend to anybody who needs any car repairs! :) And bonus - they also do photo inspection!

Pretty rare nowadays to find a family owned shop with kind and intelligent people. The reviews and rating are absolutely accurate. Rich, the owner, goes above and beyond to try and help. I brought my car in today for a photo inspection that I needed for insurance and he stopped what he was doing to help me with a minor scratch I had on the car. He brought out the buffer, the sand paper, the polish, all for free. Stand up guy and he deserves a five star rating!

Top notch service. Very friendly and accommodating. All staff including the owner Richie will go above and beyond to take care of your car needs. I have used them in 3 different occasions with different cars and this is the only place I will use for all car body related issues. Works seamlessly with insurance and car rental places too to make life easier for you. They stand by their work. If any issues, the will gladly fix it.
