They installed a rack and pinion that ended up leaking, which often happens on parts. Nicks ended up warrantying it and installing a new one without charging me. Which is really nice sonce ive had opposite experiences in the past at other shops. Being charged multiple times to install the same part after it is defective. Service: Steering & suspension repair

Went to get my car checked up (maintenance required light was on) they did an oil change and replaced my cabin and air filter. The airbox wasnt sealed correctly causing my car to be much louder. Also right after this my car radio literally fell out while I was driving and the wiring on my speakers is loose causing popping sounds from the speakers. They cant fix wiring issues though so ill have to go somewhere else to fix that.

These folks are the best. Informative, more than fair, comprehensive and friendly. I can't convey the range of things I've gone to them for from the absurd to the routine, be it fender bender checks or oil changes. I even drive from out of the area to work with them and never regret it. Here's hoping they don't retire anytime too soon!

Very honest bussiness, I wouldn't want my car anywhere else in the Boulder area.

I returned a U-Haul at this location. The U-Haul was attached to an auto transport. I was rudely instructed to leave both, connected, in the lot. They claim the truck was returned on time, but I was charged because the auto transport was "late". The auto transport was connected directly to the truck. Further, my vehicle can't tow. I couldn't even bring the auto transport separately if I wanted. Nick's auto is still trying to dispute the charge.

If you want to wait around 10 minutes looking for an employee, this is the place to go. If you want employees to treat you poorly and not even give eye contact, then I can't recommend this place enough. I think this is one of the best places in the world to visit if you like dealing with credit card companies and charge backs.

I do not know who dropped the ball on this, but I am blaming poor management. Rented a Uhaul from this location for pick up on a Sunday. Nicks did not set up the reservation for pick up when closed nor did they call/message to say there would be a problem with the reservation. I never received any combo code to pick up the truck from nicks. After being on hold with uhaul customer service I was told there was nothing they could do to assist

Nick's is the definition of a local shop with people who care. Nick (? Haven't caught his name but we'll assume that's who the older gentleman is) is one of the most helpful and generous guys I've ever met. I have taken my older vehicle here numerous times for a ton of different problems and they always do fast and quality work for a fair price. But it doesn't end there.

I was moving out of my apartment today and needed dollies to facilitate that move. I drove all over town and literally every single rental was taken for the day, I was hosed. I came to Nick and he rolled out two of his personal dollies and gave them to me, free of charge. He simply asked for my phone # and told me exactly where to return them. That act of kindness is something I'm not used to these days - for that reason I recommend Nick's shop for all services and as long as I'm in Colorado my business goes to him. I don't think he even understands the weight he took off of my shoulders that morning.

The shop diagnosed my cracked radiator on my Saab 9-2X and replaced it all in less than a day! Everyone I talked to was super friendly and they didn't try to up-sell me on anything. The price was fair and on par with other independent shops but a whole lot cheaper than the dealer. I have no complaints on my experience and I'm definitely coming back

Been going to Nick's for a number of years. My cars are two 17-year-olds, a 2004 Honda Civic and a 2004 Toyota Tacoma. Dennis (Nickerson) is a competent, experienced, and empathetic mechanic that understands the situations of less-than-wealthy customers who are on a budget and need to keep old cars running. He does not try to push unnecessary work on to his customers, nor replace things and do repairs mindlessly to maximize his own income. Also, I know that he runs a alcohol-monitoring blower service for people who have DMV monitoring for DUI and DWI infractions. He and his daughter Jennifer treat these clients with respect and compassion.

I had my interlock here and was so happy that I used them. Despite not loving the situation I was in, the staff made me feel comfortable, were always a pleasure to talk to, and made the entire process seamless. While I hope to never have to use Interlock again, these are the folks I'd recommend anyone use.

Found out about Nick's on Fairview, through word-of-mouth. So very grateful my ears were open :- He has been a mechanic for many years. Is flexible. Prices are reasonable. And he goes above and beyond. Though, he may not be able to do all the jobs he used to do. Because of his kindness and compassion, he deserves more than five stars. I would recommend using Nick.

I've rented Uhauls from these guys at least three times and they're always great.

I have been to taking my family's vehicles to Nicks Auto Repair now for 20 years. Over this period of time I have never been disappointed in the service that I have received. In fact, my experience with Nicks has always been excellent. Dennis and his friendly staff will give you the confidence you are looking for that your vehicle is being serviced professionally and at a fair price. Better yet, I have always been given honest, helpful advice about my vehicles. It's so nice to have an auto mechanic you can trust!
