His son, Don Jr., and daughter, Debbie, now head our family-owned and operated, state-of-the-art body repair facility on Haggerty Road in Commerce Twp., MI. After being employed by Uncle Sam in the Philippines Motor Pool in 1946, Don Sr. started a small auto body repair on Puritan in Detroit.

I met the team at Munro collision many years ago. I work for a high end muscle car and classic car dealer that have used this operation several times over the years for collision as well as overall paint jobs with zero negative feedback! Not only was their work superior, but I love their customer service as well. While my car was being repaired, Debbi Munro called to inform me that the side panel was actually going to be $40 cheaper than originally quoted and that they were going to credit me for it. WHAT? Most other collision places would have kept the profit, but this class act business did the right thing. Bravo!

Experts through and through! Family owned, Munro Collision not only knows what they are doing from insurance paperwork to fixing the vehicle but the have the most amazing customer service. Don even went to the lengths of calling the rental car facility to let them know I was in need of a car while I was busy at work. They fixed my car and when I picked it up they had detail cleaned it, inside and out, it looked brand new! I SERIOUSLY recommend them as I will never take my car anywhere else.

Great work and good people to work with. Competitive price compared to local shops. Fit my work in over the new year holiday, despite a last minute request. Update in June 2015: follow up work needed for missed failing fascia clip, which was no problem, but reduced from 5 to 4 stars for slow response. I had to initiate every interaction, even after part was ordered and ready at shop.

What a class act. These guys really get it. From the original estimate through the maze of insurance paperwork and finally crossing the finish line, the managment was there to help every step of the way! The owners of Munro's are very honest and really worked with me on fixing my daughters lease car. They performed a miracle fixing and cleaning the car prior to us turning it back in to Chrysler. I highly recommend stopping in to see them if you need to have any repairs done to your car or truck. These guys truly care about their customers and it shows in their workmanship.
