Muffler Shop II

I cannot say enough good things about this shop! I had previously gotten a quote of $950 to replace my muffler/exhaust with dealer parts. This place came recommended to me by a friend who is a longtime mechanic. I dropped my car off Sunday night for an estimate. Monday morning by 11 am I received a call with a quote of $400 and that it could be ready by the end of the day. By 2:30 I got another call that my car was done. Less than half the price, done in a day and a whisper quiet car. I'm extremely satisfied!

I was treated respectfully and in a timely manner. Repairs done on time as promised!

They get everything done at a good price. A few friends and I have had to remind them to do our inspection even after we paid for it but other than that solid.

I was charged $150 for a minor issue that no one bothered to tell me was a temporary fix. Less than a year later I am paying $230 to properly fix the same issue again. Be careful with this company. I won't be using them again. Service: General repairs & maintenance

First time there was for exhaust systems repair very good, Then back again 2 weeks later for tires once again I really like the suggestion they had out saved me 100 dollars more

They did good service on the car. They will only check what you tell them. They didn't really do a safety check like they were supposed to though.

I inquired about a muffler replacement for my Tacoma and was given an estimate of $375, and told they would have muffler in stock; my appointment was about 2 weeks after my call, and I was told it would probably take about 2 hours. I let then know I would just hang out in a nearby park until they called. My appointment was at 10:00, at 12:30 I saw my truck in the parking lot still without a new muffler, when I inquired I was told they had wrong phone # even thou they repeated it back to me.

They said they could not take my word that my muffler was bad but had to look themselves and were waiting on my ok to get a muffler for it. It wold also cost more than estimate because estimate was just an estimate. I could either go somewhere else or pay more and have a quiet car in hopefully about 1 1/2 hours. I said I wasn't happy but go ahead.

At 1:30 my truck was still in parking lot with old muffler, when I asked they said they just got new muffler and would start right away. I stood near parking lot and watched, if they didn't move my truck into shop by two I would just get my keys and leave. About 10 till 2:00 a mechanic came out and got my truck and started working on it. A little before 3:00 he brought my truck out.

They charged me $337.50 for labor, $180.00 for my muffler, a Walker Quiet Flow muffler assembly, $100 at amazon, $45.00 for spring bolt kit & gasket, $10.75 at amazon, and $25.00 for stainless exhaust piping for sleeve that I'm not sure where it is. The total price is now $259.50 over estimate, and 5 hrs. wait time for a regular muffler replacement, no unexpected repairs. I would not recommend this shop to anyone!

These guys are AMAZING! The day I called, Ryan listened to the issue and had a pretty good idea of the problem. He squeezed me in so they could look at it. His diagnosis completely matched what Hoselton had said earlier in the day. The repair wouldn't have been covered under my warranty @ Hoselton and the Hoselton Service Manager suggested that I take it to a Muffler Shop. Ryan is incredible. he drew me a little diagram & he really wanted to make sure I understood what they would be doing. Monro Muffler tried to sell me a new catalytic converter. Along with my trust, Ryan has secured a lifelong customer. Thank you for saving me $1700 and thank you for your honesty.

Great shop. Needed an exhaust manifold replaced on my F150 and they had it done in a day. Nice and quiet again, and they were very reasonably priced. I will definitely give these guys my business again, and recommend them as well.

Dropped my car off for an inspection and it needed a bunch of work (old beater car). The shop worked with me to order parts for the car and give me time to make some repairs myself. Upon pickup it was apparent that they had damaged a sensor during the repair and they worked as quick as they could to get the part and make it right, highly recommend!

Provided the right-on diagnosis for exhaust issues that saved me at least $1K. My CRV is running quieter than it has in over a year. Very nice & professional team. I am very grateful! Service: Exhaust
