First place I didn't feel robbed. My dealership recommended them. I still checked around before finally choosing them and they were the only place that didn't raise red flags for me. Went to get an estimate a couple of months prior to choosing a place. $1400. Just got my car back last week $1500 just a $100 more for a part which is super reasonable! Staff is friendly and helpful. They do a FANTASTIC job and charge very reasonable. My baby boy looks BRAND NEW. 100% recommended.

I had just gotten my car's oil change and I also needed a car wash and a vacuuming with it. They said I needed to buy the gold cleaning instead of just letting me get the basic car wash with vacuuming it. It was the most insane thing I've even seen.

The bottom line Modern Carriage is the best of the best body shop in Illinois! My brother goes there when his cars are in a wreck and most of the time it's not his fault. So, Vince and his team always take care of our wrecked vehicles and makes them look brand new again. My insurance company swears by Modern Carriage too, and that is a big deal because Statefarm is a huge reliable insurance company. So, they do custom jobs too, and not just collision which is cool too IMO. So, check them out for your autobody repairs and paintwork, and if you really want to see perfection this is the place to start.

Dan is fantastic person in dealing with concerning with your car repairs. They are precise when it comes to estimating your damage and repair your car in a timely fashion. If there are any additional problems they wilk immediately notify you.

I have had bad experiences before with other shops getting insurance repairs. Last time I brought a to a different shop I got stuck driving a rental work van because no cars were available and the shop said the car would only take a week. 3 weeks later I was still dumping gas into this van waiting for my vehicle only to get it and see corners were cut and pieces bent back in place instead of replaced and sloppily at that.

This time I was parked at work and some jerk hit my car in the lot and bailed. Brand new 2022 only a month old. It's a really crappy feeling. Especially remembering my previous experiences. When trying to find a shop I remembered someone I knew from High School who's family owned a shop in town. He always had the best looking cars and through word of mouth I heard they did good work.

The service blew me away. The place is inviting. They have 2 great dogs. It's well maintained and clean. The family is inviting. You can just tell when you're there that it's a professional place. This is speaking strictly as a consumer. Forget that I knew one of the family over 20 years ago. I've maybe seen him 2 times since. Everything was effortless.

I dropped it off Monday, and was told it would be ready by Saturday. Get a call Thursday that it's ready. It looks fresh off the lot. The feeling that my brand new car is tainted or somewhat cheap now is completely gone, and the family couldn't have been nicer. I'm looking at a few negative reviews and I refuse to believe that. I never met the 2 owners that I dealt with and they treated me great. They even let me drop my rental there to be picked up later. I hope I never need them again. But I feel a lot better knowing they're there.

People were very friendly. I purchased some not-so-cheap Seibon carbon fiber side skirts for my Nissan GT-R. I tried putting them on myself, but ran into some issues, so I decided to take it to a professional. They called me and told me they weren't very happy with the fitment but they did manage to MacGyver them on with some screws and 3M double-sided tape. Admittedly, when I reviewed the work when I picked up the car, I didn't get down and closely inspect them, which I should have.

When I got home and discovered a 3/8" gap almost the entire right side, I called them up and said I wasn't too happy. They reiterated that they warned me the fitment wasn't great, and that can happen with carbon fiber parts, which is true. However, I was really frustrated that they 3M taped this thing on without first calling me and making sure I was going to be happy with such a huge gap on the trim - I would have told them "No", and asked if I could pick up the skirts to try and get my $1,800 back for them.

I cannot take them off to try and redo their work myself because I will almost certainly crack the carbon fiber. So, I'm out $1,800 + $500 for installation. They did successfully install my Seibon carbon fiber front lip without issue, though.

I had a deep scratch on my black Mustang, and they tried everything to get it out, and at the end of the day they managed to remove it without having to repaint the panel

We have had a few visits here for various cars and reasons related to body work. Excellent service, absolutely no complaints. Friendly, fair pricing and quick. No BS, they get straight to work. Always have been accomodating to our time-frame. Highly recommend their service.

Brought my car in after an accident and chose MCW from the preferred insurance company list. Car was kept there for a reasonable amount of time. They did a great job! You wouldn't even know the car was in an accident. Everyone there is knowledgeable and friendly.

These are the guys you want fixing your stuff when the bad or unavoidable things happen. Better than factory results, better than Excellent customer service. Danny & Vince make you feel like family from start to finish. Thank you for getting my Durango back and looking great.

Great Work very good quality sometimes pricey on private work but if you want great quality work you have to pay for it. My experience was on my Audi A7 no issues when they fixed the body damage. I work in the automotive field and all I can say the work came out great.

They painted my door it looked great at first and the 3 months later I was washing my car had found the paint was chipping off. Now that will not fit it won't even talk to me. DON'T TRUST THEM!

Unfortunately l got into a fender bender with my MKS, but To my good fortune I took it to Modern Carriage Werks and had it repaired within a week, they kept me updated, got me a rental and did a GREAT job on my repairs got my Lincoln back like it pulled off the showroom floor Thanks Don

Once they get their money they don't know you. I found some mistakes in the work a few days later I wasn't happy, tried to get them to fix it, and it was like talking to a wall.

Let me say this! I definitely look and trust the reviews of any business customers when I am shopping for something with great quality of customer service as well the work. I did read the reviews to this place and decided to go with giving this place my business. My decision was on point! This place deserves more than 5 stars! I took my Lexus there for repair after a nasty fender bender and they gave it back to me in less 2 weeks time!

I was like WHAT! Already?! I think maybe a day early too, take it from someone that relies on reviews and EXTREMELY HIGH LEVEL of customer service and understanding, THIS PLACE, FOR ME, HAS MY BUSINESS FOR LIFE! I have used them for more than 20 years. From repairing my truck, to painting my trailer. They even fabricated railings for my bowfishing boat to mount lights. Vince, Danny and Tony make a great team. No reason to go anywhere else. I love you guys. Thanks for everything. Doc

Stop looking now. just call this place up for an estimate as soon as you can. My aunt had her brand new car rear ended pretty badly several months back. I had no idea until she mentioned it, when I got into an accident with my brand new 2017 Challenger. I instantly checked out her car and you couldn't even tell there was ever damage to it. Prior to talking to my Aunt, I had gone and received a few estimates.

I have never been in an accident before so it being my "baby" and not ever having to deal with this I was extremely nervous about getting ripped off or just getting a half ass job done. Hands down though, the moment I walked into Modern Carriage I felt 100x more comfortable with this family and the work they would do then the prior shops I stopped into just from first impressions.

So after the initial brief they estimated my car at 5 days in the shop compared to two weeks on average compared to other shops plus about 1500 cheaper. My insurance was paying but hey I want my "baby" back as soon as possible. After having my brief estimate, I instantly knew these are the guys I want to take care of me and my car. 3 days after dropping off my car, it was already done and looking brand new again.

This shop worked with me every step of the way knowing I haven't dealt with this before, having a short time frame due to needing to head back to College, as well as the fact my insurance wasn't communicating at all. From the estimate to the finished repairs Modern Carriage Werks we're truly outstanding and I highly recommend! Thank you all truly, it's a blessing to find a shop that cares and does quality work. P.S- Apollo (The big pup) that sits up front is the absolute sweetest and a great welcoming factor to Modern Carriage.

This guy was a total jerk who did my estimate. He said I had stress cracks in my bumper and when I felt it with my hand I could feel no crack. I asked him about it and he started shaking his head like I had a big fu#$%ng problem and I could tell he was 'offended' and I said 'I don't mean to doubt you, I just." he interrupted me and said "but you already are doubting me".

I said I wanted the damaged front grill replaced and I could just buff out the scratches in the bumper. He said in an irritated tone, "well if you want to buff out the scratches what do you ened me for?" and said "goodevening sir" and walked out. Holy shit I have never been treated like that in my life. He must have been having a really bad day.

I've had multiple vehicles serviced at MCW for the last 10 years. Often times, it's the preferred location for fleet vehicles (company vehicles). They have serviced a couple of my personal vehicles as well throughout the years. They always seem to have the best price quotes/estimates. And prior to a full replacement of a part, they have the experience to repair vehicle issues hence saving the customer hundreds of dollars. Yesterday, I picked up my vehicle for a repair which would have cost me $700 - $800 more had I chosen the body shop affiliated with my current dealership. Lastly, Dan (service manager) does a fine job explaining the repairs required and estimated costs.

Just picked up my car from a pretty major accident and all I can say is I have found my home for repair work. The work was done on time and the quality was better than OEM. I'm am a self admitted annoying customer that calls for updates more than I probably should, but they were more than accommodating with my high maintenance personality. I'm now looking for dents in my other cars to get fixed. Thank you for the excellent service!
