Middle Country Automotive had speedy and efficient service to offer, with great people running the place. Everyone there created such a friendly, welcoming environment and it left a great impression on us. A business is only as good as the people who run it, and everyone here was both professional and incredibly kind. We appreciate that they brought good attitudes into the workplace.

We will definitely be returning here if we need more work done on our car while we live in the area. Troy was our helper today, and he did a great job with both speed and efficiency, he was very knowledgable and even helped us to learn a few things. Great service, great people, reasonable prices! 100% recommend.

We moved back to Long Island around 4 years ago and we've been bringing our cars to Middle Country Automotive in Selden ever since. It is not the closest shop to our home or work, but we truly find it worth the trip. It goes without saying that automotive issues can be stressful to deal with, but MCA's efforts to make each visit go as smoothly (and as painlessly) as possible do not go unnoticed.

I need to especially mention Kelly, Troy, and Ricky who always make us feel so welcome any time we call or walk inside their doors. They take the time to kindly, patiently, and thoroughly explain what's going on or what's to be expected each visit - which we appreciate more than I can say. And, any time I'm in there, I've observed how the entire team treats their customers like neighbors. Very grateful we found Middle Country Automotive a few years ago. Service was very good. Very quick NYS inspections on both of our cars.

Love this place! They email you pictures of the parts that are not good, and let you decide what you want done. Also, they stand by their work. Had brakes done, but still squeaked afterward. Made an appointment for the next weekend, and they fixed it. Would recommend to everyone

I do NOT recommend this place! My car showed a low coolant light, so I decided to take my car to this place given its very good reviews. The result is: after they claimed they have fixed the problem and I paid $700+, the coolant light showed up again during the first time I drove my car after the fix. I had to come back and drop off my car again, and was given a new bill of $1600.

This is ridiculous, and I of course refuse to pay it. I took my car to an authorized dealer. I just paid $300+ for a service that ACTUALLY fixed the problem! Other than this place couldn't fix the problem and charge ridiculous bills, my experience with the people there was not great either. I immediately felt that they want me to pay for more services when I arrived the place. The guy who was in charge was also impatient and sometime a bit rude.

I went for the NY state inspection and got great service. My car was broken so I couldn't do the inspection at one time however they manage to handle all the Inspection with no extra charge. They even removed screws that was in my tire for free!

All I can say to the staff at Middle Country Automotive in Selden is: Thank you so much! I have had too many bad experiences with mechanics in the past so I was very weary when searching for some in my area, but after seeing the online reviews for Middle Country Automotive, I took a chance and brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee to them. From making the appointment to picking the truck up after being serviced (and everything else in between), the customer service I received was fantastic.

Everyone who I spoke to was friendly and personable, and I ultimately felt comfortable enough to have them work on my truck (this says A LOT because I have an inherent distrust for most mechanics). While it wound up not being anything too serious, they were able to fix the problem with my exhaust system within 2 hours of me dropping it off to them and soon enough they were calling to let me know that it was ready to be picked up.

I was also expecting to pay a lot more than I actually had to, which is also a huge plus. After this experience, I will absolutely be returning in a few weeks when it's time for me to get my inspection renewed as well as a few other services that I know need to be done.

I follow and have Eric take care of my car where ever he works over many years. A good quality mechanic. Ty

People who drive generally DREAD 2 things, Buying a car and mechanics. MCA removed one of those things for me. Costumer service was way better than other places I've been to and very upfront with pricing and the process. My car now drives like new and now looking forward to future maintenance with them. I went to them yesterday and it was great. They were upfront about prices and what my car needed. Ended up making a plan with them to get what really needed to be done and what can wait. Very kind and took the time to explain any questions I asked. They also ended up fixing a wire for my charging port for me. Definitely recommend them. Great service.

I've been driving for over 15 years and have never been able to find a mechanic that I fully trusted, until I found Middle Country Automotive on Angie's List. I've had two cars serviced there so far and based on both experiences, I will never use another place ever again. The staff at Middle Country Automotive is nothing short of fantastic. They care about getting your car back on the road and give you multiple options for repair. It never feels like I am getting ripped off or oversold. I truly think I found a diamond in the rough. I will recommend MCA to anyone I know.
