Most readers know that synthetic motor oils typically perform better than conventional motor oils in providing protection for your vehicle, but they might not know why. What's the real difference between synthetic and conventional oil? Pretty much everything. Conventional and synthetic oils begin in the ground.
Everybody wants a reliable vehicle to drive, but not many people are forward-thinking enough to practice preventive maintenance beyond the barest of basics. After all, preventive maintenance costs money and nobody likes to spend money "unnecessarily." We put unnecessarily in quotes because we want to emphasize the fact that most consumers do not appreciate the benefits of preventive maintenance when it comes to belts and hose. Changing the oil and filters every so often they can understand. Oil and filters get dirty and need to be changed.

Completely incompetent jokers. this place was great before it was sold, don't let the great reviews fool you, as of 2021 this place has new management and workers and it's really not good. I took my car in to be repaired and my gas tank went from full to empty and had more issues than before. they didn't detect issues and overcharged for something I wouldn't call service. my car ran worse when I got it back.

So glad to have found them back in 2017. Can't say enough great things about these guys! Straightforward, honest, and fair! One of the few ethical auto shops out there. I've sent my 335, 535, and X5 I always walk away happy that they did the maintenance and don't have that second guessing feeling you get from the dealer."did I pay too much?"

I wish I could give ten stars. We have been using Metric for our Mercedes, Audi and Toyota and have always been 100% satisfied with Carl and his crew. We will not go anywhere else and did have to go to the dealer once as Carl told us it would be under warranty. They are beyond honest, explain things clearly and the work done is too notch. Again, I can't say enough good things about Metric!

Above and beyond I brought my car in due to my shifter feeling loose. Upon inspection it was found an aftermarket piece added wasn't constructed well enough and the mechanic devised a custom and more permanent solution that is working great. I couldn't be happier. To me this was above and beyond. Update: Top notch trustable service Came in recently with aftermarket coilovers and asked to have them installed.
No instructions came with them. Their quoted labor cost was a bit higher than I expected but they assured me if they can do it faster they would charge me less. Not only did they do a good job, they did it for $400 less. Do you trust your mechanic to lower the cost of labor if possible? I do now and will continue to bring my car here. Btw, they even routed my aftermarket subwoofer cables around the mid engine layout so they weren't visible which I had previously struggled to figure out how to do. Looks much better now. It's like he's fixing his car and I just get to drive it! :-
