Merrimack Auto was started in 1977 by my father Don Tanguay. In 1995 After serving 5 years in the U.S. Army, I started working by his side. I watched how he treated customers as friends. In 2005 I bought the business from him and continue today working on customers vehicles that have been coming here since 1977. I pride myself in operating an honest, clean, family friendly repair facility. I believe that here a Merrimack auto we could provide you with the service that you deserve. First time customer I didn't know business has been around for 40 yrs..Location in Nashua has been opened for 4yrs,it's a lot more convenient then going to Manchester for servicing my Mercedes. State inspection and oil change.. Nice that Chad gave me discount for being a new customer.. he keeps customers happy and that's what makes a business successful

Don't go to just any auto shop and certainly not the dealer - only Chad and Mike at Merrimack Auto Center will give you an honest assessment of your car's problem and a reasonable price (saving you $100's from other's "estimates"). They're very good mechanics and do the job quickly on your schedule. I come over from Brookline just to have them service me. Plus, they have a shuttle service to get you to and from your job.
And to boot, Jean the receptionist in the Nashua location often brings in home-made goodies! I highly recommend Merrimack Auto Center for all your mechanical needs, big or small.

I hired Merrimack Auto a couple of years ago to change the tires and breaks on my wife’s Ford Explorer. Because my wife and I have such busy schedules it was best to have this work completed while we were on vacation. Merrimack Auto not only completed all of the work for us while we were gone but went out of their way to deliver the vehicle to our home so my wife would have it for traveling to Boston first thing Monday morning after vacation. Always great service, prices and quality work.

By far the cleanest and friendliest auto repair center I’ve ever been to. Chad and his team were courteous, welcoming, and warm. From receptionist to mechanics, they all ensured that I was comfortable while I waited for my car. They not only were able to tell me what was wrong with my car, but they were also able to fit me in for an oil change and inspection on the fly without me even scheduling. I will absolutely be going back to Merrimack auto Center and would recommend it to any one.
