Casey and the crew there always are super nice, honest and fair. I won't ever bring my cars to any other mechanic.

I have been coming to Maximum for a long time, and I travel quite a distance to get here. Maximum is basically responsible for my build - I doubt that my 2012 would be in such good shape without them. They know their stuff - you can tell from the volume of customers. Definitely worth the trip! Service: Vehicle Inspection

Hands down, no questions asked, the absolute best shop in the Chicago/Naperville area for anyone looking to do a huge build on their Truck or Jeep or just looking for everyday service on their vehicle. Casey and his team are extremely hands on and customer friendly and are happy to work with you for whatever you need. I just did a huge build on my truck, talked to a lot of shops in the area and happy I went with Maximum Automotive to handle everything as the truck came out even better than I could have imagined. More-so than how the truck came out was how happy I was with the process from start to finish when dealing with Maximum Automotive. They are the BEST in town.

Excellent, honest and didn't try to upsell me. My emission test failed and he started with a small repair. Cost me less than $100 and said often that would solve the issue. If it doesn't pass the test, then they have do a more extensive diagnosis/repair. It passed and I am grateful. Great shop and Casey is great!

Completely Untrustworthy Took my Lincoln into this place in early December for a check engine light. Said it could be either a sensor or a converter. Replaced the sensor.that didnt work.so it must be the converter. Paid $300 for the sensor to be replaced and made plans to leave the vehicle over the holiday (starting December 22, 2021) to replace the converter.

After several days of NO CONTACT, I called Maximum on Thursday Dec 30, 2021 to find out if the car had been fixed. Candidly, I figured they would need my credit card to pay for the install. They hadn't even started the job but promised they would have it done on Friday. Well, Friday came and I got a phone call saying that they weren't able to fix it. Again, had not even started the job.

At most this is a 3 hour job. So, I will start the new year with the engine light still on. I guess we are back in the days where you simply cannot trust an auto mechanic! Too bad!

Can't say or recommend them enough. My husband found them for service on his car and when mine needed maintenance we used them as well since he was happy with their customer service and quality of work. We both have 2010 vehicles that we're holding onto, so we know that having someone we trust to keep them going until we're ready is important. Casey has been honest and knowledgeable with what needs to be done and will need to be. We'll definitely continue using them for our vehicles and recommend to friends!

I would definitely recommend Maximum Automotive. I booked an appointment for an alignment, showed up on time. I paid a fair price for a job well done. They offer a variety of services and looks as if they run a smooth operating business. Next time I need work done on my ride, I'll set up another appointment with Maximum Automotive.

I've had my car worked on at Maximum Automotive for different things, including a battery installation, belts, and four wheel alignment. The prices are very reasonable compared to auto dealers, and Casey the general manager is very knowledgeable and friendly. I Highly recommend them!

Casey and his crew were great! I had them do a lift on my son's '05 Jeep LJ. He was upfront about what I should expect and kept me updated along the way with what they encountered. I went there based on high recommendation from coworkers and they did not disappoint. They may be 40 miles from me but they have earned my trust and business!

Without a doubt the best car service and repair shop experience I've ever had. I recently noticed a concerning noise in the engine of my 2013 Elantra and, my parents being long time customers of Maximum Automotive, recommended I take my car there. Casey and his team test drove the car and quickly determined that an engine replacement was needed. Casey went the extra mile and discovered that my car was still under the manufacturer's warranty, so he recommended that I bring it to a local dealership to have the engine replaced instead.

He also recommended that we hold off on the other repairs I thought I needed until the dealership inspected the car and confirmed the engine replacement would in fact be covered. The Maximum Automotive team was thorough, professional and honest and I'd recommend them to anyone who needs their car serviced.

I received excellent vehicle maintenance on my Lexus RX 350, performed by a team of highly skilled mechanics. Maximum Automotive is conveniently located off busy Ogden Ave & Aurora Ave in Naperville. Maximum has competitive pricing that certainly put the local dealership to shame! My husband encouraged me to try them after years of taking my vehicle straight to the dealer.

It was a great choice! I was able to get a service appointment for - 140k mile vehicle maintenance services (spark plugs replaced, brake fluid flush) on short notice. The staff is professional & efficient. My vehicle was ready in no time and is running better than ever!

Second time that I've been to the shop, this time it was to have an SLP exhaust installed on my car along with subframe connectors welded in. The pricing was very fair and the work turned out great. Now when I launch the car it doesn't have wheel hop and the power doesn't get lost in the unibody and goes straight to the ground. Exhaust sounds great too.

I do the majority of the work on my car myself, but for things that I can't do myself, I trust this shop (I'm pretty picky about going to a shop) to do good work at a reasonable price, and they have always delivered on that.

Maximum Automotive has been my go-to place since moving to the area 14 years ago. The technicians employed there are AMAZING and the front-office management goes above and beyond to be sure I understand everything that is happening. They have never once tried to sell me on something that isn't needed. I will keep going back to Maximum for any of my automotive needs.

One of the worst experiences! You know the auto repair place that you worry if they will rip you off? This is the one. I specifically reviewed the quote (price, PARTS, and labor) with Casey there. I wrote it down and I repeated it to him over the phone. A Jeep lift kit for my ex-girlfriend TO INCLUDE the spacers for the tires so they would not rub against the wheel wells when turning.

I drove it home after the rip off repair and Casey did not include the spacers he told me he would and just blabbed about how much they did for free. The brand new tires grinded against the wheel wells and my ex had to fix them out on the road as she relocated to AZ. 1st. Casey LIED by saying he did not include spacers in the quote! And challenged me saying I had nothing in writing from him. 2nd.no reputable mechanic would do a half azz job like this and let a vehicle leave their shop with tires grinding against the wheel wells after they put in a Jeep lift kit. This is dangerous and totally unprofessional lWARNING.stay away from this place especially my fellow Jeepers!

Awesome quality with awesome explanations of what they diagnose and how they will fix your car's issues. Especially recommended for any lift kits or any truck issues. Make sure you go early; seems like it's first come first serve. Totally worth it for the quality. The regular dealerships seem less reliable and not as accurate in diagnosis. Maximum always beats the dealership prices too, so it's a no brainer for me and my Tahoe.

After the repairs. Had to have my vehicle towed to a dealership, because it couldn't be driven away. 3 weeks and $2000 later had it back. One repair that was done, broke within 3 months and cost me another $300 to fix with manufacturers parts not after market. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Minus 10

I'm pretty disappointed with my first experience at Maximum Automotive. I had my 2017 Jeep Rubicon recently lifted and took the jeep to Maximum Automotive for an alignment due to the Jeep feeling "flighty". Casey who was the main rep knew VERY little about jeeps but insisted you always need an alignment 100% of the time after a lift and that was the cause for the flighty feeling.

They took the jeep for a test drive and came back stating the wrong bolt was used on the track bar of the jeep. They asked for $100 more to check all the new lift kit bolts and said they can order new bolts right now for an additional fee. I declined and requested they to show me the "wrong bolt" that was used. Turns out it was a factory bolt, not the wrong bolt and it was just loose. Casey was incorrect and tried to get $100 Plus dollars of additional service out of me. I'm glad I asked to see the bolt. Took all of 3 seconds to tighten the bolt, however, Casey still insisted on doing the alignment.

After the "work" Casey came back and said they adjusted things and I was good to go. I asked to see the alignment sheet prior to leaving. Nothing was adjusted. The tech even came in saying things were fine and no alignment was needed. $70 later I paid to have a tech tighten a bolt and Casey try to scam me out of more work than I really needed and changing bolts that did not need to be changed. I do not think I'll be back here and will be letting my Jeep friends know about this joke of a day.

My husband and I have been bringing our cars to Maximum Automotive for several years now. Jeremy and Casey are always so helpful and knowledgeable. They are the most honest Automotive shops we have ever been too. There prices are very reasonable. Every time we have had our cars worked on we have been very happy with the outcome. At Maximum Automotive the owner, Managers, and all workers definitely take pride in what they do.

They have the best customer service which is hard to find. Jeremy definitely went out of his way to help me when I had an incident on the highway with my hood over a year ago so scared Jeremy and Casey said don't worry We'll take care of it. Knowing my vehicle was in their hands I could relax and calm down. Definitely recommend them.

I've been going here for my automotive needs for years and I'll never go anywhere else! The mechanics here know their stuff and they tell it to you straight. Their prices are fair and they've proven themselves to be honest in their diagnostics and repairs.

When it comes to products and services where trust is the BIGGEST factor making a choice. 1- Excellent customer service from the moment you walk in the door 2- Upfront honesty with the staff showing the customer where there are issues 3- Committed to working within the time of a scheduled appointment 4- Comparable rates to competition What makes a great car service center is good staff, honesty and educating the customer - which are very few these days given everyone wants instant gratification. I've been coming here since 2002 and will continue to do!

I took my car there for an alignment after buying tires from Discount Tires. I also asked for my plugs to be changed and my valves checked. The work was completed in a very reasonable amount of time. They showed me the "before and after" specs on how they corrected the alignment. They didn't find any other problems needing repair in order to complete the alignment as I feared.

They were also honest enough to not recommend any adjustment on my valves even though Honda recommends having them checked. I will take my car there in the future as I feel I can trust them to not rip me off for needless repairs. Plus they can handle all types of repairs from oil changes to transmissions.

Arrived before 9am for the engine oil change on Saturday. Guy said that it would take one hour. However, I waited for 3 hours. Not trustworthy. I won't come back again.

Just had Maximum Automotive install my Metal Cloak lift on my 2017 Jeep JK and everything was done quick and right. These guys are great and would recommend when thinking about doing your lift.

Outstanding service! First thing was Casey is always on time! I set an appointment over the phone and wham I arrived he was waiting for me - and the waiting area is very NICE and CLEAN! The work on our cars has always been completed on time and everyone is very friendly and kind. The prices are competitive and the quality is outstanding! What I like best is they explain anything that needs to be done in "my language" - I am pretty weak on automotive slang so they answer all my (probably) stupid questions in a patient way. I would never go anywhere else again.

Been going here for a couple years now they are very knowledgeable mechanics. Bonus if you have a Jeep with issues they'll diagnose that in a country minute.

Since we moved to Naperville we used these guys for our car. They are honest and professional. Several times we walked away with minor adjustments at no charge. Although they may need to order parts, they do a good job and stand behind their work. We are moving to Colorado and I'm really worried we aren't ever going to find mechanics like these again. Thanks for eleven good years, Maximum. Five Stars!

I brought my sons car here and its a German car so its very expensive to repair. I went in for a tune up and after it was put on the rack I was told the control arms were bad. I was advised not to even drive it due to it being unsafe. He took me in back and showed me the control arms and explained everything thoroughly to me where I could understand.

After making the repairs (which ended up being a very reasonable price) my sons car drove like it was new. Absolutely LOVE that he took the time to look over my car and kept my son safe. I will be a repeat customer if I ever need work done again!

Went to Maximum for a wheel alignment ($89) on the recommendation of Discount Tire, which does not do alignments. After having the car on the lift for a while, Jeremy informed me that I had several problems. He claimed I had a broken belt on one of my tires, but the major problem was a leaky left front strut. He stated I would need to replace both front struts ($700) before he could do an alignment. Oh, and I should replace the tire, too.

I asked him to show me the evidence of his assessment. The car was still on the lift. He showed me the "uneven wear" on the outside edge of the left/front tire and compared it to the inside edge. I felt both areas. I'm no mechanic, but there was no difference. He also showed me some hairline cracks on the outer edge of the tire which he said were also caused by the broken belt.

He then showed me the "leaking fluid" from the strut. I felt the "fluid" residue. I've never felt strut fluid, but I'm assuming it would have to have some of the properties of fluids like ATF, oil, brake, or hydraulic fluid, all of which I have experience with. This residue had no such feel, and felt like moisture kicked up from the road (it was snowing on my drive there.) I then felt the moisture on the right front (non-leaky) strut.

Same watery feel as the left front. I told Jeremy I'd get back to him. The next day I went to Beckers (75th & Plainfield-Naperville Rd.) and did not tell them about Maximum's diagnosis. Got a wheel alignment, they corrected the toe on the right front wheel, no claim of a leaky strut or worn tire, in-and-out in an hour. I told a friend who spent 15 years in the tire industry about Maximum's evidence of the "broken belt." He described the true signs of a broken belt (and noted that they are relatively unusual these days.) He certainly did not recommend that I replace the tire or the strut.

I won't tell you what he really said. I have lived in Naperville for 24 years and have had various cars serviced at Naper Auto Works, Our Team, Certified, DJ's, and others, always based on recommendations of friends. Maximum has been in business 20 years - how come I've never heard of them? Sorry Maximum. I'm not as dumb as I look.
