According to Michigan Law (PA 300 of 1974), you, as owner of the vehicle, are entitled to choose where your vehicle will be repaired. Your insurance company may provide you with a list of possible repair facilities, but cannot insist that the work be done at a particular shop. Any facility you consider should adhere to the strict requirements that Mason Auto Body maintains: Licensed with the Michigan Department of State, provide a written estimate, auto body technicians as well as service writers certified in Unitized Body Structural Repair by the Michigan Department of State (look for posted licenses), Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) trained, I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference of Auto Collision Repair) Certifications, provide a written warranty, and maintain a garage keepers liability policy to cover your vehicle while it is in the shop's care, custody and control.

My husband had some damage to his car and our insurance recommended this place. Their hours were great so we could drop off his vehicle before work. They kept us up to date. They had a quick turn around and quality work. And to our surprise they even detailed the inside of his car. It was MUCH needed and a very pleasant surprise. Great work! Highly recommend!

Came in to replace a fractured bumper after an accident. They just pushed it back in and didnt overquote us at all. The service was quick and very good. Highly recommend this place.

Have had both minor and major body work done here. Last wrk was a few yrs ago. They do high quality work at a reasonable price. Last repair had a little hood opening glitch I discovered a few days later. Went back and explained the problem. Several guys looked it over and came up with a novel solution. Impressive skill level and customer service.

I had what I thought was a minor accident and scratched and dented the side of my car. I knew exactly who I was taking my car too for it to be fixed. Jeff and his team were amazing, they handled all of the back end paperwork and I didn't have to do much at all. They stayed exactly within the scheduled timeframe of completion. Oh! And when I picked up my car not only did it look brand new again but my car was completely detailed. I truly felt like I bought a brand new car and was taking it home. I highly suggest Mason Auto Body for your car needs!

My Honda HRV got a big oak tree branch through the windshield. The car was not drivable. Because it has Driver Assist cruise sensors had to be checked and recalibrated. Couldn't be done at an auto glass place. After not getting answers from glass shops and insurance the Honda dealer suggested Mason Auto Body. By now several days and a long weekend had passed and another long weekend was in the offing.

The people at Mason Auto Body Repair gave me straight answers and kept me informed of progress. Car was done, washed and cleaned and waiting for me early on the day ptomised.

Mason Auto Body fixed my car after I hit a deer on the freeway. They were excellent to work with, my car is perfect, and they got $6700 worth of work done so quickly! They were great at staying in contact with me and my insurance company. 10/10 would recommend!

I would not recommend them to anyone and will never go back there again. They had my car for about a month and a half when it should have been done in two weeks. I had to initiate all the calls to follow up on progress. They never called on the day and time they said they would. There was MULTIPLE delays which wasn't communicated till the day before or the day of, and again only because I reached out to them and not the other way around.

When I finally got the car, the work on the body itself was good. But the Service Needed light came on not 5 minutes after I had left the shop. The heat shield wasn't bolted in, and I had to exit off the interstate to zip tie it up because it was scraping the road. My alarm system no longer worked. Overall bad experience! Do not go here!

Scheduled an appointment with Mason Auto Body a month prior to the actual repair. I dropped my car off and received a voicemail stating I never had an appointment to begin with. I even confirmed this repair appointment with my insurance company as they faxed over the necessary paperwork to the auto shop. They had my car for a total of 7 days and it was a small repair (small dent in front bumper).

After speaking to the Manager about my concerns, I was told that they were trying their best to get the car repaired as soon as possible, he also tried to advise me that I would owe a $500 deductible (which was completely false), my insurance company verified with me that I would not owe any amount towards a deductible and were concerned why the body shop would even mention it.

When arriving to pick up my car, we inspected the repair and once inside, I started my vehicle that then began to make strange noises/shake and the check engine light was on ( I will add my car has never had the engine light appear in the last two year I've owned it). One of the managers plugged my car into a computer for diagnostic testing, telling me it was an engine miss-fire and cleared the engine light and said "it's ready to go". I'm frustrated with the fact that my car now has mechanical issues that it did not have prior to dropping it off with this auto body shop. Please be very cautious when working with Mason Auto Body! I will not be back for any future repairs!
