You got three stars due to an unpleasant experience over the phone with someone. Don't have to be in your shop to review your business. There is no hiding. this is why this service exists. for reviews. have nothing to call you for first time was bad enough. And as an owner your awful brave to criticize a local just because of a three star review. Maybe I should make it two stars.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with both of my cars here. I would rate higher if possible. I first dropped off a 1999 Lexus GS300 that ended up needing a lot more work than I thought. They provided me with all of the information of the repairs and even gave me a fair recommendation on if I should save the car or not. In the end, Jeremy and I both agreed that the car should be saved due to it's rarity.

The next car I brought in was a 2014 Honda Civic Si coupe. It didn't need too much other than an alignment and brakes, and a caliper, but Jeremy once again gave me all the info I needed to make a decision. I agreed to have them fix everything needed on the Civic and when I got it back, it ran better than before I came in! The TPMS light was still on, but that is due to the recent cold temperatures, so that wasn't a surprise to me.

I applaud the professionalism of the staff, including Lydia and Jeremy, whom both I had direct communication with. I will definitely be back to my favorite independent shop in Sunnyland for my future car necessities. Michal

Fixed correctly for estimate quoted. Had several things done at once. All diagnoses and repairs correct. Friendly people. Repaired on schedule. 2013 Impala. I'd service car there again. Friends recommended. Less expensive than the dealer would have been. Didn't have to take it back twice for same repair as I have had to with the dealer. They seem quite skilled in that some of the mechanical issues required a diagnosis.

Great service, clean, and timely. Took my car in to have tires replaced and they put me on their schedule very quickly! A few months later I had a nail in my tire and was losing air and they patched it up for free! I would recommend trusting Martin Automotive with your vehicle. Service: Tires

I've been very pleased with Jeremy and the Martin team for all my auto repair and diagnostic needs over the last 4 years (since I've been in the Peoria-area). Jeremy, in particular, has been extremely transparent and honest. He even recommended other businesses for a specialized exhaust repair to help me save a few bucks in a pinch; which spoke volumes about his dedication to taking care of customers.

That example and other honest conversations have earned my loyalty and respect. I've never felt exploited or pressured with up selling. One of my first times working with them I was questioning some suspension-related diagnoses that they threw at me. Being a skeptic and somewhat mechanically-inclined, I jacked up the car at home and everything they described was accurate. One of the few businesses I've ever taken the time to review. Can't recommend them enough!

Brought my car in yesterday with concerns about the brakes. Many service places would see this as a great opportunity to "find" issues with someone's vehicle, so I was kind of expecting a nice bill but figured better to let them fix whatever is wrong. Anyway, the call came about 2 hours after I dropped it off, and to my surprise they said the only thing that it needed was a good lube, which they did as part of the inspection, and said I needed wipers (which was accurate). On top of that, they even offered to come pick me up when the work was done. All in all, great experience. Thanks!

The service is great. Work seems to be done to level as expected. They seem to over charge for the Napa parts they use. I got a quote on the part then found it on Napa's website for half the price. All 3 parts I found for half the price. They say these are the prices they get charged but seems odd to me. Not sure I will be back for the double the part price. Other than that I was happy but I felt ripped off on that.
