Every time I bring a car to Manning I leave happy this garage and these people are in our town. Every single time. I just had to pause to write this review and express my gratitude.

I used to work at Manning about 10 years ago and I still keep up with them. Mike has always ran a great shop, and the mechanics there are very experienced and know what they're doing. To the people who complain about the prices, you get what you pay for. If you want quality work done at a reputable shop, then bring it to Manning and Son, because those cheaper shops can cost you a lot more in the long run.

I would let anyone know that this business is honest and trustworthy. I have had several vehicles fixed there. Just recently my wife's SUV lost all its oil and Manning and Sons found the problem and fixed it in what I would say record time. I knew when I called the Wrecker Service where I wanted her vehicle to go. I will continue to do business with them in the the future because they have earned my trust!

Manning and son has always gone above and beyond. The receptionist, China, is super helpful and always calls me for updates. Good prices and good service and very fast!

I'm glad many have gotten 5 star service from Manning & Son but my experience was not as good. I had a busted passenger side mirror on my truck so I stopped by there to get a quote on what it would take to get it fixed. Everyone there was very friendly and seemed to want to help. The guy went out, looked at the mirror, came back and said he'd call next day with a quote.

Next day no call. On the 3rd business day I got a call saying the part was in so come on in. I called back and told them I didn't want a new mirror ordered until I got a quote for the whole job. I was told the new mirror cost $89 and the labor would be $111. Total $200. I told them that was out of my price range. I ordered a mirror from Amazon for $37 and replaced it myself in about 20 minutes saving $163. I'm wondering if my job was too small and they just wanted to scare me away or were they trying to gouge me for a big profit on a small job. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

I was so worried when the mechanic I used for years retired. I thought I would not find another company as reliable but I found the folks at Manning & Sons. My car blew a line and dumped all of the coolant. I was southbound on the interstate when it happened. I coasted off the exit ramp and stopped at a gas station convenience store. I called a local wrecker and waited for them to arrive. A random man walks by and made a casual comment about my situation. I told him I was from out of state and was going to be towed.

He told me that his mechanic is Mike Manning and I should take mine there. He had a glowing review of Manning and Son so I considered his advice. I confirmed with the wrecker driver that I was not making a poor choice. The wrecker dropped my car at Mike's place at almost 4:30 PM. Mike told me that he understood that I was from out of town and trying to get home.

He assured me that they would look at it first thing in the morning. I got a call with a diagnosis and an estimate 29 minutes after they opened the garage. Less than three hours after they opened the garage my car was ready for pickup. When I arrived I paid my tab and asked if the tech could walk out and look at the work with me. The mechanic pointed out the parts that were replaced and answered my questions. I am so grateful that I selected this garage. I was back on the road before lunch. I highly recommend Manning and Son. I had a noise coming from the rear of the car especially when it was in reverse. I had been told of about 3 different issues that it could be, all were expensive. When Manning &Sons called and said it was ready, I couldn't believe it. Somehow water had collected in the rear and there was a coke can sloshing around making the noise. Just imagine all the different things they could have told me it was and I never would have known the difference. Wow!

And could have told me it would cost hundreds of dollars; but he didn't. When people can easily take advantage of you and they do not; that's the kind of business we all want in today's time. Thank y'all.

Always, ALWAYS great customer service and great work on all our vehicles. Have been taking my cars to Manning & Son for over 20 years. When no one could get my Infiniti G35 to pass emissions, he was able to determine the problem and the car passed. It's a family run business with employees who have been with the shop for years. Very quick to determine the problem with our cars, quick to get back with me and then very quick to complete the repairs. I can't say enough about this repair shop AAAAA ALL THE WAY

I had to make an unplanned trip to see family knowing my car was overdue for an oil change. Then on my drive, my brakes started squealing. I began to worry about where I'd find a trustworthy and affordable place to have my car work and repairs done. To my surprise, my family member said they had a great place they use and have for years. I was referred to Manning and Son.

I popped in to inquire about my vehicle needs. From the moment I walked in and got an estimate I knew this place would take great care of me and my car. I returned the next day to drop my car off and made plans to leave it longer than quoted; just in case. They did an oil change, all 4 brakes and tire rotation for the quoted price and it was not long before I received a call I was ready to go.

This repair shop was referred to me by a cousin. We had just move here from another city and had two cars that needed repair work done. This is a family business. We found them to be thorough and honest. They do good work and stand behind their work. They are not the most expensive but are not the cheapest either BUT know what they are doing when it comes to auto repairs! I found their charges to be reasonable. I would highly recommend this shop and will be back again if needed.

Mike and his team are first rate mechanics. I've known and used them for over 15 years and recommend them without hesitation. Honest, punctual and skilled. The best in the area!
