Leon Reed opened the doors to his first small shop in Reseda, CA in 1960, where he specialized in automatic transmission repair. Within a short time, Leon and his staff built a reputation for providing quality transmission services, fair prices and a passion for customer service. Leon's partner, Henry Springer, grew the business to seven locations, with the help of several key employees.

I am very happy with the service and communication I received from Leon's Transmission. I would recommend them to anyone needing Transmission work done. Transmission repair is extremely expensive and finding the cheapest garage is not always the best decision. You can depend on Leon's quality work at a fair price.

I brought my 2015 Lexus GS 350 F sport for a transmission service. Awesome prices amazing customer service they had everything in stock ready to work on the car. Most shops don't wanna work on this car But at Leon's transmission they have trained technicians That don't have any problem working on this type of car, Plus I didn't have a ride back home and they gave me one super cool! Worst service I ever had. They charged me $700 to change the shift module in my transmission. Two week later I brought it back for bad performance for them to tell me that my transmission was fine. A week after that the transmission was completely destroyed. And all they could tell me was that I would have to bring it to them out of my own pocket so that they can take the transmission apart and I would still have to pay them labor to inspect it.
