Very good service and a very good process. I had two sources previously recommend Lamettry's to me for body work. I brought my car in because I was door dinged by someone who failed to leave a note. There was considerable damage on my door in three separate spots where the paint was removed. Aaron walked me through the process and gave me a fair quote. When I got my car back it looked great. You couldn't tell the areas had been previously dented or painted over. I recommend using Lamettry's for your body work and painting.

Went in for auto body repairs to my front bumper caused by an accident. They connected directly with my insurance provider to work out numbers and made the process quick and easy on my end. Brought my car there to be repaired after getting jerked around by Caliber Collision. It was a completely different experience: Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They were able to help me with my car within a week as opposed to a timeline of months from Caliber. They will be my go-to shop for vehicle repairs from now.

They did an excellent job repairing multiple areas on my car. This included replacing and repairing parts and painting. My car looks brand new and was delivered spotless inside and out. Also I really appreciated all the attention to detail provided by Brandon who stayed on top of all the paperwork and payments from the insurance company. Highly recommend this company for any repairs needed on your vehicle.

LaMettry's repaired my vehicle after my accident. I had multiple people suggest going to them for the repairs. The work that needed to be done was very extensive and when I picked up my vehicle, it looked as though it had never been in a collision! Their work is phenomenal. It was my first time there and is for sure my go-to if I'm ever in an accident again. Aaron was very helpful and sent me updates almost weekly.

He was super easy to communicate with and kept me in the loop about everything going on. He's great at what he does and is someone you can trust. I can't thank LaMettry's enough for their beautiful and hard work! I am so happy with the repair and also to have my vehicle back :

I had an absolutely amazing experience here. The staff is so nice and texts updates frequently so you always know the status of your vehicle. They did a great job at fixing my truck. They communicated with me all along the way and their service and support was excellent. They even went above and beyond and returned my truck like new (wash, vacuum, cleaning, touch-ups etc.). I would highly recommend Brandon and the entire team. Brady and Milton did a fantastic job with the inside and outside detailing of our SUV. They were very pleasant and helpful to work with. Our SUV came out looking as if it was brand new again. Tried to do an online estimate but was told to come in to get a precise estimate. Made an appointment, my wife arrived on time and was ignored for 35 minutes while the staff had a meeting and then other customers were helped. Owner was parked in front of the estimation bay. Really gave the impression of a dysfunctional family owned business. There are lots of other collision repair shops, I plan to use one of them.

Can't say enough about LaMettry's. I needed to have a door replaced and brought my car in there. They did an excellent job, and kept me informed on the progress of my car. I am thoroughly pleased with the job they did, and would use them again if I had another problem.

LaMettry's Richfield - I had a small paint job for them respraying my bumper that was chipped and sandblasted from the area road construction debris. I was told this would take 1 day or possible 2. After 2 days, I hadn't heard anything from them and so I called. The front desk staff Shiela was very rude on the phone: She started to talk to someone else in the office while I was on the line.

Then she put me on hold. When she returned to the call she told me the car had just been painted that afternoon. As soon as I started to speak, she talked over me very loud and would not let me talk. I wanted to ask when the car would be done since it was talking a bit longer. Shiela hung up. Then the manager Mike got on the line. I explained what happened.

I said: "I think it's reasonable to ask a simple question about how long the car will be needed without being interrupted." He agreed. I picked up the car the next day. Shiela apologized, but then made a bunch of excuses stating: "I didn't hang up on you." Very odd, unhelpful and rude. The new paint was average, with a bunch of areas that are not smooth and show paint globs or cracks. Not impressed by the staff or the work. I have used them twice before and I expected much better.

I had some minor paint work that needed to be done on the passenger door and long scratch down to the metal with a dent on the driver front fender of my 2017 Mazda 6. I got several estimates, and even though LaMettry's was not the cheapest it seemed the most professional and was close to the cheapest--which was important since I was not going through insurance.

The estimate process itself was very quick, professional and clear. I brought the car in on a Wednesday and got it back the next Tuesday and the work was beautifully done. My car is a red tri-color that the other places I got estimates from said was very difficult to paint evenly. They nailed it--and the final bill was right inline with the estimate. I definitely recommend bringing any work you need done here! Thanks a million!

My experience with LaMettry's was excellent. They were very helpful when I dropped off the car, maintained frequent communication updates and were again very helpful when I picked it up. The repair work looks beautiful. They worked directly with my Insurance Co so I didn't have to do anything. I recommend LaMettry's for any repair work your car needs. I hope I never need them again, but if I do, I'll go back to them!

Horrible customer service. Went to the Richfield location for an estimate and was told they would email me the estimate that afternoon. Received the estimate and was told if I wanted to go ahead with the work to let him know and he would get the part ordered. That's when things went bad. Replied right away that I wanted to go ahead with the work and then never could get a response from him again. Sent several emails with little or no response.

If there was a response it was maybe one word if he even decided to reply at all. Took my business elsewhere! Was a repeat customer but not any longer. Went somewhere cheaper and who got the work done in a week!

They have had our car for almost a month. The owner had to go to the maplewood location to make sure it got done that week and we are still waiting till monday. The lack of customer service, car service, and general accountability is crazy here. Other people's insurance companies reimbursing people for using them. We had to tell not to bother with the windshield cause they have not even started it after 3 weeks. What a crap business

These guys are the best! I've used them twice in the past for repairs on my Acura after being rear ended - the work was timely and flawless. More recently I stopped in after noticing some mystery paint/scratches on my side door, and they kindly buffed most of it off saving me an expensive paint job. Would not hesitate to recommend to others!

Very poor communication from drop off to pick up. Inquired multiple times on an update status. Left multiple phone numbers to be reached at with ladies at front desk. Over the two weeks my car was being serviced, I did not hear from them once. The last time I called, I was told that my car had been done. When I picked up my car they told me they must of had the wrong number, however on the printed invoice it was stated correctly. Hmmm?

If you value honestly and customer service, would look at taking your car elsewhere. Can't speak yet on the quality of work, however would note poor customer service and communication throughout my service.

The bodywork was okay, but they keep sending me text messages and the work was done weeks ago. Surveys and feedback requests. All I wanted was some bodywork done, not to be pestered constantly through my phone. If you use them, do not give them any more contact information than the bare minimum or they'll annoy you too. They also finished a day layer than promised and the final bill was $800 above the estimate. I recommend you avoid these people. Thank goodness my deductible is low.

I was rear ended on the highway and the damage was quite extensive. I was stressed and couldn't imagine anything worse to deal with! LaMettrys Auto was SO HELPFUL, SO KIND, SO KNOWLEDGEABLE, and SO ACCOMMODATING, that my stress and worry vanished with the first interaction. I'm so grateful that when catastrophe strikes there are people who still value customer service and make my experience not only stress free, but actually enjoyable.

This place is great and honest. I came here this morning to fix a slight body problem with my Prius after I hit the curb yesterday. Was a minor issue but my mechanic, Grandview Tire & Auto, recommended I take it to this shop, so I did. They fixed it in 5 minutes for free. I have about a 6 inch small crease on my door that I wanted to get an estimate for. Went there because they said they do paintless dent repair. I wanted to see if the cost to have the dent repaired was less than my $500 deductible. First thing I was asked when I went through the door was who is your insurance company? Then an associate came out and looked at the door.

First he said he could probably fix it at about 80 perfect. I was ok with that. I said give me the price. Then he took a picture of the dent and brought it inside and apparently showed someone the dent. Came back out and said he was told that the dent couldn't be fixed by paintless dent repair and it would cost $1,200.00. Uh huh, sounds like an insurance gouge to me.

Before the sun rose on National Ice Cream Day (July 20th), some jerk-face drove around Minneapolis and used hefty soccer ball-sized rocks to smash the front windshields of black Honda Civics. Mine was not spared. Not only did the glass look like a drunk frat boy had cannonballed into it, but also (I believe) the weapon of mass destruction (rock) rolled off the window and scratched and dented the hood on its way down to the ground. Needless to say, the damage on my car left it inoperable, and if I ever find who did this, that person will receive a Timberland roundhouse kick or Rising Dragon Uppercut (http://bit.ly/1rQJCSl) to the face by yours truly.

Several hours later, I called the Minneapolis Police (who did nothing) and my insurance agent. My insurance agent and I met up a couple days later, and one of the first questions she asked was, "Have you ever gotten body work on your car? If so, where?" The first business that populated in my mind was LaMettry's, since I used them about a year ago when some crappy person scratched my car backing out in my apartment's parking lot. #donthavethebestluck4real Within a couple hours, my Civic was toed to LaMettry's Richfield-Bloomington location.

My ride sat in the shop for eight days, and during that time, several communication breakdowns occurred: -One day, I had two different people call me within a four-hour period telling me the same news. -When I called each day and asked when my car would be finished, a representative would tell me a different date and time. -There was never a mention of the deductible that I had to pay. -One time, I was transferred to five different people to answer one question.

The person that ended up answering my question happened to be the first person that transferred me. #ridiculous Not to mention, when I arrived in the lobby and approached the receptionists, today, one of them made eye contact with me, then quickly looked away and decided to call someone on the phone to discuss a personal issue. Rude. Thankfully, the other receptionist was kind enough to help me.

So you're probably thinking, how is this a four-star review? After the receptionist fetched another staff member, he showed me out to my car. And when I saw my car, it seemed like all of the minor annoyances fled my mind. The work on my ride was Heath-Ledger's-acting-in-The-Dark-Knight immaculate: -My spanking new window didn't have a speck of dust on it and beautifully glimmered in the sun.

I wanted to hug it so bad! But, it's too wide and that's just weird. -Regarding the bodywork, the staff removed ALL of the dents and scratches from my hood. -The new paint blended very well into the rest of my car. -I also learned that all damage exceeding $5000 (ouch) receive a complimentary shampooing. I appreciated that. *** Despite the frustrating communication breakdown and rude receptionist, I still trust LaMettry's. It's kind of like focusing on the irritating characteristics of your girlfriend, but forgetting that she makes a mean fried rice and watches football with you.

I hope that 1) there isn't a next time and 2) if there is, they can improve their communication by being more transparent about the status of my car. All in all, I recommend that you get any auto glass or body work done at LaMettry's.

I had a wheel that needed to be repaired. I had scheduled a rental car that was to be delivered at 9am.but at 9:30am there was no rental insight (the rental company was overbooked, and was way behind.) I needed to get to work, and I asked if the repair could be done while I waited. Robin and Becca worked to make it happen, and in 1-1/2 hours I was out the door with my wheel repaired!

Even though the rental car company was not LaMettry's fault, Robin and Becca took ownership and treated me with urgency and care (even let me borrow a desk to work while I waited). Thank you! I would recommend this place.what unparalleled customer service.

I had several large scratches on my car from a parking garage pole. The Audi dealership recommended LaMettry's so I stopped by for a quote. I told them that the car had a lot of milage so I wasn't going to invest too much money into the repair, but that I still wanted to try to cover the spot since it was on my front bumper. Mike understood and said he'd first try to buff out what he could. 15 minutes later and you could barely tell and when I asked the price he said free of charge because he had already had the buffer out. I would definitely recommend this location because based on my experience they are very honest, kind, and know what they are doing.
