Kombi Haus

Visited to this shop 2 times and each time my check engine light comes on. And parts are missing. Went to dealership and they have informed me it takes special tools to work on my vehicle.

In town from across the country. Fast oil change, super friendly service. Awesome collection of vehicles in the shop. Cheyne went above and beyond - solid advice for some dieselgate warranty stuff, and forwarded over pictures of the leaking turbo seal. 10/10

Took my 1970 vintage Karmann Ghia to Kombi Haus after two other shops attempted to get my car up and running. They were a waste of money. Kombi Haus on the other hand is the BEST shop in Sacramento for Volkswagen repairs, in my opinion. Justin and his crew had the problem diagnosed and resolved in record time. They were very reasonably priced for their outstanding work as well. The best of all worlds. Thank you guys so much. Can't say enough praise for this company. A plus rating.

Growing up in Germany this place for me is like a time travel back to my hometown. Super nice People and they 150% know German cars. I highly recommend this place if you care about your German. Keep up the great work.

I went to Kombi Haus after Niello Audi gave me a quote that seemed a bit ridiculous. I wanted an honest second opinion and was referred to Kombi Haus by an acquaintance of mine. I am glad I went here! They were able to fix the most immediate problem at a fraction of the cost (and I'm sure with more care than Niello). After I picked up my car I thought there was another issue that needed to be addressed and they told me to come right back. Turns out it was a non-issue but Justin still took time to walk around my car with me and patiently explain some aspects of my car to watch for in the future. Super appreciate the solid work and friendly service! Will be taking my car here for all future check-ups and issues!

Classic VW's to new and modern. Body work to all levels of mechanical work, Kombi Haus should be on your list of go to places. Kind, honest people with your car/bus needs in mind. I bring my VW's from out of state and never regret the trips. My 1970 bus and my 1971 DBL cab love it here. If they would work on my Trucks, I'd bring them too

Ladies (and gents) - listen up because this is your automotive shop! These guys are great! I had to get a bunch of work done, I priced them against others and they were very reasonable. But more importantly, they presented me with options, and helped me make the best decision for me- invaluable. They got the work done quickly, were in good communication with me, and I've had NO follow up problems with my car. I trust them - what a great feeling! Give these guys a try!

So far, I'm very impressed. They answer the phone, call back, and follow through. I got the tour today. They have a very solid and amazingly complete (almost over the top) operation for Vanagons and Westy's (other VWs, Porsches too). My impression is that no job is too big, and I mean NO JOB! I'll update later once they finish with some suspension mods on my 2wd Westy.

Had pretty much the worst possible thing happen to my car; my timing belt slipped and totally bricked my engine. Kombi Haus saved my life! They were able to source a used engine in great condition and got it installed for a very reasonable price considering the amount of work they had to do. Huge shout out to Patrick and Shane, they were awesome to work with and got me on the road again in no time! Ill be recommending these guys to anyone and everyone that ever needs work on their VW's!

We've taken our daughters VW battle here a couple times. Higher priced than most shops we've gone to. but they're very knowledgeable about VDubs. Nearby coffee shops convenient to walk to while waiting for car.

Excellent customer service and care. Newell was extremely helpful and followed up every day on the status of my car. I would recommend them to anybody who has a VW or Audi and if anything ever happens or goes wrong with our car game will be sure to go back!

Great shop, the service writer/advisor was extremely knowledgeable of what my car was doing and what needed to be fixed, he even said what was needed for repairs, his technician confirmed it, and had it fixed while I waited! Everyone there is extremely nice, and I never feel like I've been ripped off or anything like that. They're reasonable with pricing compared to other shops including the dealership, and get your car fixed quickly and neatly. I'll definitely be back!

Justin went beyond the "call of duty" when our car, 1974 Super Beetle, got damaged in an accident. He worked willingly and smoothly with several parties, including the insurance company, to keep it from being designated a total loss. He delivered excellent service for the repair of the body and repair/maintenance of the "under the hood" parts of the car.

He has a quality shop with excellent employees. Justin is a smart business man with a heart! He is a people person who has been in love with VWs for years. You know your "baby" is loved when visiting Kombi Haus!

A few weeks ago some schmuck decided they were going to treat my 2012 GTI to a key special. I couldn't live with it and so I proceeded to take the necessary steps in filing an insurance claim. I took the car into the shop, they assessed the damage and gave me two estimates; the holy shit estimate and the good-enough-for-me estimate. My car was in the shop within a few days. Dropped it off at 7:30AM, work was done by 3PM. Miguel had buffed, polished and painted the key damage (and some other damage that appeared as if from nowhere) and it was like nothing was ever there.

Then washed my car. He did a stellar job. Went around the corner to submit the invoice and pay for the damages. It was actually pretty damn busy, but Newell rang me up as soon as he could and I was finally back in my baby. The staff is funny, courteous, concise and prompt. Not only that, but when I was getting my estimate written up, I was standing in the driveway for a while and one of the shop dudes came out and brought me a chair! Hella sweet. The best thing was, the good-enough-for-me estimate was $100 less than my deductible, so I didn't even need to file a claim. #boom
