Waited 2 months for them to work on my ZR1. Bring it in the morning of the appointment and they said they cannot work on the car because it is getting stuck in reverse. Partly because of the accident. Lost out on a $8k insurance job. Very sad because I had heard such good things about this company.

I was so nervous having so much work done on my car, but holy moly, these people NAILED it. I'm impressed with the updates, the customer service, the quality of work and attention to detail. Greg was so kind and every call I got from them was so pleasant. Seriously the best experience. They over-estimated how long my car would take so I was pleasantly surprised when they called saying it was done earlier than anticipated.

I was expecting it to be longer than I was anticipating. Seriously, use Kenny Hawkins. They were terrific. Friendly people, and I feel like I got way better service than I would have at one of the bigger companies. My car looks great, drives great, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you!

Crumpled the front end of my car, my mechanic - First Class Automotive - recommended Kenny Hawkins Automotive. Chris and Cory were thorough and professional while giving me good advice about dealing with my insurance carrier. They inspected the vehicle and gave me an estimate that confirmed the 'Total Loss' that my insurance carrier had suggested. I felt very comfortable with them from start to finish. Very well done!

Our daughter hit a parked car recently and caused enough damage to take it to Kenny Hawkins for an estimate and repair. We had been there once before to fix some cosmetic damage on my wife's car and we were very pleased with that work. We cannot say enough about the professional and great quality workmanship on both cars. If you're ever in need of a body shop to fix you car we highly recommend Kenny Hawkins. Kudos to Corey Fisher, the office staff and the repairmen.

Without a doubt Kenny Hawkins is the best body shop in Raleigh. Everyone who works there is incredibly talented and honest. Our family has taken numerous cars to Hawkins over the years, and every time, their work has been FLAWLESS. A few reviews criticize Hawkins for their higher prices than average. While this has not been my experience, I can tell you the work they do compared to other body shops in Raleigh more than justifies their prices. Their ability to match paint and panels is unlike any I've seen at other shops.

Backed my vehicle into something on a dark and rainy evening and took it to these guys - per recommendation of another business I frequent. While certainly not a crime, the bunch working here don't know how to be friendly and quickly ended up bashing my insurance company (State Farm) saying they were the most difficult to work with. Then came the quote - $5900 with a footnote saying they will likely find more damage when they take it apart and to be prepared for the price to go up 20-25%.

While I understand what they were saying about some damage not being visible, the price was high to begin with, and the amount they expected it to go up was *awfully specific*. Went to another shop further south who only quoted $4200 and also stated it was possible for additional damage to be found, but didn't give us a lofty percentage. We agreed for them to repair, and final bill was $4330 due to minor additional damage found during the repairs. I'm not sure why such a large cost difference - If I was State Farm or any insurance company, I'd be asking questions about why Kenny Hawkins' pricing is elevated.

Perhaps that's what Kenny Hawkins doesn't like - the insurance company asking questions when they provide those elevated prices. After all, that does tend to get in the way (or slow down the process) of Kenny Hawkins extracting cash from the insurance company. Cannot recommend Kenny Hawkins based on their elevated pricing, their rudeness about MY choice of insurance agency, their mockery of the condition of my vehicle, and their clearly stated plan to significantly raise my total price after they begin work (since I'd be handcuffed to them at that point). Do yourself a favor and find another auto-body shop with decently-behaving and customer-focused human beings in it.

I had a car accident a month ago with my 2003 Lexus, it was my father's who passed away 2 years ago. unfortunately, the insurance company said it would cost too much to repair and wrote us a check for the salvage value. The car was all I had left from my father, I could not give it up. Other repair shops would not touch it, or the esitmates were quite high.

My boss told me to use Kenny Hawkins Automotive. Within days, I was at the shop with the car, Chris looked at the car, and said they were able to work with it and our budget. The car war fixed within 2 weeks, it looked like a brand new car. They went above and beyond to mske it look showroom new! I have never had a repair shop that has done that before. They are honest and very professional, they kept me up to date via email to let me know the progress, I was amazed at that! They are tops in my book!

Great initial service. Unfortunately my car was ready later than told and not inspected for quality. I had to bring it back a SECOND time to get it right. I also paid FULL price, which I didn't mind for the first visit. I felt that a return visit was not indicative of FULL price value. I do applaud them for getting it right the second time. I would return to them for future work, but I learned to inspect the car VERY WELL before submitting any payment.

I never would have paid for a sorry initial job. I assumed based on Acura's nod to take it here and the Google reviews I was ok so I paid before inspecting the work. Lesson learned.

Just picked up my VW beetle from Kenny Hawkins. The car looks brand new! Paint is a perfect match. Jim did great work! Chris the service mgr was super to work with! Very courteous and knowledgeable! Surely recommend KH for auto body repair!

I called to ask about repair work on my car, and the man who answered the phone was rude, and with an unwelcoming air in his tone. Sorry, I am taking my business elsewhere.

I took my Lexus here b/c my insurance agent recommended them. They replaced the front and rear bumpers with new and repainted the rear quarter panel. State Farm's estimate came in much lower than their quote, but they convinced me that it was normal and that they would get them to pay the difference. After my car was already apart I found out that State Farm wouldn't budge.

I ended up paying the difference out of pocket. As far as the actual work. there's orange peel and other junk in the paint! It looks like an amateur painted my car! I gave them an opportunity to make it right once, but won't be going back a third time! Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience!

DON'T USE THESE GUYS! The paint work is terrible. Overspray and orange peel finish. Charged me fornew parts and fixed instead No stars for this place:-Tool out to another shop for repairs after they fixed it.

A while back my mother in law got a door ding in her BRAND NEW car with the fancy tri-coat paint job. I asked around and a buddy suggested Kenny Hawkins. They did a great job on that one! Then my sun roof started to leak and I thought that the seal had shot craps. I took it to Kenny Hawkins and they suggested that I blow the sun roof's drain lines out (I didn't even realize that they had drain lines!) Anyway, I was fully prepared to pay a couple of hundred dollars in order to have the sun roof resealed, but the blowing of the lines fixed the problem for free!

Then a couple of weeks ago my wife got rear ended and we took her car to Kenny Hawkins to get it fixed and they did a wonderful job! First class customer service, handling everything! Very nice to be treated so well! Thanks! Bob

I decided to take my Audi A4 in to Kenny Hawkins after someone backed up into it and damaged my bumper. The whole experience from beginning to end was fantastic and the work was finished in just a few days. Everyone in the office I dealt with was fantastic but I was most impressed with Chris' level of service throughout the repair. He was super easy to deal with, responded to my emails very quickly, and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. That level of service is hard to find nowadays, especially in the auto repair industry. I couldn't have asked for a better body shop experience. Thanks guys!

I've been here twice to receive estimates for two separate services for body repair and on both occasions, the staff was helpful, kind and honest. Heather, in particular, was great to work with. She was sincere in explaining what the mechanics could do to make sure I wasn't overspending. I felt confident that I wouldn't get ripped off.

I just had one of the jobs completed and am very satisfied by the quality of work. It was basically to reattach a side of my rear bumper which had popped out and to replace a fog light that had cracked. There were some scratches visible on the front bumper near the fog light and Heather was upfront that it would drive up costs if I wanted to paint over the scratches.

I appreciated her honest opinion in reassuring me that the scratches weren't really visible and that I should forego the extra costs of painting for such an unnoticeable detail. I would highly recommend going here for body work, or at least to receive a more than fair estimate on the costs of repairs.

New to the area I was unsure where to take my NSX for quality and trustworthy service. The rates were extremely fair and they didn't ring me out to dry for bringing in a semi-exotic car and the odometer didn't move so there was no joyriding which is also comforting. The work was completed in the timeline as planned. Corey was my service advisor and was extremely professional and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I will definitely be a lifetime client.

After being rear-ended, I came here on the recommendation of my dealership. I have to say, this place was most excellent. Extremely courteous and prompt. I brought my car in for an estimate (appointment only) and they gave me something they said was most likely higher than what the insurance company would give me. Then they said all I would have to do is sign over my insurance check and then they'd take care of getting the difference.

The idea of not having to fight the insurance company any more made me happy. Although they are booked far in advance (it took me about a month of waiting), the job was professional and quickly done. When I got there to pick it up, my car was sparkling - both inside and out. I drive an Acura RSX and the woman who rear-ended me also crumpled the bottom corner of my hatch door - big enough to bother me, tiny enough that a hatch door replacement shouldn't be needed.

I didn't know how they were going to fix that one but somehow they did and you can't even tell it was ever bent. I was impressed. I would definitely come here again if I needed any body work done. A good note of recommendation is my dad, the least try-new-things person EVER, saw the job they did and said he'd bring a car in to their shop if he ever needed to.
