Great service and business! They installed a new rack and pinion into my car and several months later went to a different shop to get an alignment. I was told my rack and pinion was installed incorrectly and took it back to The Kar Shop to have it fixed. Turns out the rack wasn't the problem, and they still fixed it for free! They truly stand behind their work and do an amazing job!

I cannot say enough good things about the team at Kar Shop. Friendly and no nonsense. They are busy but that's because they are honest and do exceptional work at a competitive price point. Came to the Kar Shop off a recommendation from my brother. He had a fantastic experience with the guys but unfortunately I can't say the same. Brought our car in that had recently started to run rough after a long car trip. Not too long after bringing it in, I got a call confirming a few issues that needed fixing. Assuming these problems would fix the issue, I authorized the two grand worth of repairs.

Upon picking up the car, it was instantly apparent that the issue still remained. Not just remained but actually considerably worse. Running tougher than ever before. I can't imagine they gave it a test run because surely they would have noticed how much worse the issue got. Anyway, they agreed to take the car in again and long story short, after they ran diagnostics for hours they told me it was an internal engine issue and it would be a lot of man hours and no guarantee they could fix it.

I only wish I could've gotten that explanation from them before I handed over two grand. Now I'm out a massive amount of money and the car is in worse shape than it was when I brought it in. Top that off with the decreased trade in value with how obvious something is wrong with it.just not a good deal overall. They didn't make me pay for the last diagnostics they ran but didn't really make me feel much better. Two stars because I don't think they try to take advantage of people but I'm not sure they handled my situation correctly.

Always a great experience with this place and the staff. Professional and courteous. They literally saved me thousands of dollars by digging in deeper to the issue that the dealership had identified and suggested a part replacement when it was only an electrical/sensor issue. The Kar Shop is the place to go for vehicle maintenance. They are courteous and always communicate fully about my vehicle's issues and the cost ahead of time. My vehicle had a recurring leak for over 5 months that was very difficult to pinpoint. It had to be fixed and checked many times. The guys at The Kar Shop worked hard to find the leak and were honest with me every step of the way. Highly recommend!

We've been going to the KAR Shop for a couple of years now and they are easily the best auto shop I've been to in my 16+ years of driving and owning a vehicle. They are always professional, friendly, knowledgeable and offer incredible service. They are also honest and transparent about the services they offer. I will always go to them for any vehicle needs that I have in the future.

The guys at Kar Shop are incredibly honest and professional. They were able to help me identify an on-going problem my vehicle was having, and got it fixed for a fair price and great turn around time. We had to make a last minute trip several states away. My vehicle was due for an oil change and we had just been hit with a bunch of snow. I was going to give up on getting my oil changed before leaving, until I called the KAR Shop. Even being short handed with the bad roads, they got me in and out and now we can leave on our trip with confidence with a fresh oil change and multi point inspection. Thanks Kevin and crew!

Chris was very nice & helpful. I was a thousand miles away on work when my son's car broke down. I called The Kar Shop (which is also a AAA approved shop) and he was extremely helpful in helping me locate a towing service (locally) and than got my son's car in & fixed even sooner than he had told me it would be. Seems like a nice family ran business with good work ethics and fair prices. I WILL definitely be using The Kar Shop again. Thank you guys

I called yesterday with a concern that I had started hearing a noise (quite grinding) from my rear brakes that morning. We made an appointment me for next week as it didn't seem like the issue was that bad. I then went to pick up my sons from school and I noticed the grinding sound was much louder than earlier. I call the shop back and they told me if I could drop it off last night that they could fit me in today.

I did that and this morning by 8:00 and they knew what the problem was with the ability to fix it today. I then picked up my van and it now drives and stops like a brand new vehicle again.

Nice experience overall. Polite personnel, clean waiting room and service was done in a timely manner. I called a couple other places when looking for a new mechanic, and I was impressed with what I felt was an honest and professional manner, which I was treated. Service: Oil change

We called the KAR Shop on Monday morning exactly when they opened, at 7:00 AM, for an urgent repair that required a tow of our truck (2016 Ram 1500 Truck) from our home. They were friendly, responsive, and offered to work on the truck, same day, if they could fit it in. They used the most efficient means possible to correct a fuel system issue and saved us money in the process.

We receive clear communication about the repairs and cost throughout the day. Upon picking up the truck (same day)- they were professional and gave us thorough detail about repair and recommended maintenance going forward. We had an EXCELLENT experience with the KAR shop and their expertise is clear. We're new to Arkansas (just moved from Illinois) and we often do a lot of research before we find service providers.

I won't ever go any where else for my car needs. They replaced the low beam headlight. Professional, started service 10 minutes after I arrived. Explained what needed to be done and an estimate of work. I was there less than an hour then was on my way. If you need any work on your vehicles, don't hesitate to use The Kar Shop. Awesome service! Took our Escalade in because it was riding like an old tank. They checked the suspension and discovered that the front shocks were locked up but the rear shocks were good. Replaced the front only and now it rides like a dream!

Great shop with nice knowledgeable crew. This shop doesn't try and 'up sell' constantly like some of the chains do. Just had a sensor light reset on my truck- no idea what it could be. Kar shop fixed it and didn't try and sell me unneeded items

I have been very pleased with taking my 4Runner to Kar Shop. I feel that they are honest, fair and do excellent work. They have provided excellent customer service and after going today I know that they will go above and beyond for their customers. With the Covid 19 outbreak I've been limited to the places I go because of medical issues. The Kar Shop has raised the bar on safety and care of customers.

All wearing masks, plexiglass shield, completely sanitized my car upon completion of work and even left me a sanitizing wipe in my car to use. I was impressed that after using my credit card they used hand sanitizer. Little things like that make a BIG difference. Especially to a retired Biology teacher. Took a vehicle in for a pre-purchase inspection. They did a good job found issues that helped with decision to purchase or not. Completed inspection in time they said, and reasonable price. Thanks guys!

We have taken our cars to The Kar Shop for innumerable repairs since moving here almost 3 years ago. For reference, they are both15 year-old Subarus with over 120,000 miles each. They have always repaired everything to the best of their ability and at a fair price. After so many repairs, our cars are in excellent condition thanks to their experienced and expert mechanics. We're so glad to have found this shop and it makes our life infinitely easier to have Kevin as our advocate there. He excels in customer service!

Don't trust this business! When I picked up my car after they did a brake pad job font and rear. The brakes started locking up in about 5 miles. They said the rear calibers would need to be replaced. They charged me for the 2 rear calibers PLUS disassembly of the rear brakes again. The owner said that he did the test drive and all was OK. NOT.

At this point the car was not drivable and the rear brakes were stinking and smoking. I was getting ready for a long vacation drive to Florida, that is why I had them check my brakes in the first place. After much heated discussion with the owner, Kevin the manager and the tech person that I left the car with they changed the price a little bit. They deleted the second dissemble charge.

Still the cost was more than the local Firestone dealer had quoted me for the job. I tried to use an local business an got burned and disrespected. Never again THE KAR SHOP! They worked my on 3/15/2019 R.E. Little Flock, AR

We were on our way from Michigan to our honeymoon to Florida our cars A/C stopped working came by and Don was very helpful, professional and affordable. Highly recommend coming here for any car problems I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Don.

We took our SRX for a second opinion/diagnostic to The KAR Shop after the dealership recommended several services. What we learned was there are honest, forthright business people at the KAR Shop. Prior to the comprehensive inspection, they explained what items typically show up on a 6 year old vehicle with 80+k miles. The inspection was completed in timely manner and they discussed every detail that was addressed.

The difference between the KAR Shop and the dealership? The KAR Shop suggested an alignment service ( that is not pressing) and the dealership suggested over $1400 of services. Each service the dealership recommended was not needed. Goodbye dealership, The KAR Shop will get all of our business going forward. Finding trustworthy vehicle maintenance in NWA is now complete.

This place is a complete scam! They nickle and dime you looking for anything else to to charge you with. The staff is terrible and the owner is a complete douche bag.

Reasonable, honest, friendly. AAA approved. More than willing to help. It's my go to place for auto repairs.

If I could give less than one star, I would do it in a heartbeat. This place is such a scam. First, let me give you some background. My security system in my car often tricks itsself into not starting. So, one day when it was doing this, I called AAA to tow it to the AAA recommended shop, in order to see if anything else was causing the issue. Wow, what a mistake that was.

The man who helped me was incompetent, unprofessional and quite frankly just plain stupid. He charged me over 250$ JUST TO LOOK AT MY CAR. yes, you read that right. A quarter of a grand to hook up some stupid machine. AND he diagnosed my car completely wrong. It was a WASTE of precious earned money and time- DO NOT TRUST THESE BASTARDS.

Took my daughter's car here for a repair. Not only were they honest, the bill was less than the quote. Nice to go to a shop and not feel like I was getting the run around or getting ripped off. My car will be next! Clean shop, friendly people. Happy to have found them!
