Met Howard about 40 years ago. I had just left the local Honda dealer who said my cruise control would cost 350 to fix. Saw Howard's on the way home stopped in for a oil change just mentioned what the Honda dealer said. Howard disappeared from the cash register next thing I see he's under my steering wheel on the floor board comes back in and said the cruise controls all set.

He said it had a set screw that was loose no charge. He's been my mechanic ever since. He now repairs my kids cars. We moved to Georgia for a 6 years and still brought our cars to Howard for all major tune ups and repairs. Never check his price or worry if I'm getting a fair deal. He'll let you know if it can wait or needs attention now.

Make sure you bring a male with you.was told that I would be charged 330 dollars just to diagnose my car. I'm a female but I'm not a dumb one, and I'm sure if I had a man with me, they would not have said this ridiculous price.highway robbery! No thank you

Came here to diagnose my 2009 Honda CRV which had a wobble when I drove. Came here they put it on the lift and in a couple of hours they gave me a diagnosis. They told me it's my right CV axle has a little play in it and causing it to wobble. Glad I brought it here no nonsense mechanics. The owner was there I was glad to see him because he is known for a long time to be very reliable and affordable which is very important nowadays. If I ever have an issue again with my Honda I definitely will bring it back to him and for these mechanics who take their job serious. Glad I found this place

My father brought our 2012 Yaris to Jap Tech this past Friday morning. We've had a suspension issue where it was eating up the tires. Jap Tech not only looked And checked it out in a timely manner but they were also super honest. They didn't try to take advantage of us or anything. They told us the problem and referred us to a trusted place we can go to to get the vehicle aligned.

They charged us a reasonable fee to troubleshoot the problem and also did a complete inspection of the vehicle and told us it was in great shape mechanically for a 10 year old car. Because of their honesty and being straightforward with us about our car's problem. we will definitely do business with them again and recommend them to others as well.

Every car repair shop in the nation should be as honest and ethical as this place. Howard, the owner is extremely honest and has very fair pricing. If you drive a Toyota, Lexus, Honda or Acura.there is no better place for out of warranty repairs. It is worth it to drive one of these brands just to come here. Look at their rating! For a car repair shop. Incredible!

Had my transmission and oil changed and the chassis lubed. There was a problem with my oil drain plug gasket. They showed me the problem and how they were going to address the issue to avoid future problems. They use top quality parts and are very professional. They have a nice waiting area, very good wifi, and a masked required policy which make me more comfortable being inside.

EXCELLENT SERVICE, price, trusting family in charge of all Japanese cars. Make sure you enroll in their reward program. If late, you can bring car to garage filling out information on envelope and dropping key for them to start working next working day. They did NOT open on Saturdays, but still great place to bring your Toyota Honda Lexus Accord.

This was my first experience with this garage and will definitely use them again. My S2000 needed an unusual repair. I spoke to George. After chatting with a couple of the guys there, we came up with a plan for the repair. George was great about keeping me in the loop about the status of the repair. The work was done for a fair price and to a very high level. It looks factory. Great overall experience.

I never feel like I'm getting fucked over. If there's a problem they explain it to me and tell me if it's worth fixing and if I can wait and then monitor it for me.

You won't find better service or nicer people than at JapTech. Howard and George run a quality shop and will take care of your vehicle with excellence! If, like me, you want your vehicle to last 2-3 hundred thousand miles, you need to take it to JapTech! They believe in preventive maintenance.and my high mileage cars can attest to that!

Found them to be a very honest shop. At another shop, I was told to replace parts and was quoted a high fee. I got a second opinion from Jap Tech. They were very knowledgeable, found that I didn't need to replace the parts the other shop recommended, and they fixed another underlying issue I'd had for a year for a third of the price the other shop quoted. They worked quickly and were patient in answering all my questions. I will be coming back and will recommend them to everyone.

Jap Tech is officially my new mechanic! I found this place after getting what seemed like an awfully high estimate for my car(2010 honda)problem at Rick Case honda. Soo happy I found Jap Tech! I paid about $140 to fix something Rick case had the nerve to quote me $800 to fix! George and Howard are super friendly and polite! George did an excellent job explaining what my car needed, and the purpose of the part in the car.

Very honest shop, you definitely can tell as soon as you speak with them. Also, the waiting area was comfortable and there is internet, so I was able to get some work done on my laptop while I waited for my car. I 100% recommend Jap Tech to Everyone looking for an honest, reasonably priced mechanic!

I own a Lexus and once my warranty was up, I have been bringing my car here for the scheduled service. George and Howard are very professional, nice, honest and they go through every issue with you, in language you understand. Their pricing is very fair and they are very reliable. The only competent person here apparently is Howard. We brought in a 2006 Lexus THREE weeks ago for Howard to be on vacation and his staff lacking the proper knowledge to even service the car yet they specialize in Lexus as advertised. They couldn't fix the problem but expected us to pay. I did but my lawyer has been contacted. This is the second time they claimed to be able to fix the issue and yet I've returned. Find a better shop before going here go to a real deaker

Spoke with Danny to help my mom fix her 2005 Acura that was having a steering pump issue. Danny was very attentive and professional from the estimate all the way through the repair completed the same day. Very pleased with the entire experience.

This guys get the work done period. George, Howard and the whole team work their best on delivering excellent customer service. No ridiculous waiting at all, I bring my work car (04 Honda Element) for quick oil change even for an extra spare key which they can also do- dope spot!

I have a 2006 Acura RSX with only 87,000 miles. These days I only drive about 1000 miles a year. I had the oil changed 12 months ago and Rick Case told me that I needed to change the rear brakes on the next trip. I decided to go to Jap Tech after doing a lot of internet research and the reviews were correct! Howard and George are as honest as you can get. George came back into the waiting area and showed me the calibrations for both the front and rear brakes and said they were fine.

He also said that my oil is perfect and doesn't need to be changed even though it's been a year. They charged me $49.50 for a full vehicle inspection and topped off the fluids. Most people would take advantage of a service request even if it weren't needed and go ahead and perform it, not these guys. I will be sure to spread the word, because honesty is priceless!

I have been coming to Jap-Tech for almost 25 years. I have always been happy with the work Howard and his staff perform. My family has 6 Hondas and this is were we service. They are not cheap but Howard is honest, and does not try to up-sell you needless services like the dealerships. They charge a fair price for what they do and stand behind there work.

I had a starter replaced and a few months later the new Honda starter died, called Howard, got towed in and they fixed it, no problem, no charge or bs, Howard just took care of it. This piece of mind is worth a lot, with Jap-Tech you deal with an owner not some corporate dealership that just wants to maximize profits on every transaction.

Came here for a dignostic on my car. We were told to bring the car between 8 and 10. However the technician was was busy working on other cars, so we had to wait for them to see the car Afterwards we were given a verbal diagnosis of the problem. We paid $50 for this. The $50 for 10 days can be used towards a service, so if you have work done there you're not losing any money on there.

When we arrived to pick up the car we were given a credit card reward card with the $50 that was good for 10 days. We were also given a written diagnostic of the problem with the car along with some other problems that the card not go in there for. Overall, it was a good experience and if the car was not old as it is I would definitely go back and use original Honda part as opposed to off market parts.

Just as most of the others said, these guys are honest. Bought my girlfriend a CRV that had some codes showing. Took it in and asked Howard to go through it. He explained everything in order of urgentness and fixed what we could afford at the time. He even showed me a hose that was deteriorating that I could fix myself. I'm glad they are close by.
