Jafbros Auto Body Shop

This auto body shop is the most dishonest shop in town. I went to pick up my daughters car after they had it for 3 weeks for a simple fix that Nissan of Reno had done the work on. I showed up to pick up the car and they refused to release it to me unless I pay them $400. Keep in mind my insurance had already paid the agreed upon amount for the repairs.

They said they needed to be paid for their 25% mark up and I could have the car if I paid the $400. It took about 45 min of me standing there demanding the car before they gave me car. Extortionist! Don't take you vehicle here.

They do amazingly fast & perfect body work. Nice bunch that is honest! Price is very reasonable for the quality of work they do.

Unfortunately I pulled my car into my garage with my hatch still up, which broke out my back window, dented the window frame and tweaked the door. I chose Jafbros because they had an opening 2 weeks from when I called, as opposed to other places around down that were booked out months! They were very communicative with me throughout the entire process and worked directly with my insurance to get my claim settled.

I was only responsible for paying my deductible. My car was done in a few days and looked like nothing ever happened! I really appreciated that they had their rates posted in the front lobby. This meant there were no questions about what I would be charged. I don't think repair shops are always this transparent. While I hope I never have to be in a situation where I need Jafbros again, I will most definitely use them if I am!

First I must say this experience couldn't have gone much better. Our car took on some accidental self inflicted damage to the spoiler, I wasn't happy with how the damage looked on such a new vehicle although I wouldn't say it was worth turning in to insurance and pay for this mistake for many months through higher rates. I stopped by Jafbros to have it looked at and the owner thought that it could be repaired at first, but it seemed to have some broken clip attachments.

I ordered replacement part, and after getting their quote for same piece. I Let them know I found it cheaper and they were totally cool with that. They just said 'drop the part off when you get it. After receiving the replacement via mail order I left it with them to paint match our car. Once completed in a quick turnaround they let me know I could bring the car down for install.

They did this process quickly and without issue. Our car is now back to showroom condition. They charged me the most reasonable and fair amount. I thanked them very much. If we ever have the unfortunate need for body work in the future (hope not) we will definitely return here. DW Sparks NV

Scammers & liars! Don't do business with these people, don't take your vehicle here for anything! Not evn a car wash.

I brought my Mercedes in because they claimed they specialized in Mercedes vehicles. The job they did was not professional, and the bumper they fixed fell apart. Along with this, they messed up the inside of my car. There were scratches all over, and my car whistled while I drove it. I had to go to the Mercedes Dealership to get the whistle fixed. I can't believe these lousy workers are still in business.

Look, I didn't even get started, my Mercedes was damaged in a hit and run while parked. The woman on the phone was so rude and nasty, I would not go near the place. Seriously who do you think you are, its a laugh. It always makes one wonder what else might occur, definitely will be calling MB USA on this.

Not for those with serious car damage. I was treated like a disease when I asked for an estimate of my smashed driver-side door. The staff behaved like they wanted to get rid of me asap after briefly examining my Saturn. Poor customer service, must say. He could have worked with me on repair and insurance, but instead shook his head from the getgo. I plan to have the car repaired elsewhere, needless to say, and will not be returning to this hole in the wall.

Great service. Locally owned and very easy to work with. Very happy with prices and service. Great atmosphere and very clean waiting area. Have had work on several vehicles and never been disappointed.

I severely wreck my truck about every 6-12 months doing yeehaw stuff. Long story short this time my mechanic couldn't figure out the issue and referred me to Jafbros. The guy who runs their shop is PHENOMENAL. He called me twice throughout the day to narrow down the issue and even texted me photos of my frame specs. I just went to pick up my truck and instead of just handing me the keys he proceeds to crawl under my truck with a flashlight IN A SNOW STORM and spend 10 minutes showing me exactly what's wrong because I said I want to fix it myself. 12/10 service.

If I could give them more stars I would! A ladder hit me on the freeway a few weeks ago (hell of a way to start the day) and they were so helpful and so amazing from start to finish! I had no idea how to go about this with my insurance or if I needed to get an estimate etc etc but they walked me through everything, and they had free coffee! Anyways, I dropped my car off Monday with some bumper and blinker damage and it was done today by noon.

Not only was it such a quick turn around but they freaking washed the sh*t out of her! I had a bunch of scuffs and marks along the sides of my car (thank you college parking lots) and they buffed ALL OF THEM OUT. There are seriously no words for how happy I am with everything from the maintenance to the customer service. I will never go anywhere else!

If you have a lot of money for rental cars, they probably are the best bet. However it took them two months to fix my car. That's 175 a week times 8 weeks for car rental. Not so much Jafbro.

I cannot believe my experience here - just another typical auto body stop trying to scam you! I took my Mercedes SUV here for a quote on paint scrapes (down to the metal) from rubbing against a pole after the dealer recommended this shop. The woman doing the quote wasn't the friendliest to begin with, but it is what it is. She inspected my front right bumper, said the scrapes didn't look too bad, took some pictures, and returned inside to work up a quote.

She then quoted me $1,800 - just to do paint touch ups! I understand the whole bumper would have needed to be blended from the paint, but she elaborated on how many other parts would need to be removed from my car in order to do so? This quote and her description of the work wasn't sitting well with me, so I took my car down to Diamond Auto Body for a second opinion.

The staff couldn't have been nicer there, and the man doing the quote for my car was shocked my Jafbros' outrageous quote for the work! He took one look at my car, said he'd be right back, brought out a hand buffer and buffed the scrapes right out - FOR FREE! NEVER take your car to Jafbros - they are a total scam.

My car was rear ended and almost everything had to be replaced. I called my dealership and they suggested JafBros. When I went to pick up the vehicle I noticed that the piece that hides the tow hitch on my sedan bumper was the only thing not painted on the rear end and obviously stood out. When I brought that to the owners attention he yelled at his staff and seemed angry with me for mentioning it. Came back a few hours later and it looked "okay" kinda half assed.

When I got home I noticed they damaged two body panels when they removed my trunk originally. Called insurance and we set up another visit. They fixed it but again the owner acted like a real jerk the whole time, again.his shops issues were my fault not his. I left that day not 100% satisfied but good enough to use them again if needed. When my car was damaged at work I brought it to JafBros for the repeat business.

Well this time the owner before looking at the car said it was $1100 to do it. A job that last visit cost $750. He says "I lost money last time with you". Insurance adjuster checks it out and calls me back to let me know that his quote was $400 less then what this shop wanted. He said the entire town charges one rate and this guy wants an extra $15-20 an hour for no reason.

I wasted two days dropping off and picking up from Lake Tahoe. BEWARE--HORRIBLE OWNER. SELFISH AND GREEDY. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. WORK ISNT EVEN THAT GOOD. Would love to give ZERO stars for a terrible business.

I had some corrosion on a rear door with paint both chipping off and bubbling from underneath. Luckily, the dealership covered this under their warranty and sent me here. They did an amazing job on my vehicle and it looks good as new. Definitely recommend this place.

Although very good work is done at this Body Shop it is definitely hard to get past the unfriendly nature of the older blonde woman who works there. In no way shape or form is she welcoming and she comes across as a very unhappy individual, this in turn would be a deciding factor in it never referring anyone to this body shop. In my opinion with so many options with body shops in this area customer service is definitely a top priority when it comes to, so it is in my opinion that you can find other places with the same quality work and nicer people

Best body shop in all of Nevada. The owner is meticulous and works diligently to make every repair exact and done efficiently and expeditiously. Jafbros looks out for my best interest and the safety of my family. Don't go anywhere else, go to Jafbros.

I was rear ended in December and my Insurance company is partnered up with Jafbros and I was concerned at first because I had not worked with them, but the service blew me away. The communication and organization of everything is very well done and I am happy I gave them a chance. Unfortunately, about 3 weeks ago, my vehicle was hit yet again due to a vehicle flying off the road, the damage was minor, but Jafbros again got my vehicle looking new again.

What really makes it nice is the custom detail they give vehicles when complete because they really do make the vehicle feel new again. I would highly recommend Jafbros as a Body Shop if you need work done.

These folks are the best! Went to them on instructions from Farmers. They were on time and the work was outstanding. The car looked better than the day I bought it! Highly recommended

Took our SUV here last year(before yelp).they were great, very helpful and great work. Guess what, merry Christmas another knucklehead hit me and we are going back! Hit and run this time! Little dark colored SUV with front end passenger side damage, if you see them, lol. Will update with new work when complete.

Best auto body in the Reno/Sparks area! My car was ready as and when promised. Rental car ready as promised. Car came out better than it went in. Been there twice (one was for sandstorm damage), I won't go anywhere else! Great communications. Honest with integrity, rare in any business especially the auto business. By the way, the person that hit me had Geico Ins - they wanted me to go to their auto body shop and bad mouthed Jafbros. They were the worst ever!

Best place to take a damaged car to. We got into a car accident then we found this place at first a little sketchy never been through this before but the office attendant was wayy nice. She got us a brand new rental said its gonna be about two weeks to completely fix the back end. We were totally cool with it. She walked us through the complete process. Two weeks later we get a call says its ready. We go and take a look and its just like it never happened.

Have taken my car in to them two times - fabulous service. The rental company was very slow in coming to pick me up, the owner tried to give me his car to drive that day. Jafbros gives a lifetime guarantee on their work. They back up everything they do, and what they do they do well. Can't tell my car was ever in a collision.
