I highly recommend J&L to anyone who is looking for friendly customer service and honest communication. I was absolutely convinced there was something wrong with my vehicle because I'm paranoid ever since it had issues last year, and given my paranoia they had ample opportunity to take advantage of me. but they had it for 3 days and test drove it multiple times, ran several tests and only ended up charging me for an oil change. Greg and Kelly were both super nice and patient and helpful!

I tried to use their services but stood up at the front for 10 minutes and didn't see a soul. I went to the garage and yelled to try and get their attention but they intentionally ignored me. Waited at the front for 5 more minutes and observed the various piles of trash and dust collections before deciding to leave. Very disappointed.

There is a change in ownership, so it took my car a much longer time for my car to get finished. I was without my car for 4 days, which was 2 days longer than their quoted time.

Only shop I've ever seen to drop off my vehicle and get a 1000$ verbal estimate, and then later getting a call it's only gonna be 150$. And it's not what either of us thought it was. That level of honesty is hard to find.

This was my first-time using J&L Auto Repair. My mechanic I had for years moved. I am thrilled to have found J&L. Perry & Peter are the Best, Sincere & Honest. It's a Blessing to find Good Auto Mechanics. I have already recommended them to friends. Terri Diaz

Had them do a fair number of upgrades to my Fiat 124, including springs, sway bars, brakes and new exhaust. They did awesome work and, while not cheap, is easily worth the money for the professionalism they employ. (Little things like greasing polyurethane bushings so they don't squeak, doing multiple road tests and getting everything done in a week). Will use them exclusively going forward.

J & L was recommended for wheel alignment by Gordon at Far East Motors, also in Chamblee. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment. Shad, the service manager, was professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. "If the car does not need alignment, we won't do anything to it and give it back to you." I asked if I could wait on it. "Sure, " he said.

After about an hour, the technician who worked on the car came into the office with paperwork. The job was done. Shad showed me a printout showing two diagrams: the "before" misalignment of the four wheels and the "after" alignment. I was impressed. The charge was $79.99. I drove the car from their parking lot, and right away I could tell the car was driving much better than when the wheels were out of alignment.

It was definitely worth the trouble. I had just bought two new tires, and it would have been a waste to wear them out unevenly on the misaligned wheels. Now the car drives straight, and the tires can be expected to wear our evenly. I recommend J&L after this good experience. They do a good job, and they do it efficiently.

J&L Auto Service was established in the 50s during that time there were mechanics not part changers J&L still employees mechanics that have that same mentality and skill. Chad the service manager is extremely knowledgeable also polite and friendly always willing to help. He keeps the shop clean and well-equipped. They service both new and vintage vehicles. You just can't go wrong by choosing J&L they're the best!

I have been bringing all my vehicles to J&L for 30 years. They are the most honest group of individuals you will ever deal with. I have had minimal maintenance service to major repairs. They keep my vehicles running like new for well over 150,000 miles. I would not trust anyone else with repairs.

I have had all of my automotive repairs and preventive maintenance performed by J&L for over 35 years. I have dealt with Randy, Gabe and Shad during all those years. I have found them to be expert mechanics, fair priced and provide excellent Service. One time while performing some preventive maintenance on one of my cars their mechanic found a $20 dollar bill in the back of the car. They put it on the front seat so I would see it when I picked the car up. Quality people and very honest!
