I find that they do tip top work. I have brought my 2003 Jaguar XKR supercharged to them twice and I'm very satisfied with there results of the work however as much as I would love them to be my one and one place to take my Jag. I find the work per hour to be way out of my Budget. But if you need it done ASAP and done right.the first time and you have the money to blow. this is the place to go. I only gave them 3 stars because of price.they get 10 stars for quality work

I had been given a Mini Cooper that had some issues, and I had previously read a book by JE Robison in which he mentioned having an independent specialty shop, and it turned out Mini was one of the brands they service, so yay. I was confident it would be worthwhile to drive all the way to Springfield, and it was. My experience of JE Robison Auto Service is that they are very focused on my Mini Cooper "Bubbles" and take a sincere interest in her long-term wellbeing.

I am very picky about who I will interact with, especially about cars, because I communicate differently. Maribeth is attentive, thoughtful, and respectful, and was very capable in communicating my concerns with the shop. Every concern I had about Bubbles was carefully and thoroughly addressed, and they gave me very helpful advice about being especially diligent in checking her oil regularly. I am very confident in the operating condition of my vehicle, and that I will have ongoing support from JE Robison Auto Service in getting the best for and from Bubbles.

They were very responsive and detailed. They were also extremely honest. Car repairs can be quite pricey - they clearly laid out all the information for me to make an informed decision - deciding on what needed my attention now vs. what could wait. I brought my car in and needed to leave town a few days afterward. They were very accomodating - able to fit me into their already busy schedule.

I was extremely grateful for their flexibility. Every time they've serviced/repaired my car, it feels like a brand new vehicle! I absolutely recommend them - I don't take my car anywhere else. They are truly experts in what they do and deliver top notch service.

I'd heard good things about this Springfield shop and brought my Mercedes there. They are quite competent and cost maybe 25% less than a dealer for labor. Of course, you're not getting that new car loaner here. In their parking lot, I did see Range Rovers, Mercedes, a Rolls Royce, a late model Bentley (being backed out of service bay), a Porsche Cayenne, and other pricey exotics, which implies they know what they're doing.

John is VERY knowledgeable on Land Rovers, I live in Houston, TX and he spent the time to help me even though I could not bring my car to him because of the distance. I can't say enough good things about a person who would take the time to literally help a person for no other reason than to be a good person. I wish him the best! and I think that any person with a land rover problem who is close enough to his facility to bring their car there should. I only wish he was in Houston, TX

I take my 1995 Rolls Royce Flying Spur to Robison's shop because these folks are simply the best. Excellent service. Hard for me to imagine taking my vehicle any place else. I recommend them highly. Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

I was referred to JE Robison Service to look at my 2005 Bentley Arnage R by Mike with JB Automotive, another Bosch Auto Repair shop I use in St. Petersburg, FL for my Rolls and Jags in the winter months. I talked to John on the telephone and explained that I needed rear suspension work, full 10 year service, gas springs, brakes, windows, etc. He seamed very knowledgeable on the phone, so I had my Bentley towed to his shop in MA from my summer place in RI. John and his team did not let me down!

Amazing detailed report of my car, along with pictures. He personally updated on the progress each week, along with photos of the repairs and other areas which needed to be addressed. They are with out a doubt the finest automotive repair shop I have ever dealt with! They will be my' go to' repair shop for my car collection and of course my Bentley! Well done John! Grahame Brown.

My first time working with this awesome team! John and Maribeth are wonderful to work with! John came out to meet me when I dropped off my Mini. Maribeth did the admission. Very friendly. They answered all my questions. Gave me sage advice and insight about my 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman S All4, manual shift issues. Cost of repair was reasonable and timely. Had them do my transmission fluid as well. I will definitely be a repeat customer and I wholeheartedly recommend them!

They said they don't work on my car and couldn't help me. All I needed with help with an o2 sensor they didn't even offer to take a look at it.

Would NOT recommend Reported the shop to BBB Work not completed on the car and charged for it. Expensive charges to diagnose the car.

I corresponded with John Robison from across the country regarding an issue I was having with my early Land Rover Discovery. First, I had used his website as a heads up on a common problem with early Discoveries, tie rod ends. Mine were shot and his website on the subject may have saved my life. I then contacted him directly about a check engine light issue. Obviously, he couldn't look at the truck himself as I was on the other side of the country, but he was patient with me answering my questions on what my next steps might be (even on a Saturday). He encouraged me not to just throw new parts at the problem and spend time diagnosing the issue. He was right, and I ended up fixing the problem for nothing. Thanks John!

I was driving alone from Maine to Rochester, NY due to family crisis and developed a sudden problem with our E350 - lost power steering. I was lucky to be able to get the car off the Mass Pike and into a parking lot. Once I calmed down, I began to search the web for nearby MB service and found the listing for J.E. Robison. I called and spoke with MaryBeth who was SO empathetic and helpful! AAA towed my vehicle to their garage (and in record time, I might add) and, after cautioning me about the impending holiday weekend, the shortage of mechanics and the looming lunch hour, MaryBeth had a mechanic (whose name I'm sorry I didn't get, but he was amazing, too) immediately look at my car where he found the serpentine belt had partially broken and had cut part way through the wire leading to the alternator.

As I sat in their comfortable waiting room that amazing mechanic worked through his lunch and had my car fixed and road tested within 2 hours. To top it off, the cost of the repair was nowhere near as much as I thought it would be. The folks at J.E. Robison helped make my stressful situation so much better and more manageable. I am so grateful for their kindness and expertise and would highly recommend this garage to anyone!

Seriously top-notch service and knowledge of import vehicles. I have a 1994 BMW and with a 22 yr old car, there are going to be some issues! She is a strong runner but there was an electrical issue going on in December and a few months prior. I took her to two different mechanics before I finally took it to Robison and they figured out the issue and fixed it within a day.

The price originally quoted on the off chance it was something much worse did make me scared but I also understand I have an old BMM, and when things go out that need fixing, it's generally not cheap. Luckily, they found the issue and it was a minor one, and the price was much cheaper than quoted! (A LOT lower than what I got charged by a local plumber to snake my drain!) Seriously, this is one of the most knowledgeable, friendly, fair and professional mechanics I have found. The guy is EXCELLENT at what je does. If you love your car and want fair pricing and good service, look no further than the guys at Robison.

What a rip off! Brought in my car to get an estimate on some body work. Told me I had to pay a 100 per hour fee so that their mechanic can diagnose what the problem is. After literally begging the owner to come out and see the damage he just asked me how much a BMW dealership was charging me and told me he would do it for the same price. What a joke. Keep far far away from this auto repair shop.
