My first visit to ISM was for an oil change special. They also checked my vehicle for any issues. So a couple of months later I take in my car for new tires, wheel alignment. Got a call from Gelina asking if I'd hit a pothole or been rear ended. My back wheels couldn't be aligned. She explained about shims that we're needed. I gave the go ahead.

Meanwhile I'm googling shims and what the usual costs for labor are. Okay, all is good. I've had bad experiences with other garages taking advantage. Not so with ISM. They're on the level and do great work. Extra points for a real office, Gelina and having my car washed after it's serviced. ISM has earned my trust and I'll bring my car back to them when needed

This shop is top notch, and aside from their high quality workmanship, and great value for the services rendered, the excellence and professionalism of Gelina Aqualina, one of their Service Techs, is unprecedented. Gelina is, hands down, one of the finest examples of what one should expect for being fully serviced and attended to. She is simply the best!

She knows her stuff, is completely honest and trustworthy, and she won't upsell you on nonsense that you don't need. She's the real deal. I followed her to this shop from a different shop that I no longer do business with. Give her a try. I had dealt with ISM in the past and got great service. So when my son's car needed Air Conditioning Servicing, I called Antonio and he explained their comprehensive approach to resolving the AC problem. I live in the East Bay but feel the trustworthiness and reliability of this shop is worth the longer drive to get honest service and peace of mind for not getting screwed. Dealing with Gelina in the front office was an added benefit.

So I bought an an older a 2010 Audi. I had a few problems as far as the bodywork was done but the motor was having some problems. I came in asked for a tune-up. It charged me $1,500 to change my spark plugs and my ignition coils and then cracked my window. When I told her the lady about it about the cracked window she said she didn't believe it was them even though the she took pictures beforehand and then when I showed her the pictures she tried to refute it and said that.

Oh no! Well it might have happened at some other time but the condition of the car shows that it was. It probably was broken. Anyways, wouldn't let me talk to the owner. Lou wouldn't let me talk to anybody refuse to fix the windshield and the car ran worse than it did beforehand and the front lady was very rude

Very high quality work. I use ISM for all off my bodywork repairs and mechanical repairs.

I'm probably like you. My engine light came on one day. I googled a European repair shop for my German car. I brought it in quickly and it turned out to be a much more expensive repair. Fortunately ISM recognized it could be covered by my insurance. They ordered all genuine parts without my needing to ask (there was a delay due to national backorders).

It required some work on their side to ensure all repairs were covered as my insurance initially only approved half. Eventually, my car was completely fixed, I paid my deductible, and got my car back. This wasn't a super quick turnaround as the parts took more than a month to arrive and likely they were busy during the holidays/Covid. I was able to keep my car while we waited for parts. Anyway, I'm happy to have my car back and working and I never felt they were squeezing me for money.

I was in desperate need of an oil change and on top of that I needed documentation of my total mileage for insurance purposes. This had to be done by 02/12. I scoured YELP and found International Sports Motor. Lots of great reviews so I called on 02/10. Spoke with Gelina and got an appointment for the next day. I went in and met the charming and helpful Gelina, left my car and was told it would be ready at noon. Was notified at 11:45 the car was ready. I was shocked when I saw my car, IT WAS WASHED and vacuumed! Whaaat? Yes, it's part of their service! I will be bringing my car back to ISM.

Giovanni and the rest of the team at ISM are extremely professional and trustworthy. They made my whole experience very comfortable and provided very comprehensive reports on my vehicle. Giovanni and his team are a dream come true. An auto shop that does everything and by people you can TRUST! If Giovanni says something needs to be done, you know it needs to be done and will be done right. And the price will be FAIR. After a short vacation our car would not start or take a jump and we had it towed to IMS. Three days later we called consistently for four hours before we actually got through to anyone who could tell us something about our car. Apparently they had addressed it and we're waiting on us to bug them. It wasn't until we talk to the owner (who is not very good at customer service himself) did we get a response from the technician who was working on our car.

Although the work they did on the car was good and thorough, their lack of response was very unprofessional and they did not need to keep the car for four days to recharge the battery and run a scan.

I use ISM for all major repairs on my VW CC. Although not cheap I trust them to accurately diagnose any problems. They even shared some videos and images which allowed me to clearly see the leaks. They then presented me with a detailed estimate. This is a top repair shop. The entire staff were courteous and friendly and all communications were clear and concise. Highly recommended!

Staff servive was ok. But i took my car there 3 times and quality of attention to detail was not good. One time after my car was repaired i found greasy oil marks on passenger side where staff had put hands and left marks and had to take it back to get cleaned. Second time they rplaced mythey teplaced my front windshild and did not install the finsl screws in properly and had to take it back in.

While they did address the issues promptly this should not happened in the first place. Each time i had to make arrangements to take my car in during the pandemic. Also staff at ront drsk did not enot wear their mask over the nose in closed office space.

These shop is much more interested in increasing your bill than fixing your car. They drove an initial estimate from $6,500 to $9,500 and failed to fix a fault with lighting. They then handed over the car with electrical work that drained the battery overnight which was not present when I brought the car to them. They then proceeded to charge me to diagnose their own mistake of faulty install of front lights, and even after paying this they handed over the car with lighting fault (they basically claimed the extra diagnosis money to connect lights so it did not drain battery). Please go elsewhere unless you are interested in paying this shop to fix the mistakes they make while fixing your car and then giving back to you unfixed.

There were multiple issues with my car that I was aware of, including a leaking head gasket and a problem with swaying at speed. I have a 22 year old Jaguar and my long-time garage closed abruptly and I had no referral from them. I read some reviews and chose ISM with trepidation. I was relieved when I drove into the shop and saw 3 other XK8s of my car's era in for service.

I think the most important item they excelled at was their transparency. The repair work was prioritized and the costs clear and understandable. They kept within their estimates and talked me through all of the work that needed to be done, and what work could be left for another time. The car drives like it is brand new. I will most certainly be going back to them when I need future service and recommend them highly to anyone needing European car repairs.

I Was recommended by AAA to bring my car here when it didn't start. They had my car for three days before they came up with a diagnosis the diagnosis cost $488. The estimate for the fuel pump repair was an additional $1400. Although I appreciate the discount I received on my five day car rental I was able to find a mechanic who would perform the exact same repairs for $300 less and they were able to order the fuel pump in one day instead of the three days that international motorsports would take to order it from the same vendor.! I will say we received professional and polite treatment at this business but he will not be able to return here for repairs.

Used twice in japan for Airport pick ups and service was excellent - on time, clean vehicles, good driver and knowledgeable about the local area.

Very professional, straight-forward and honest body shop. Antonio was a breeze to work with while handling my insurance claim. Paint and body work matched beautifully on my Mazda CX-5.

My car was vandalized when I parked it on the street. I had also left some deferred maintenance and was eager to get everything repaired at the same time on my 2009 Audi A4. They made it easy with one point of contact who was very communicative to me and provided me quotes and invoices separately for all the things they wanted to do, as well emailed photos of the problem areas.

I found the prices to be reasonable. Including labor and taxes, they were approximately: 400 for oil system service + filter replacement + general service 300 for cooling system service 1000 for two rear door locking mechanism replacements, as my rear doors no longer locked properly 800 for new tires and alignment 800 for new disc brakes 700 for side mirror replacement 200 for new lights. Got my car back in about a week. Would use again.

It's Dec31st and I ran my shop truck into a nice pole painted red. Long story short my Bumper cover was toast. I pulled into International Sport Motors and the owner came out and took a look. Keep in mind it's the last day of the year. He said no worries we can fix you right up. I thought for sure I needed a expensive new bumper cover that needed to be ordered.

The Service writer said we can just paint what you have. Same day got her back freshly painted Bumper and as a bonus got my headlights polished. Got lucky with same day paint since it was New Years Eve and most people are getting ready to go out. Perfect timing for me. I can't say enough good things about this shop.

So far, so good. After losing my past two mechanics, my 06 Jaguar needed a new home. I followed the Yelp love to ISM and have not been disappointed. Full service for the car, including reviewing, recording and wiping error codes (none of the prior mechanics reviewed). Analysis of all major systems, clear and concise. Spotless and timely service and working a plan for ongoing maintenance, as needed. Did a little extra (installed hood struts) at no charge. Between Jessie and Giovanni, I trust that my wagon is in good hands.

Turns out ISM made a little mistake on my passenger door (mistakes happen, no biggie) which meant the power seat controls and lock/unlock button didn't have any power. They offered to take it back right away and fix the problem and at the same time installed a new battery when I asked. Got it back the next day and so far everything is great. I had taken it on a bit of a trip on the weekend which meant it was filthy once again but they cleaned it inside and out on top of the ordered work. Absolutely coming back again!

This is the most incompetent and dishonest repair shop I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My car was brought into International Sport Motors due to not starting and having multiple electrical fault codes. After being assured the car was completely fixed and thoroughly tested, I was given back the car running, idling unevenly. I drove 10 miles and check engine light and fault codes reappeared. After driving home and parking, of course it did not start again. I am still fighting for a refund of my $800 so I can I pay someone else to actually fix the car

The most amazing customer service from Alex, from the minute I came in to the minute I left. I was looked after, reassured and comforted that my car would be restored back to it's original glory. The work on the car was like nothing I have seen before, it was amazing. This place is really great, they come through on their work ethic and their attention to detail is of the highest caliber. I will be recommending all my friends and family to ISM.

International Sport Motors has worked on my car a few times, each time with flawless paint match and superior body work. Asides from the immaculate work they have done on my car, another shining quality is their customer service. Each time, the work was completed faster than estimated, and communication was first class as far as status of the repair and whatever issues arise with it. I would do all future body work at ISM as I have great faith in their work and customer care.

1st off - Yelp is Satan That said, ISM is Mother Theresa - compassion, comedy, family, antics and technical excellence. I first went to ISM for. I think it was an alignment + brakes on my Ford Fiesta ST. I needed a shop that knew suspension geometry for cars designed to handle. Thanks to yelp or google maps or whatever, I found ISM and they set up the car like a dream.

I think two or three weeks after I had that work done I hit a massive SF road construction pothole/hurdle and it threw the alignment out of whack. I brought it back it and they did it /on da haus/ which is pure luv After that I was ~ride or die~ customer 4 life. And then I got hit by an old person in a Rav4. 1 block from ISM. so I drove it to ISM and I got to deal with the Body Shop side of the business. There's two dudes in there - they handled shit. Car got fixed up and looks fine - its been like 6 months.

Of course they are 4.5 starts on yelp. Great company and staff. Very honest to deal with and they took the time to explain the issues I had with my car. Thank you Giovanni- I will be back!

International sports motor I recently came here for 1) a broken window and 2) for damages related to running over a pothole. I'll keep this simple and sweet. I worked with Alex and Giovanni and they were both extremely wonderful. They were very prompt, pleasant, efficient and friendly. Although the claim adjuster at my Insurance company (Geico) wasn't the greatest, I have nothing but great things to say about ISM and am grateful for all of their superb customer service and professionalism. :)

The Owner (Giovanni), my Service Rep(Gelina ),t heir personnel have my personal approval and recommendation as the shop to have your beloved and prized automobile serviced. Their professionalism, customer interaction is par excellence. Gelina gave a straight up status and recommendation about my Audi Avant. Flawless legwork with the warranty people to get it all done. Giovanni rectified what was wrong about a sound after I got it out of the shop. Not losing any more time, got it back to me in just hours. You are certifiably my car service shop now.

Fantastic efficiency hour service. This was truly Divine appointment and Gelina Aquilina was one of the best service advisor despite the industry standard that most services advisors are men but this woman is the best 5 stars thumbs up 7 stars total perfect number in biblical truth

I am not a regular Yelp reviewer. I tend to review only when I see consistently good service, quality and communication from a vendor. ISM is one of those auto service/body shops that is as good as it gets. Their work is thorough, top notch, and you leave there feeling like you got the best, for the right price. Besides everything Giovanni and Antonio have done for me over the years, with 3 different cars, there's a genuine respect I feel for them.

While their's is an industry that gets a lot of flak for shoddy practices - these guys come across to you as honest business folk, who want to do right by the customer and their employees. Lastly, when you drop off your vehicle with them. Stand by the entrance and observe how the various employees treat Giovanni - the avuncular co-owner, and watch how he treats them back.

One cannot mimic a friendly environment like this if one wasn't totally committed to one's craft - with all the attendant care and respect that such commitment engenders.

I don't Yelp review much. But I wanted to do this as a big Thank You to Antonio for matching the paint of my 10 series FRS so beautifully. A couple of weeks ago, some homeless guy keyed the entire passenger side of the car. Insurance was progressive and the process was painless. The 10 series FRS has a unique color called "Ignition Silver" which is a pain to match because it's a combination of silver blue and gold. Antonio not only did a great job color matching but also delivered the car a day earlier than promised. I don't normally believe things that I haven't seen with my own eyes. Now, I'm a believer.

After a bad experience with another body shop Al?'s Called Antonio and brought my car to this place. It took them more time than what they said is going to take to fix my car, but I am happy that my car got fix perfectly. And did I mentioned that they waived the deductible too. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

If you have a European car that's out of warranty, you must bring it to ISM. I found out about this place about six years ago when my transmission died and towed it to BMW dealer who quoted $6000. With that amount of money, might as well get a new car. The tow truck gentlemen recommended I take it to ISM and he would only trust his M3 here. So that I did and the transmission still runs to this day.

With my car being old, I know it's going to be costly in terms of maintenance and yearly services and I'm talking about 1-2K per year until I decide to get a new car. Even with it costing a pretty penny to repair, don't regret it one bit at ISM. The service has always been friendly, feel like I'm being quoted fair prices, no up-selling for repairs and services I don't need, and they don't treat me like a dumb bimbo because I'm a female who doesn't know much about cars.

We had our car broken into a few weeks ago. Along with a broken vent window, the busters also managed to screw up our trunk lock. We figured this out when our trunk flew open on the freeway. Twice in 20 minutes. My gf found ISM on the interwebs and decided to call them based on their reviews. There's a reason why the garner a lot of positive reviews! Giulina and Giovanni were so helpful, efficient and professional. A lot of their staff were pretty courteous! Took my car in the morning and was ready in the afternoon.
