Have always gone to Audi Chantilly for my TDI work as the Chief Mechanic has always had my back and went out of the way for me when needed. Didn't think I'd find another shop that would do the same.but I did! The diagnosis and work done was fast, affordable, and done well. You hardly ever find a vehicle repair shop that you can trust.these guys I trust and will continue to use on all of my out of warranty work. Thank you!

I don't even know where to start with how amazing Scott and the guys at In Motion Motors are! I have a rare high-performance Infiniti (M56), so there are no aftermarket parts, I typically need new parts and they take a while to get. I moved to the area 8 years ago and have always taken my 2012 to the Infiniti dealership. Over the last 2 years, dealership service declined.

In July 2021, several lights came up on my dashboard. Infiniti charged me $250 to diagnose it and said I needed a part that cost $3k (steering control unit). I agreed. After they "fixed" my car, the same lights came on again, and after probing I learned that the part wasn't actually replaced. As a result, I lost trust in them and will never go back.

After some research, I took my car to a neighborhood mechanic. I didn't give them the back story, I just asked them to replace the part. which they quoted at $2k. Again, I left the shop and the same lights persisted. I went back, they assured me that the part was replaced and offered to do a discounted diagnostic. They came back with other recommended service items totaling $3k (alternator, abs actuator. ).

I only had another $1k in my budget, so they only replaced the alternator. and the lights on my dashboard continued to shine. In November, I went to another neighborhood mechanic, because I wanted a second opinion, that if I spent another $2k on an abs actuator, my dashboard problems would be solved. This guy fixed nothing and unfortunately led me around by my nose for 2 months.

By January, I was almost in tears. A friend of mine recommended In Motion Motors. I stopped by and poured my heart out to Jonathan. I don't mind paying to have my car fixed (because I need transportation) but "I need someone that can figure out what's actually wrong with it, so that I am only paying to fix that". He said they can help. I took my car in, they diagnosed it and RESEARCHED to find a solution. Turns out the part I needed (rear actuator) cost $8k.

Which is prohibitive. Scott determined that he could probably refurbish my existing actuator, and solve the problem. ABSOLUTELY GENIUS! Refurbishing only cost me $650. In addition, Scott saw that I needed an oil change and my inspection had expired, so he got all of that done while he had my car. Saving me time and the headache of finding someone I can trust to do those things.

They did all of this in about 3 business days. So, I was only out of pocket about $800 AND all of the lights on my dashboard, that were making me anxious, have been resolved. I can't thank them enough for their time, energy, honesty, care, and communication. I have a 2012. and I don't want to have a car payment. so I am sure that I will be back. #customerforlife

I am a new (used) Mini owner, and this place is my new repair shop. They've been wonderful. My Mini has a few quirks, and the guys here have been super patient and thorough in helping me understand what to do. My Mini burns oil like no tomorrow (a "feature" with this model year), and they've helped me when I've driven up in a cloud of burning black smoke, immediately taking time to make sure I still had oil in it, and letting me know how to add a quart of oil every 1000 miles / every month to save myself repair costs.

They always get back to me within hours with a detailed explanation of what's going on with my car, and have even texted me pictures for two visits so I can see the problem. I have an unwelcome critter that has a taste for my AC wiring, and they very generously fixed it for free when it happened again only a month after the first wire repair. They also told me I had a part recall on my car, and printed out and highlighted the paperwork for me to take to the dealership to have repaired for free under warranty (at no financial benefit to themselves). I trust them completely.

As a 25 year old girl who knows generally nothing about cars, it can be extremely intimidating and nerve-wracking to go to the repair shop. I recently took my car to In Motion Motors without an appointment to just ask for a second opinion on work that another shop quoted me on. This would be the second time in about a year I have made my way back to this shop, simply because I remembered how kind, genuine, and patient the people are there.

I was taken care of with no problem and you can just tell how honest and awesome these guys are. If you are considering going to this shop just take this as a sign to do it. This place will always be my first choice from now on! Thank you guys for making a trip to the repair shop less scary for me! :

This place is beyond amazing. I thought I needed brakes on my Audi. Got a quote over the phone, made an appointment. I drop my car off and they call me an hour or so later to tell me, I don't need brakes. I was floored because they were squealing occasionally. They explained why that could happen. He (I think Scott) said "I couldn't sleep at night If I took your money today" They have earned my business forever! They could have taken advantage of me, but they didn't. Integrity to the max!

I have a Mercedes 230 SLK, one day it refused to start later in the day it relented and started. Several days go by and I take it to the dealer in Chantilly. They told me to come down on the phone then told me that I had to come back another day. However, the car decided not to start inside the service bay. I said look it is doing it! They refused to plug the car into their computer, later it decided to start and I went home.

I brought it back at the time of my appointment and guess what? It never failed to start for a week. I took it home (very Frustrated). Then I took it to In Motion. The next day they call and say they found the problem and fixed it, and it has stayed fixed! If you need service Bring your car here!

We have been taking our BMW to In Motion for the past 2 years. They are easy to business with and upfront and honest. I recently took my car in because the "Check Engine" light came on. They did a quick diagnostic and identified the problem, but the tech also identified that BMW had extended the warranty on the part that was failing. That is what I call integrity. After the dealer address recalls and failed warranty part, I"m going back to In-Motion to have them do other service work they identified.
