We were formerly located in Northfield at the BP gas station where we served customers on the North Shore for 42 years. In 2005 we moved our auto repair service to a bigger & brighter location to better serve our loyal customers. Our new location is 1723A Waukegan Road, just behind the NAPA auto parts store.
As a certified NAPA AutoCare Center, we follow a strict Code of Ethics so customers will know up front what to expect. We currently offer the NAPA AutoCare "Peace of Mind" Warranty, providing our customers with 24-months/24,000-miles of worry-free protection on qualifying parts and labor.

I want to thank Hynes Auto for all their help this last week. I took in my car late last week and they were very fast about taking a look at it. When they called they gave me their professional opinion that it would be more money to repair then the car was worth. After this they helped recommend several places to have towed to and were very patient in letting me keep my car there till it was able to be picked up. Awesome customer service! walked in at 4 not knowing what the problem was just knew my car wasn't starting and I have out of town guests coming in! Mike Hynes and his team have always done an excellent job on our Toyota Avalon which has not been covered by the expired new car warranty for a number of years. Their prices are very reasonable and always provide me with a quote before doing the work. If they find any hidden problems, they always contact me for approval before doing the additional work.
