I had so much hope with this place. Had a number of things to get done, one major repair in the group, and they didn't do it right. The place is full of classic cars, not too many bays to do modern car work, time lag is long, prices are high, and they don't seem to care if you're a customer. Find another place.

Hunt & Knight are true professionals at their craft. They are a caring company, because they care about the community they live and work in. They took my trailer in to look at even though it is not a normal item they work on. Mark made me feel like I was a long time customer from the time I walked in the door. This was my first time going to them and he has already won me over, I will be giving Mark and the team more of my vehicle needs. Best mechanic I have found to date. Hands down, no competition. Fast, professional, and honest. My car is still on the road, and after 3 other mechanics couldn't fix it, they finally did. So if you're tired of searching for a fix, here you go. And way cheaper than I thought. Valarie is also a charm to talk to if you get a chance.

I will only bring my vehicles to Hunt Knight from now on! Mark and the guys have taken great care of me on my own personal car, and the three others that I have brought in for family multiple times. The price is right for the work, the timing is always great and I usually get my vehicle back the same day as long as the parts are available from their vendors.
Such a great thing so I don't have to miss work. The office staff, Valerie & Peter are absolutely amazing and always either have an answer for my question or find it and call me right back. Love this place! Glad to know I have a reliable mechanic that I can count on for me and my family!

2004 drivers power seat track replaced. Part not made by mfg. anymore, had to find from junkyard parts, very hard to find, first one did not fit, luckily found one elsewhere. They have the experience you can count on to fix your car, even when it takes extra effort to find parts. They did this for a good price and took great care of my car, it looked nice when all done, exterior and interior. If you appreciate nice and honest people you do business with, take your vehicle there, you will be glad you did!

Wow, I am blown away by the amazing service I received from Hunt & Knight! Last week I was driving my boyfriend to work on the highway, and all of a sudden my car started pulling, and I did not feel comfortable driving back to our house, so I stopped in to a tire store to see if it was my tires, and it was not, they said it was more mechanical. They gave me Hunt & Knight's information and I am so thankful.
I called them around 10 AM, and they were able to get me in right away to diagnose my problem. Turns out I needed a new router and axle for my left front tire. Everyone was very professional and they showed me my car on the lift, showing me what the issues were - I could literally see that my wheel was not in a great position! They were able to get the work done for me that day within four hours, which was a real lifesaver as we are a one car family and waiting until Monday would have thrown our whole schedule off for the weekend. Mark, the owner, was especially kind and waived the lift fee for me.
Everyone was just so nice, and even though it was a large unexpected cost, I left their shop feeling happy, mostly due to their stellar customer service! I was also able to take a peek in the back at all of the awesome classic cars they are working on - super cool! I was looking for a mechanic here in Louisville, and this is now my place! Thanks again Mark, Denny, Valerie, and Donny - you guys are awesome!

Mark has all my repair work now after using other places that either botched the job or couldn't figure out what was wrong. Hunt & Knight has always done great work @ a reasonable price.
