Service department is a J O K E! They do not answer calls, they do not return calls, and they do not respond to text messages. My boyfriend and I have been trying to get in touch with someone about his car. He picked it up on Monday after being serviced for a bad starter, and his car is now shaking to the point where it feels like you're in an airplane about to take off the tarmac.

I have submitted an online inquiry for a manager to reach out to me.nothing. He has texted a service advisor by the name of Juan, and again.nothing. They do not care about their customers. They are only interested in getting their money. His car was in the shop for 9 days. $1,300 later and his car is honestly in even worse condition than it was dropped off as. We have reached out to Honda Corporate since no one at the dealership cares enough to respond to either of us.

Don't waste your time trying to get your car serviced at this dealership. I just spent 30 minutes waiting for someone to check me in. Two people told me they would be with me in a minute. After waiting for 20 minutes I left. I have purchased several cars from this dealership. Brad Plauche is fantastic - but the service dept is simply infuriating. Never again

Went to their website to fill out the Contact form to get them to stop sending postal mail to my house. On that form, you're forced to tick a checkbox or the form won't submit. That checkbox says that you're giving Howdy Honda permission to market to you, by phone and email. So, to stop them from sending you unwanted mail, you have to agree to get phone and email spam. Incredible. And car dealerships wonder why they're universally regarded as sleazy.

Bought a used Chevy from this dealership 2 months ago, got to drive it for a month before the check engine light came on, a couple weeks later the car wouldn't start anymore. Contacted the dealership and was assured I could tow the Chevy to Honda to have it looked over and the problem diagnosed. Got it there (via tow from my insurance) only to be informed that they can't diagnose a Chevy at Honda, the person at the service desk seemed bewildered I would even think that's possible (despite being told repeatedly I spoke to their service desk and was told it was fine).

Finally get the car towed to Chevy and turns out Honda tampered with the starter ground wire causing the car to not start, and the check engine light to malfunction. There's a list of additional repairs that need to be made to the vehicle as well. All in all I spent 15k to have a car for a month, and now another 3k to get the car back to running. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE.

I've purchased my Honda Civic 2022 with Howdy Honda and Alec worked with me through all the process with me and patiently answered all the questions I have. They even helped me with the finance and they will clarify any questions at any step. Great experience purchasing my 2018 certified pre-owned Honda CRV, with less than 3k miles on it. I went in looking for a brand new CRV, but I was pleasantly surprised by the CPO CRV I ended up with. Adding the service contract actually lowered my monthly payment (I'm sure they discounted the sales price to achieve this and I'm fine with that).

The price on the vehicle matched the price online, Rex was awesome. The entire team was awesome. I recommend. Folks, it's a car dealership so you will be subject to some sales techniques. I was in and out in less than about an hour and a half. So pleased with my experience, and my vehicle. Thank you Howdy Honda!

Salesperson was knowledgeable about the vehicle itself and what else they had in stock. That's the only positive remark I have. Dishonest prices and false advertising. The price online did not match the prices of the vehicles they had in stock. Then, they bent my financing options to get an extra 0.2% interest out of me by setting me up for 49 months instead of 48 months, which changed the rate from 1.9% to 2.19%, even though my credit qualified for the better option.

Very shady dealership. They also snuck a $3,295 extended service contract into the deal which was NEVER discussed either with the salesperson or finance office. Wont be coming back or recommending to anybody. The only reason I came here instead of RoundRock (which was the one recommended to me) was because they had the exact vehicle I was interested in. Otherwise I would've never came.

Amazing customer service by Brad Plauche at Howdy Honda. He has 25+ years of experience and it shows. My Mother was looking at new Honda Accord Sport models and she was able to purchase the exact car she wanted within 24 hours (it was a miracle that she found this car!). During the car walk-through, Brad was very patient and extremely thorough. I was impressed by the number of safety and convenience features on the new Accords.

The service department also provided information about the catalytic converter location, which is very difficult to steal on this car. I can't say enough about Brad and the team at Howdy! My Mother couldn't be more pleased and excited about her new Honda.

No Stars! We purchased a 2018 Honda Accord dec 2021 and took it friday 2/18/22 to our first oil change. Always Make sure to open the hood and double check to see if they placed the oil cap back on because the service tech who did our oil change forgot to put cap back on and on sat nite into sunday afternoon we noticed bad smell, we opened up the hood to find oil all over the engine, all inside the rims of two front tires and it even started coming out of the hood. When we checked the oil with the dip stick it had NO OIL. we had to add 5 quarts of oil. I understand we all make mistakes but Howdy Honda you've got to do better.

We had a perfect car buying experience at Howdy Honda. Oscar had the vehicle we called about freshly washed and ready to test drive 5 minutes before our scheduled appointment. Our questions were answered promptly even though we came in on a very busy sales day. The deal finalized quickly with no drama or games, and Oscar made the purchase effortless and fun. Highly recommend this dealer, and ask for Oscar, he will take good care of you!

I recently purchased a 2022 Civic from Brad Plauche and let me tell you, Howdy Honda and Brad went above and beyond for me. In the current market its nearly impossible to get a new car without paying over the sticker price let alone the color, trim and a hatchback! I put a deposit down and was told the vehicle would be there in 7 days. it was. I was told financing would be done and It would be ready for delivery the next morning.

I drove all the way from Dallas in the rain and it was ready. I was told the windows would be tinted by the time i got there. They were ready. Everything they said they would do they did! I was in the car business 11 years and this dealership treats people the way they should be treated. I would definitely recommend and buy again. No hassles or headaches, No lies or bait and switch. Just a great car buying experience! A+++

BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! Brad and his team at Howdy Honda were AMAZING. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. I will never buy a car from anyone else. Brad was very knowledgeable about his product, very forward and transparent about what I would be able to afford within the monthly payment I wanted. Gave me great advice on what to do so that in a year or so I can come get the car I LOVED. but I left with a great reliable used car and I am so happy! He wasn't pushy or trying to sell you something just for the sale. He truly cared and listened to what I wanted and needed.

In this difficult time of trying to find vehicles I was struggling to find the car that I needed to purchase. I contacted Howdy Honda and started a conversation with Nik Popov. He went to work trying to find me some thing and was able to pull a few strings and procure a vehicle that fit my needs perfectly. He was very accommodating and very thorough discovering my needs and finding the vehicle that fit best.

I was given a great demonstration of all the features and felt well taken care of both during the sale and after the sale. I would definitely recommend Howdy Honda to anyone considering buying a Honda in the Austin area and I would highly recommend to give Nik a call.

I have always had good experiences at Howdy Honda, and today was no exception. I had great customer service from Mac Wooten in service. He explained my maintenance options in detail instead of glossing over the details of different packages which I'm sure he has explained hundreds of times to customers. He was helpful with my questions while I was waiting as well. It was an excellent experience!

My experience with howdy Honda has overall been amazing! My salesman Edward, made sure to take good care of us BOTH TIMES. Yes I said BOTH TIMES I have purchase two different vehicles from him in the last year! He is honestly the only one I want to work with when it comes to buying a car! Buy a $45,000 car and it doesn't come with any key fobs? Seriously? I will never come back, and will tell everyone I know to avoid. The used car manager never came to say hello to me, hazed the employee I was working with because he was in new cars and I was buying a used car. Lathen and Krystin and the finance manager that desked my deal were all great.

The managers were terrible. The used car manager tried a bait and switch on me, and when I pointed it out instead of coming out to meet me. Instead of trying to understand what was going on, instead of admiring it and apologizing. He dug his heels in. Stood by his false advertising and wouldn't budge. I sent Curtis Salter their GM an email about my experience. No response, but I wasn't expecting one. It's obvious based on quite a few things that the managers really don't care.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from you guys and upon inspecting the vehicle we noticed a few things wrong. Our salesman Dayron was assisting us. We notice three things on the vehicle that were minor issues and was informed that the dealership would be happy to take care of the issues. After signing the papers and taking the car home, I drove it for about 2 weeks before the starter in my car completely stopped working (which was one of the things we had discussed while inspecting the car).

I brought my car in to have my new license plates put on and Dayron informed me I would need to schedule an appointment to have them fixed. After I left the lot with my new tags I could not get the car to start up again. I had it jumped and brought it back. My car was held for almost two weeks before the dealer called me back and informed me they don't have anything in writing about the starter and would not be fixing my car.

After talking with a few different agents, I wasn't provided with any customer service, and basically told "your screwed good luck". I asked for the notes and documents that were taken during my inspection and they lied and said they weren't allowed to take notes, then back tracked and was told they can take notes but they don't matter.

The only thing that matters is what's on the form during the purchase of the vehicle. I was lied to and manipulate. Their word is not to be trusted and they were very rude and ignorant towards me. I would not recommend buying anything from this dealer. They aren't honest and don't treat their customers with respect. ** update: the dealer ship has still not responded to my voice-mail and basically told me tough luck. Very rude. Do not buy cars from these con artists.

Do NOT buy a 10th gen Civic! There are known issues with the ENTIRE AC system yet American Honda only extended the warranty on the condenser and not the compressor! So if the compressor goes out, you are out for a 2k repair bill. Bonus, even if you do get it repaired, prepare to pay this fee again 1-2 years down the line when it fails again : Check out the 10th gen civic forum on this and you will see numerous posts on this.

When I contacted American Honda for some/any financial assistance they told me tough luck you're out of warranty. My car is a 2017 and only has 35k miles on it, yet an item that is supposed to last for +100k miles item is already broken. Honda's reliability has plummeted in the recent past and I won't be purchasing another honda after this poor treatment. Does Honda actually expect us to be paying 2k every 1-2 years to get the AC fixed? I'm trading this piece of junk in for a toyota and never looking back.

Shady business. Went to trade in my 2018 Honda Civic and lease a new one. The process should've been easy and transparent but it was nothing but. The finance guy Duane tried to sneak a package onto my lease. He straight up lied and said that all new leases come with free oil changes and tire protection. A closer inspection of the lease contract showed it was a $1000 add on he had ever so politely snuck in there.

Another lie that was told was that I had an option of walking away with a $2000 check THAT DAY for my equity trade in or I could put that money toward my lease. I decided to take the check. After signing the papers I asked him. well where's my check? He replies oh that should take two weeks. I was given no written documentation that this money was owed to me and I had to go through several hoops and few brush offs (that took days) to finally get everything sorted out. BUYER BEWARE.

I walked in there as a single female hoping for some honest business but unfortunately the stigma is true. You can't trust car salesmen. I walked away feeling disgusted and taken advantage of. It is all sorted out now but it should've never happened in the first place. Have some decency and respect towards people/customers especially during these tough times.

I have leased two previous cars from howdy Honda but unfortunately after this one I will most likely go another route. They do give out free drinks in the waiting room but they're so generous with them because they're sneaking $1000 packages onto peoples leases. Good work guys.

I would not recommend. If your credit is challenged they will cut you off before trying to work with you. They will have you complete the application process and stay silent if it means they have to work. Very unprofessional

We have a 2018 pilot (Touring) that's been having issues with the collision mitigation system, which BTW [the issue] is a design flaw with the vehicle. Even though we were under the Honda extended warranty we were charged $179 to basically clear the error code from the computer (again). Pretty good scam for Honda - cause or leave a problem in the car and then charge outrageous amounts of money to reset the system (that only a dealership can do).

The car was also due for an oil change, which they wanted to perform. I asked how much and was told about $65 and I agreed to that. When we picked up the car we had been charged $66 for labor, $27 for oil and $28 for the oil filter. Unscrupulous? You decide. I'm done with Honda. The cars aren't built as well as they used to be and their dealerships are clearly more interested in taking advantage of their customers than building trusted relationships.
