I just got home from leaving this place, I'm m not one to leave reviews on establishments but this one is MUCH DESERVED! My car was making a funky noise and automatically knew it was my brakes, not knowing much about cars I Google places and came across Hollywood Motors. Me saying they went beyond and above to do what they could for me is not enough.
When I called to make the appointment I spoke with Ragu, he was amazing from beginning to end. Taking me home so I wouldn't need to be at the shop all day to picking me up so I could get my car. He originally told me my car would be ready the next day but when I started stressing that I had just started a new job and had already missed a day just to take my car in, he and the team worked hard and got my car done by the end of the night!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you so much to Ragu and the employees at Hollywood Motors! Would definitely be doing business with them again if I ever need it!

The crew at Hollywood Motors are so attentive to great customer service, and I trust them with act service repair that my car needs. They are available when other local garages are not, and I have always found their prices to be reasonable. Even the waiting area is clean and comfortable if you need to wait. I recommend this place highly!

Finally! A mechanic you can trust in! Adam and his technicians are top notch. I was referred to them by my gf that lives down the road from the shop. I drove over 30 minutes to bring my car here and I could not be more happy to have done that. From the beginning the customer service was excellent. Friendly faces, warm conversation and service with a smile.
They took the time to do a full inspection of my vehicle and send me pictures and the status of all the key components of the car. There is plenty wrong with my car as it's 10 years old with 180,000 miles on it. However, they did not push me to fix everything at once. They were honest with me and told me what was urgent and what wasn't. One of their technicians even went for a ride with me to make sure that the sound I was hearing, was the same as he was hearing.
This gave me so much confidence that they wanted to do the job right. They were slammed but they still made time to take my care the same day and got it back to me that afternoon. I had some suspension issues with a broken stabilizer bar and was in need of an alignment and a few other minor things. I paid a fair price and my car is running smooth again.
They didn't scoff at me for bringing them a car with such high miles and in bad shape, instead they told me they could fix it and that my car still had plenty of life to it. I like them so much that I am now taking my mom's car to them and as long as I live in Illinois, I will be bringing my car to Adam and his Techs. I HIGHLY recommend them.

You may stop researching now for your auto needs! Hollywood motors: not only very kind and trustworthy, but efficient and the best customer service I have experienced, EVER, while getting my car serviced. or actually, in general. More details: I called on a whim to see if they had ANY time for a new neighbor (me) to get her oil changed. Cindy, Jeff, Adam and the mechanics were all so wonderful.
They worked with me in my 2 hour window for my very needed last minute oil change before a long drive. These types of appointments normally stress me out - I always feel like I'm going to be taken advantage of, or the mechanic won't have my best interest in mind. Finding a good auto service shop is hard, it's like trying to find a good dentist. I was put to ease immediately when I spoke to them on the phone.
When I arrived - I was slightly nervous I was going to be scolded for my crazy time needs - but no - they were SO very welcoming, friendly, and great to converse with. I never had such a good time getting the oil changed on the car. Hollywood Motors are good people. Go support them. By far the best service shop I've ever used. Professional friendly and transparent. Honest and up front. Doesn't try to add on unnecessary services. The computer tracking for your vehicle is a huge plus and allows you to view your vehicles history and see visually Items and areas being serviced and or discussed. Would highly recommend them!
