History: Lloyd is a fourth generation family owner, along with his brother Nelson. He graduated from Seminole Community College (now Seminole State College) with an A.S. degree in Automotive Service Management and a certificate in Office Management. Lloyd is also an ASE Master Tech, A9, L1. He began his career with Harrell & Beverly in 2002. Job Duties: Diagnostics; service and repair work. Specialty: Electrical diagnoses and driveability. Hobbies: Fishing, water sports and spending time with his family.

Harrell & Beverly has been providing professional, honest and dependable service since it was started in Bluefield, Virginia in the early 1950s. The company was founded by Samuel Harrell and James Beverly, son-in-law of Mr. Harrell. The company name is the last names of the two founders. Anna Beverly, wife of James Beverly and daughter of Mr. Harrell, served as business administrator from 1952 until her passing in 1981.

Harrell & Beverly has been doing business in Sanford since 1959. Sanford is a wonderful place to live, work and play. Sanford sits on the south shore of Lake Monroe at the head of the navigation on the St. Johns River. During the Seminole Wars of the 1830's, the area was the site of an U.S. Army post name Fort Mellon.

I've been going to H & B for many years (10+) and I've never had cause to complain about any work they have done across several different vehicles. Although I think the cost of repairs a little high the quality received is well with it. They are friendly and open in their dealings and I've never encountered a hidden cost. I've also noticed that they stay current work modern technology in both their repairs and communications and billing. Dealing with them is always convenient and they are never heard to reach in the event of a question. I give them my highest recommendation. In fact I have referred many friends to them over the years.

Paid reasonable diag fee for messed up differential work from another shop. They provided a full online report with pictures and videos if I needed to take further action at the other place. Total professionals who understood my scenario. No pressure to complete the work with them, but was offered as expected.

Staff here especially Hope and the technician Lloyd were very helpful. We're they the cheapest by far no but can you trust them to get the job done right and follow up if something happens even out of their control. It's harder and harder to trust where you take your vehicle for maintenance or work. These guys not only treat you right but do quality work.

The best transmission repair shop anywhere bar none. Recommended by my auto repair shop as a place that stands behind their work and would give me an honest estimate and job. When they fixed the transmission we realized that the one they repaired had been incorrectly repaired under warranty by the dealer. Never had to touch it again. This is the only place I will go for service.
