From the moment I walked into there office, I was greeted by their friendly customer service staff. They called In Kevin and Eric to see if they could help with my metal damaged problem. They were busy and my car was parked in a spot where they were not comfortable with its location. Eric asked for my keys and relocated my car to a safe spot while they analyzed my problem.

There waiting room is comfortable and they offered a drink & snack. Gustafson Brothers is a refreshing surprise, where customer service is there priority. Kevin returned from the service area fixing my damaged metal. I did not even have to leave my car. I left with my repair and a smile on my face, grateful for there help and service!

They are the best shop in the county maybe the country. they charged fair price dealer wanted 5 x to do same work. I trust their people ownership John G. has strong moral values which shows in his business Service: Auto maintenance

I found this place through a Eric G. who is employed here. We needed some minor collision work done on our Daughter's Civic. So fast forward I give the contact information to my Daughter who was assisted by Rae who was very helpful with the initial estimate to repair as well as the follow ups after leaving the car for the needed repairs. We realized with the difficulty in getting most foreign parts it takes a bit longer than normal.

So fast forward our Daughter got the call informing her that her car was completed and ready for pick up in a very timely manner. Gustafson did a GREAT job and our daughter couldn't be any happier with the end results. They did such a fantastic job you can't even tell the repairs were done, WOW! I want to ad everybody here was so friendly on the visits to this establishment. Thank you again for the transparency and making our first experience here a very positive one

My car broke down on a freeway in Riverside while I was on my way from Phoenix to Huntington Beach. I had it towed to Gustafson Brothers. Everyone from the receptionist to the mechanic Jose were amazing. My engine was shot & had to be towed to a dealership because it was under warranty. Jose went above & beyond to find a dealer that would fix my car. That is true customer service. My family lives in Huntington Beach & would not hesitate to go to Gustafson's for service!

Near the end of 2021 I got into a small car accident that actually came to have some big consequences. I rear ended a minivan at about 10 mph. At first I thought nothing was wrong, I work remotely so I rarely drive my truck, but then after a few times, issues started. My truck is a diesel so I took it to a diesel place where it seemed could do the work.

I was wrong, they basically did everything they could to not do the work plus they told me the truck was not drivable. My AAA agent said this place should not do it. There were 3 things that had a deciding factor in me even getting the truck fixed. 1-my truck is 24 years old and although that's old for a diesel that's not really old. 2-the diesel shop told me that a $750 job needed to be completed for my truck to pass smog. 3-even though it's 24 years old the state where I live is requiring it pass a smog test.

We didn't want to spend money on tires, and money on a $750 job, if the truck wasn't going to pass. After a ton of emails, a ton of conversations, and yes some arguing, they got it to pass smog, and we didn't even have to spend the $750 on the job as it passed without it. So, my accident actually became a good thing since we no longer needed to buy a newer vehicle.

We can now drive the truck 2 more years at least. Which is good since I am starting to drive back to work and my kids may need to drive it as they are now driving. Thank you Eric Gurley and Kelly Babineau, you turned a really bad experience into a fantastic experience.

Gustafson Brothers is an excellent shop with truly professional, exceptional customer service! And Kathy as their shining star! Their service is outstanding and they offer fair/reasonable pricing. We have used their auto repair services a few times and couldn't be happier. Kathy has continued to take amazing care of our vehicles and us through every step.

The latest experience involved our Toyota Camry that was t-boned and practically totaled. Kathy knew how much we wanted to retain the vehicle so she worked her magic to ensure we were thrilled with the finished product. They were able to completely restore the car as if it were new. We highly recommend!

First time customer. Exceptional in mechanical knowledge, professional, technologically advanced, superior customer service. They documented details about my car with photos & videos. I knew exactly what parts needed to be replaced so I could make informed decisions on my older car.

I'd give 10stars if possible and an A++++++. We took our car in after numerous attempts in Oregon with our regular mechanic before we moved to OC, and at Aamco (down the street). Let's make a comparison real quickly. Our mechanic in Oregon changed some fluids on our Ford Escape and said everything was fine, even though my husband who was a mechanic and a service tech for Honolulu Ford said, "No, the car overheats and doesn't seem to pick up speed from 1st to 2nd after a little bit of driving.and there's definitely an oil leak somewhere." Our regular mechanic insisted the car was fine.

We found that our fan was only half working.replaced that, and we still had a slow leak somewhere, as we kept finding small oil drops on the ground under our vehicle, but we were told it was nothing. Um.ok. So, we make the move to OC. My sister suggested Aamco, because they finance you and she's always had good luck with them. The guy at Aamco had us take our vehicle in at 10:15am, and said he'd have it "for a couple hours." We went down there for 2 hours walking around and dining and came back.

Our vehicle was still sitting there. We asked if he looked at our vehicle and he gave an attitude and said something along the lines of, "See, that's the problem.we need a few hours to check out your vehicle." Husband asked what time they close, and he said, "5." So, I said, "Let's just take the bus home." Later, Aamco guy told us they drove the car and don't feel anything wrong with it. ARE YOU KIDDING? That's how you diagnose?

Out of frustration, we put a post up on Facebook and said, "WE NEED A MECHANIC." My friend in Texas has a grandma in Westminster who uses, "Gustafson Brothers, " and said, "Grandma's been using them for years and our family doesn't go to anyone else." Husband hit up Gustafson Brothers.and they said they would need the car for the day and we'd get it back tomorrow.

They actually diagnosed the car and found that it was just gaskets and that our mechanic in Oregon only replaced half our gaskets and sent us on our way. Gustafson Brothers also had us pick our vehicle up the same day, instead of having it overnight, AND they cleaned our car for us. That's top-notch customer service! We are NEW Gustfason Brother's regulars.this will be our regular mechanic shop. They take care of everything. Thanks guys!

So happy right now! Driving from Seattle area to Southern California, I started getting a hissing sound with acceleration or uphill to maintain speed. My thought was ecoboost (turbo) issue. So- since it was driving fine other than that, I completed the remaining 700 miles and took it to my favorite mechanic. It was a turbo leak. A hose had slipped off. So, they got it cleaned and reconnected and fixed for me. Soo much cheaper than a new turbo! 2020 transit crew high roof long awd drw 37,000 miles.

Original tires and brakes still Love my van! And so happy to have an excellent mechanic friend who can get me in so quick! Eric has always taken incredible care of our vehicles!

100% 5-star service especially my service rep Ray. She was amazing, helpful, kind, & patient. My highest regard to Ray. A real asset to Gustafson. It's a treat to work with professionals. I was rear ended and needed the bumper repaired. Gustafson was one of the companies in my insurance plan. I'm very glad that I went with them. They were fantastic. They were able to repair my car in a week, including getting parts. Great service. Great work. Thank you.

Trustworthy and convenient! I always go to Gustafson's Brothers as I know my car and I will be well taken care of without being lied to. Eric has always been incredibly helpful, given me insights and support that I otherwise would not have had regarding various automotive needs. Just another day, they fixed my tire super fast and inexpensive, and showed me couple of options and educated me on the best one for me, as I was getting ready to drive to the mountains! I have been taking my car in road trips, thanks to Eric and the team. Thank you, Gustafson's!

Astronomically priced. Having 2 brake pads replaced was over $1,000. This is more than double, almost TRIPLE the normal price. Jose is the biggest snake of all, he always tries to step you up and get you to buy shit you DO NOT NEED. Sometimes I would go here for oil changes but the actual service is so grossly overpriced on top of which I just can't trust this Jose guy.

He even suckered my mother with the old "new air filter" trick every scummy car shop uses. Except I had changed the filter 2 weeks prior and he convinced her that hers was dirty so he sold her a new one, taking advantage of her naivete. As a family of 6 who have been going here for over a decade, our business is now concluded. I'll update this post with a recommendation of an fair and honest local mechanic shop when I get back from vacation and have my address book handy.

Eric was super helpful. We came in on a tight pinch, didn't know if any mechanics would be open. But we were in and out of there in less than an hour! Definitely a wonderful group of people.

We were in Huntington Beach visiting friends (we were 500 miles away from home). We had brake problems and Gustafson's was very helpful in diagnosing and fixing the problem on a holiday weekend! I found Gustafson Brothers 8 years ago when my dad needed a reliable place to take his cars. When he passed away my family continued bringing his car here along with our other cars. While picking up our car today I was disappointed to see a sign on the entrance that read Truth Justice and the American Way-Masks are your choice. There's a mask mandate in California, a pandemic still making thousands sick or worse, and there's no way to know if the 4 customers and 4 employees in the office were vaccinated. I'll find another repair shop that actually cares about their customers and employees. It's not worth taking a chance on my health or the health of my family. What a disappointment, Gustafson Brothers.

Chances are, if you're reading this, you're having a terrible day. That's how I found myself at Gustafson Brothers a couple weeks ago. Someone ran a light and hit my car. AAA sent me. but, in spite of this, the people, especially Kathy and Rae were very very kind and helpful and continuously made my needs a priority. They answered my questions frankly and honestly and I am ever so grateful. Those poor souls had to deal with me for almost two weeks on account of the other driver's insurance company wasting time. I ran over something while driving at night and the plastic parts under my car broke. I regularly get my car serviced here, so I gave them a call and they were able to take my car in the next day. Elsa is amazing! She was able to get my car fixed within an hour. I highly recommend coming here for all your car needs.

My car ran over a truck tire on the freeway and had damage to the front bumper wheels and the rear bumper. Within five days Gustafson brothers had fixed my car and it's better than new. They sent me constant updates and let me know how Progress was going daily. The service was above and beyond what I expected and I will highly recommend them to all my friends and family. You cannot lose with this group

Got into an accident and my rear quarter panel was damaged as well as my driver side wheel was all scraped up, I was broken hearted to see my car damaged and we ended up coming to Gustafson Brothers, Kathy was a great help and checked out the car wrote up the estimate for us and took care of us straight away and got us into a rental that same moment we had brought in our car.

I believe Calvin was the one who fixed up my vehicle I'm super impressed with there work the paint looks amazing even better than it did coming out of the dealer and the rim is perfect looks like nothing ever happened over all super impressed and super happy to have my car back better than ever! So over all I want to say thank you to all of you for your hard work and I would definitely recommend coming to get anything fixed or done here they treat you like family and take care of your issues straight away. The team at Gustafson Brothers are excellent; the entire chain from desk agent to mechanics were incredibly thorough and helpful. I booked an appointment over the phone for a pre-purchase inspection on a used vehicle with the desk agent. They were very courteous & helpful with finding an appointment time and taking in relevant information. The team is incredibly transparent and I received notifications throughout every step of the process.

Once my car was checked in, I got an email with a link to the planned services & estimates. After the inspection was complete, they emailed me the results complete with photos taken throughout the inspection. For example, they checked all fluids and took a photo of the fluids in vials next to what "normal" should look like. They identified a small oil leak and had photos to document where it was/how bad it was. Overall I was incredibly pleased with the thoroughness and helpfulness of this shop. Would definitely be looking to bring my cars here in the future

My family has been taking cars to Gustafson's for 10+ years, but it's time to find a new place. Two weeks ago, I went in for a quote on some out of pocket body work and was told by Kathy she'd have a quote the next day. I call the next day, she's not there and there's no quote. Call again a couple times over a week, and she keeps pushing back when I'll get a quote.

Over two weeks, I've followed up probably six times and got no quote. Seriously- I have to chase you down for my business? Yesterday I called one last time, to give Kathy and the business the benefit of the doubt. She put me on hold for 20 minutes, then giggled and joked around with other staff after she finally picked up. She said she had been looking for the right door, but with a quick search with my car model and color paint, I found at least a dozen options that were an exact color match.

She promised to email me a quote right after getting off the phone, and unsurprisingly, I still have no quote a day later. Lame. Out of pocket = EASY money. Gustafson's will waste your time, and doesn't like money or loyal, long time customers.

Definitely recommend! I've had my car worked on here twice in the body shop and once in the mechanic shop. Excellent service and quality work every time. I don't plan on going anywhere else. The first visit was from damage to the hood of my Audi from a falling palm frond. It was a deep scratch/dent. You'd never know after the work they did.

I just picked it back up from my second drop off due to another car hitting it while parked. The damage was to the driver side wheel and surrounding fender. They had to do some cosmetic work and blend the hood paint to match, and it looks like new. My service writer was Kelly and she was on top of it with regular updates. Thanks for all the help!

A review 6 years in the making. In 2015 our beloved car a 2014 Ford Edge appropriately named Sparkles was involved in an accident while on her way to work. Gustafson Brothers was our first choice to get her taken care of. Unfortunately I wasn't happy with her paint job and never returned to complain and get her paint fixed up. Fast forward 2021 when I went to get her detailed as well as her paint issues addressed and we noticed her clear coat was peeling.

The detail shop advised me that I should take it back to Gustafson Brothers and see what they could do as they are really good and that they wouldn't touch it until the clear coat was fixed. I returned to Gustafson Brothers and was met by the owner John who recognized me and our car named Sparkles. I told John about my dissatisfaction with the paint and he said let me look up the repair order and he'd get back to me. John turned me over to Ray who is the shop project manager to deal with going forward. Ray immediately got the ball rolling under John's direction and we found out the paint itself was the issue.

After the paint manufacture looked at it, Gustafson Brothers immediately began a plan to fix the issues. After a color sand and buff, they re-shot the clear coat and boy does the car look great now! There's two Rays here, actually a Ray and a Rae, and both were professional, helpful and worked hard to earn my trust, my business and my respect for their hard work.

At the same time this was all happening, I was getting ready for a move out of state that eventually fell through, but Gustafson Brothers had my car ready for my deadline regardless! I appreciate all they have done for me and because of that they deserve a great review of their work! Our car is named Sparkles because her paint actually Sparkles in the sun, her paint is called Tuxedo Black Metallic and looks great now!

My car still doesn't like Lexus vehicles because of her accident, but hopefully that'll all change in the future! Thanks again Gustafson Brothers and to all the crew there!

Great customer service and they're super professional at Gustafson Brothers. Came in to get a prepurchase inspection. Eric was the best! Got the all-clear that the car was in great condition. Will definitely continue to bring my car in for future servicing and repairs.
