Got a new Jeep last week and plan to be taking trails in Tahoe this summer, and doing some fishing. Before I head that way I got a few things done to protect my Jeep thanks to Level up, they did a full front ppf job ceramic coated the rest of the car and installing windshield protection. The car is ready to go against the elements and the future time spent on keeping it clean is minimal

Had nothing short of a great experience working with Dennis and his team. I had my CrV tinted and Jay was able to help me. Dennis was actually on leave at the time, but he was able to set up his team to help me out. The tint itself is beautiful and helps me keep the heat down in these hot months. What I appreciated most was how they took care of me, gave me a ride share to my destination, and on the way back.

I've been to various other private own auto shops and they wouldn't offer that on the front end. Appreciate the tint and hospitality guys. I'll be back for more work in the future.

Waited a while for my Volvo xc40 to arrive. When I got my delivery date called Level Up to book a full front ppf package and added the basic wear and tear package too. This covers the whole front including lights and door handles and door edges. I got my car in the gorgeous Amazon Blue and plan to keep it looking new as long as possible! The guys there are quick to respond very clear on what's going on and got it back to me sooner than expected!

I have a 2020 Gls, white in color and park it outside. I have 3 kids and little time to wash the car. For minimal long term care and protection from the sun and other things. Me getting this car fully covered in paint protection film was a no brainer and a time saver. Level up auto styling help educated me on the product and was super helpful. The end result after looked amazing and so glossy.

I was driving on the freeway behind a work truck and it kicked up a bunch of gravel, messing up my Prius (my babygirl Sheila)'s front bumper. insurance covered the fix but I wanted to avoid this kind of thing in the future looking around I read up on paint protection film. Level Up got me in quick and did a full front set up. Including hood bumper lights front fenders and side mirrors.

I also had a nice shine to it now! My Prius looks like I just picked her up the first day can't thank the team enough for everything, their consistent communication around updates and photos of Sheila put me at ease knowing she'd be in safe hands Thank you 10/10 would recommend

The guys at griffin's auto are one of the best in the great Mountain View area. Dennis and Justin are very well knowledgeable in the automotive industry and very well equipped with all the right tools and supplies to get your vehicle back running right. Honest with all their recommendations for each vehicle. I have been bringing my vehicle to them for the last 3 years and what I appreciate most is that they are familiar with my vehicle and know exactly what it needs for the next time around. When ever I need anything to do with my car and fixing, they are able to squeeze me in with in days if not same day.

Charged me nothing to diagnose an older Subaru for issues. Super helpful, even when delivering the bad news that all the issues with my Impreza Wagon would cost more to repair than it was worth. Would definitely recommend

This is the best car experience I've had. They didn't try to sell me a whole bunch of things I don't need, didn't talk to me like I was a stupid girl, and explained all my questions without judgement. As a single woman this was a nice change from past car repair shops. Pricing is also reasonable and they explain all the charges so there is no hidden service fees or anything. Highly recommend.

First off, this place got a new owner in 2019, so half the reviews don't apply anymore. That said, I've only dealt with the new owner (and partner -- there seem to be two main guys) and am impressed so far. The long story: I came in to fix a clicking noise upon acceleration that's common to Nissans. There's a TSB about it that involves greasing up some stuff, so I asked them to do it, which cured 80% of the problem. Months later, it seemed to be slipping, plus I decided I wanted it 100% cured anyway, so I asked if they'd try again, only this time with the exact brand of grease recommended in the TSB.

They did, yet somehow the noise got worse! At this point, his theory was that it's a brake-related problem, so he kept it one more day, replaced a part (no charge), and VOILA, the noise has been extinct ever since. The progression of events made zero sense to me, but that's less important than the fact that these guys nailed the problem and seem to have a stellar work ethic. They also charged a reasonable fee and are pleasant to talk to.

Great experience. Griffin's did a great job. I recently upgraded my entire brake system (BBK). The task ended up requiring a bit of fabrication, but the guys at Griffin's had no trouble with it. They called me to let me know and asked for my input, I appreciated that. The brakes turned out fantastic. No squeaks, no shakes, and much improved stopping power.

I also had new sport springs installed the same day. As a thank you for being a first time customer they threw in the alignment. That blew me away. I would 100% recommend Griffen's. In fact, I'm upgrading to coilovers next month and am having them do the install, along with control arms and sway bars.

Dennis and his team took excellent care of my car. I had tried another mechanic shop multiple times and they never fixed my AC. The online form for Griffin's is perfect. They make sure to address all of the issues you list. I mentioned there was a noise when I idled and I wasn't sure if it was just my AC pump or another problem. The team was able to get my new ac pump installed and top off my steering pump in one day. My car sounds great and it is so nice to have AC again : The price is very fair. I highly recommend this shop!

This was my second visit to Griffin's. They once again exceeded my expectations. I needed my door locked fixed and my battery checked. They fixed my lock and checked my battery. Heads up- they can't check battery cells. They even replaced the battery in my key! It hasn't worked in years Highly recommend this shop! It's definitely my new spot.

Dennis & Justin are amazing! I brought my Ford Escape in to get the A/C inspected and to track down an oil leak. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue with the A/C and the source of my oil leak, provide an upfront estimate, and repair it in no time at all. Dennis even removed a nail he found in my tire free of charge. I'll definitely be coming back instead of going to the dealer!

This place is faul when it comes to they're work. Fred the guy that works here made a deal on changing my control arms back to the original ones. I dropped the car off on SAT & SUN, the 26th and 27th to get the job done and turns out that when I arrived today to bring it back home, my car was to lowered to the ground. I was confused because my car wasn't like that.

I don't know if they didn't put my original shocks back on or cut it but my car is not positioned in the right height! Then he said that it's all there, and I have a bad shock or spring. I never had a problem wit that. All he was going to do is change the control arms. but he said he didn't do nothin. If u look at the picture the difference is there from it being at my house during the day, to me getting there at 7:00pm and it being way out of order on the wheels scrapping too low against the fender, and then says lift up the Jack.

This is bs. Now it's to the point that he don't want to take responsibility so it's a report wit the police now. I DONT RECOMMEND BRINGING UR PROJECT MUSTSNG OR CAMAROS HERE. They might be doing stuff u don't know. report this incident tomorow.

What great service! Dennis and his team repaired my water pumped and changed my oil. Very reliable! Definitely would recommend. Will be going back when needed.

One of the greatest experience with a mechanic Let me explain. I have a car that is infamous for having transmission issues. During its time under warranty, they would only every replace the part. Over the years, its is now to the point where the car cost more to fix than its worth. I'm not originally from this area and often fear being overcharged for repairs on my car.

When I came here, the owner was super helpful the entire process. When the car was first diagnosed, it was determined to be one of two things. When the first option did not work out and it was determined I would need a new transmission, he did not charge me for the additional work and included the cost in the overall work. Additionally, because my car would be in the shop for a few days, he was able to get me a rental.

Throughout the entire process, he was super communicative and prepared different options for replacing the transmission (the other mechanics just 'fixed' it and gave it back). When my car was ready, they even showed me my old transmission and showed me what had gone wrong, explaining the process and the part that had malfunction. They even change my oil for free! Dennis and his team are great and I know I have found a trustworthy mechanic I can go to when my car starts to act up. Big or small, they do it all. Thank you!

I needed a last minute oil change before a road trip. Dennis was able to squeeze me in last minute and I was in and out in less than 1hr. I'm completely satisfied with his professionalism and level of detail. He wasn't pushy but informative with ways that I could keep my car serviced in the future. I'd highly recommend this shop for all your auto needs.

I own a Saab, so it's hard enough finding a mechanic who works on them, let alone a mechanic you can trust. Dennis was recommended by a family member and I couldn't be more happy. He acknowledged he works on Saabs, and took a picture of one he currently had in the shop. Wasn't sure if I needed a new alternator but he tested everything and confirmed it did.

A few other issues were fixed, and the car is now at 100%. I would highly recommend them, they seem to work on every type of car, old or new, Japanese European or American! Thank you so much Griffin's Auto Repair!

Professional, trustworthy mechanics in the conveniently located spot. I needed new breaks for my SUV. Called, got an estimate, set a date, brought the car in - all done in a couple of hours while I had lunch and worked at the next door Bajis cafe (people, hospitality, and buckwheat pancakes are top notch!) Dennis, the new owner, made sure I had all questions answered. Definitely will have my next service done with them. Highly recommend.

This is my new repair shop for any repairs or maintenance on my Acura MDX. I highly recommend Griffin's based on my experience with Dennis, the new owner. My old shop was good but I got the feeling I was always paying too much. The final straw was when they told me that it was going to cost more than the car was worth to repair the ABS/AVS system.

So I requested quotes on Yelp and waited. Dennis responded quickly with a competitive quote. I had a few questions which he answered quickly and clearly. I gave him the job and am so pleased with the results! The repair was done ahead of schedule and with no surprises, nor extra costs, which the old shop almost always had. I got a pair of LED headlights and want to upgrade my car. I tried to do it myself but totally screwed. Fortunately, Dennis is great at doing his work. I just dropped by and he promised to get it done in the same day. Thanks to him, pretty easy to talk, I would like to look for him again in the future.

Did a yelp disbursement message getting quotes on 45,000 miles service. They were the first to get back to me and quoted a very fair price. Nice little shop. Easy to get to and very clean. Dennis is super sweet and very polite. Did the service quickly and got me back in the road in no time. I highly recommend.

I've known Dennis for such a long time. He is so meticulous in his work. And it shows. Numerous things has been done on my Honda Accord by him! When in doubt, ask for Dennis! The detail in his work really shows. He diagnose every problem. And price fairly tooo. Where else can beat that? I will definitely be coming back and keep coming back!

Dennis is an all star and takes the time to truly investigate the symptoms and fix a root cause issue. When I initially took my truck in because of an odd sound and the check engine light, Dennis give me a quick honest expectation and diagnosis. Then we agreed-upon a limited scope of work to diagnose the problem fully, he was transparent with me about what needed to be done, once he found the real issue and he recommended some replacement parts and testing we agreed on a final course of action.

There were no surprises or "gotcha moments". Everything was pleasant, timely and transparent. Oh Lord I hope I don't have more issues with my truck, but if/when I do I am definitely bringing it back here!

The repairs done to my car provided a serious performance change. The turbo is kicking in sooner, and it's accelerating much quicker from a stop, and at freeway speeds. A lot more power. So overall my car is driving like new! Plus the customer service was top notch! Dennis, my mechanic, was very knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. He kept me informed, and delivered results and completed my repairs quickly.
